Sofia let out a light, breathy giggle and gave a mock curtsy (which was hard due to sitting down). "Why that would be nice, Mam'" She replied in kind and grasped onto the female's arm with her head held high. She tried to stifle her light laughter with a light press of her palm to her mouth but a few broke free.

It was a nice scenario to finally have some of the tension vanish into the air and be replaced with this sense of humor, Alphard's attempt to trying to liven up the mood was fortunately a success and she didn't regret her words even if they did seem a little cringe. The girl gave a wide grin as she turned back around to face her body forward, her back jerked to a more straightened position as she also tipped her head up,
"Now be careful M'lady, for this carriage isn't the most stable,"
Alphard lowered her tone of voice to try and imitate a gruff man, although since her vocals couldn't quite emit that sound she just gave it her best attempt. As this was going on she saw that they were about to exit the small town, hopefully there would be no regrets farther down the trail.

Sofia scoffed lightly at the female's accent to try and keep her giggles at bay. For the moment, she wanted to pretend that whatever awaited the duo out in the world wouldn't potentially kill them. She patted Alphard's arm with a murmur of, "Of course my good, 'man'" and reclined against the back of the carriage. She let her gaze travel about the area and turned to look back at the city, "I'm glad to be out of there..." She admitted
OOC: Sorry, its short and sloppy. I'm super sick atm.

Alphard's grinned shrunk into a fake gasp of anger,
"What do you mean man?"
A huff of breath slipped past her lips as she faced the other way, as she did so her hair flipped to the side as well did her jacket. Her fingers were still clenched tightly on the reins, and since her vision was moved to the side she was able to have a clear view of their carriage leaving the town, and now instead of structures she saw open plains, and instead of streets she saw trees.
"I hope we have a safe journey,"
Alphard turned back to direct her vision back onto the road that was now starting to fade and instead just become the ground, through her peripheral vision she kept the other girl's form in view, keeping an eye on everything she did.
//It's all good. ^^ I hope you get better, D: Much rest and much water

//Gallons upon Gallons of water...And some crackers -U-//
Sofia let out an undignified snort as Alphard let out a fake gasp of anger. She sobered soon after and folded her hands in her lap with a calm smile, "I hope we do too. You don't think there's any...monsters...out there do you?" She asked trying to cover up the nervous waver in her voice.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply I had suddenly gotten many English assignments

"Of course there are monsters,"
Alphard momentarily glanced to the side to indicate how immersed into the conversation she was, her hands seemed to jerk and whip upwards to encourage the horse to keep up its pace and keep on trotting down her mind's pathway. The girl thought back to when she had first come into this town, she had wounds running down her arms since she had a run in with some creature that she had been trying to avoid.
"We have to be careful,"
Or, this could be the girl just messing with the other, however the 'princess' like human wanted to pertain it.
