I don't watch any TV shows so I don't know show based apocalypse themes, but I have role played them before so I may have ideas if you want to do an apocalypse thread. "3
I'm also up for Avatar/Legend of Korra roleplay if that's something you're looking towards, although I hope I didn't misunderstand "Avatar". I wasn't sure if you were pertaining to Avatar: The Last Airbender, or just Avatar. :x

And we can do a zombie apocalypse, it doesn't have to be based off a show. There's a real thing called the cordyceps disease (In ants and slugs, don't worry lol) that basically takes over the mind with a fungus. I'm thinking maybe the infected people can still sense pain, so they get taken aback with blows, but they're still controlled by the fungus so they still go to attack people. And it doesn't have to be a head-shot to kill them. However much force it takes to kill a real person, it's that same for them.

Yeah! I'm more into apocalypse stuff cause it really wrings out humanity/characters and stuff. It's good for writing in depth basically. I'll make a thread and you can post a character form there.

Would you be interested in doing a GxG romance in either Camp Half Blood (And a plot idea I have) or RWBY if you are familiar with it? (Or both haha.)
The CHB plot I had in mind goes like this, to give you an idea, which I can flesh out more if you're interested:
A daughter of Thanatos is chased by a horde of creatures to the edge of Camp Half Blood, confused as to what the monsters following her are or why they want her. All she knows was that her mother gave her a map with the location on it, and that she was told to run there if anything ever happened... A day before her house violently exploded. The day of her sixteenth birthday. She tried to rescue her mother, but the number of monsters was overwhelming.
Thus she found herself following her mothers last instructions, frantically running for life. Even for a child of the gods, the amount of monsters vying to get their hands on the girl were staggering. Luckily for the young girl Chriron rescued her, pulling her into the barrier before she was apprehended. Cautious as to the reasoning for the mass amount of monsters, but concerned, Chiron takes her back to the camp to be integrated in. However the same day that her father is finally made aware to the camp and herself, a prophecy is given.
As age comes swift like a victorious win,
the cogs of confusion shall spin again.
The chasm of darkness wakes to slay,
the sixth full moon not far way.
Watch with care for the girl of black,
a joyous fate her life will lack.
A key to the end, sadness untold,
an act of treachery will unfold.
Brought forth to one who births the night,
those traveling with shall surely fight.
The daughter of death will strive to bring,
that which is hers, a final thing.
Should she meet an untimely fate,
death shall consume those made late.
Seek the scythe of times long past,
put to rest what was not last.
All eyes turn to the newly found daughter of Thanatos as the camp goes into panic over what the prophecy might mean, and what the next move is. Distrust of the new girl quickly ensues by the ominous wording held within the text and no one is sure what to do. The decision that a quest must begin is made, but it's clear that the girl needs training before she embarks.

I never watched RWBY but your CHB plot seems really cool! So your character would need training and then our character would go on a quest I'm assuming. How would the quest go? Like, what are they looking to accomplish specifically?

Okay so basically what the idea of the quest is going to be, in a way to make the prophecy less cryptic and make things make more sense, is this:
As age comes swift like a victorious win,

(Or in other words Nike and Hephaestus are being manipulated by Eris to capture the daughter of Thanatos, her powers of discord driving them to believe that the girl is going to result in the end of the world and needs to be stopped.)

(Chaos is going to be awoken on the sixth full moon and consume all life. )

(Refers to the daughter of thanatos as black is commonly associated with death, and she'll also have black hair to match.)

(The daughter of Thanatos is the key to the end of the world. The prophecy makes it sound like she's going to comit the act of treachery, but in reality it will be one of our characters trusted allies.)

(They'll make the their way to Nyx during the quest, mother of Eris. Due to Nyx's confrontational attitude fighting will likely ensue between the quest group and her.)
The daughter of death will strive to bring,
that which is hers, a final thing.
(The daughter of Thanatos will try to kill Nyx by summoning her powers over death, invoking her father's gifts to attempt to kill the goddess in the fight.)
Should she meet an untimely fate,
death shall consume those made late.
(This sounds at first like its referring to the daughter of death, but in actuality is in reference to the possible death of Nyx. If Nyx dies it will delay the quest heavily, resulting in Eris's powers influencing Thanatos to kill the group, daughter included.)
Seek the scythe of times long past,
put to rest what was not last.
(This refers to using Kronos's Scythe to wound Chaos and prevent him/it from being able to be made conscious and destroy the world.)
Putting that all together, the quest is going to be about retrieving Kronos's scythe to defeat Chaos, and in the process Eris who is the one trying to wake him/it. They have about sixth months before Eris is able to awaken Chaos without the girl on the sixth moon, but if the girl is able to be used by Eris Chaos will be woken early. Nike and Hephaestus will attempt to capture the girl to prevent that from happening. However that would only cause the destruction of the world to still happen, as the girl is needed to find the scythe. This is due to the fact that Nyx is one of the only people in existance who has knowledge as to the whereabouts of the weapon but refuses telling for fear of having it used against her. The threat of death earlier will cause her to divulge the information. Unless of course she actually does die, and then Thanatos will become a problem. Before any of that though, the girl needs to learn how to fight as no one ever tought her. She just had instances of accidentally using her power, but never formal combat training.
Of course that's just a rough idea of the flowchart of the plot, but as with roleplay everything is subject to change to suit the feel of the story/flow of the rp.

Along with that, I should specify that I don't have a preference as to whether I play prophecy girl haha. I just thought it was an awesome plot based around a daughter of Thanatos and the cool things that come with messing around the darker side of the god family tree with Chaos, Nyx, Eris, and Thanatos.
You can play the prophecy girl, I don't mind! I actually used to have a demigod who was daughter of Eris at some, where her powers were just the ability to cause chaos (Whether physically or mentally!) Though I'm not sure her form would work considering the roleplay, I've just always been fascinated with Eris. (Unless you think it could work :P)
I can makea daughter of Zeus, Apollo, whatever fits the roleplay best really. I love the plot, though. It's awesome haha
Feel free to input what demigod makes the most sense for my character to be, I have very little preference!

That could definitely work! I think the interplay between two daughters of different kinds of darkness would be spicy and make for a pretty good romance.
Also I think a daughter of Apollo could work really well, bringing light to both prophecy girl and Chaos itself. Maybe she could step forth to train the girl when no one else wanted to help her, being all sweet and whimsical like most kids of Apollo.
If we did go with the daughter of Eris, maybe she can be the one who betrays the quest! Considering her mother would likely try to use her. Of course, she'd fight back before it was too late (Since prophecy girl is gonna be her bae and all) And it would make a lot of sense for a daughter of Eris to go with a daughter of Thanatos, considering most of the camp probably wouldn't want to get too close to offspring of either gods.

Glad you like it! Yeah I think these two are going to be able to mesh really well for an awesome story. One brings death and one brings chaos. Man, they are like some dark evil duo who instead are saving the world (Probably at least). I can't wait~
Yes!! And the whole betrayal thing that my character is gonna do to your character will really bring out the trust when she decides to help the girl instead of her mom!
It'll be all like,"Aww bae you threw me into a pit to be sacrificed to a primordial god of that which is not meant to be BUT you decided that since you love me it would probably not be a good idea to end the world! Aww, so sweet~" LOL! Her mom is Not going to be happy.
In all seriousness this is going to be so good! And super emotional too!
