    Robert nodded "exactly, they are also the most violent family I have ever met" he explained "which is why Connor and I will have to skip this party for perhaps a quiet night out"


    Bella laughed and shook her fork "not so fast loved boy; first off neither of you are in any situation to leave, and also my house my rules. You both will attend the party and play nice. With most of my father's men occupied I need as many eyes and ears on the floor as I can get" she said and then turned to Connor "even you, though I recommend sticking with Robert for most the night"

    Robert walked back over to Connor and put his arm around him. "Don't worry darling, I'll take care of you" Robert said


    Bella rolled her eyes "do your best not to get stabbed tonight" she said "blood is hard to wash off wood"

    Bella shook her head "not more than the average crime family. Robert just has a knack for pissing off the wrong people" she replied


    "In my defense, I've never tried to start a fight" Robert explained


    "No you're just so insistent on continuing and ending them" Bella shot back

    "Oh kinky" Robert purred "maybe I'll be a little chatty tonight"


    Bella coughef "both of you out" she said and started to shoo them "please go occupy yourselves outside this kitchen"

    Robert chuckled "sure darling" he said and glanced down at his watch "we've got some time before the party starts, how about we take a little adventure". He started to look Connor up and down "I'm thinking a new suit would be nice for tonight, navy might look good on you" He suggested

    He gave him a curious look at the question of an adventure and said, “A new suit...? I don’t really have clothes here so sure, but I don’t want to impose so if we have to pay for it, I’ll pay.” He said with a sheepish smile.

    "Nonsense it's my gift to you" Robert replied taking his hand "and this is not up for discussion I'm taking you clothes shopping and I'm paying. I assure you that you will not be imposing"

    He pouted but nodded. “Okay... fine but I’m still gonna figure out how to pay you back. I love you so much so I got to start doing something’s so I don’t weigh you down.” He declared

    "You are not weighing me down" Robert insisted, pulling him toward the garage. "Less talk money and more talk of which car we should take" he said as he opened the door to reveal a line of luxury brands sport cars.

    His eyes widened in surprise as he looked at all the cars. "E-Eh..? This many cars? That's amazing..." He murmured before looking at Robert. "Is it really okay to use one?"
