  • OOC: Oml, with that life hack you could rule the cereal world! Finally! The marshmallows are mine! Night! I have hecka low muse.

IC: Sofia nodded slowly her eyes sliding away from the other girl's form, she watches as people hustle by and shout at one another. With a brief sigh she looks to the food stalls her mouth quirking once more as the two walk. Sofia, being Sofia, tried to walk at the girl's side for fear of being left behind.

  • OOC: We could control people that way and harness this power for the greater good.

    ~

The girl paid quickly and left just as fast as she walked around grabbing whatever she thought they would need on the journey. Then the food stalls suddenly stopped and were replaced by stalls flourishing with clothes of all kinds from a variety of different places. She flickered her eyes over them and deemed that she should get a new outfit as well seeing as how her current one was still ripped up from the previous fight she had had before.

    "Take your pick,"

The girl started to touch at the fabric, caressing it to see whether it was worth the price it had been given, a lot of the clothes were overpriced and so she walked right past them, but overall she was just looking for something nice and cheap to be comfortable in within all situations.

  • OOC: *Destroys bus* Greater good? *Slinks away* Lol

IC: Sofia skirted around the clothing stalls, nitpicking on each shirt and pair of trousers while scoffing at anything deemed ''fancy''. She settled for a loose, overly large shirt and a pair of dark brown trousers. She quirked up her lips in slight annoyance then skulk over towards Alphard with a sigh.

"How about theses?" She asks as she holds them up for the other female to see.

  • OOC: When low muse hits it hits hard :/

    ~

Alphard turned her head to look towards the other girl who had approached her with words and clothing, she examined them quickly by running her fingers over them and checking the stitching. Although what she found only indicated that these clothes would fall apart too fast if the trail were to be long.

    "These aren't well made,"

The girl tilted her head as she looked around the area, every stall that she had passed had been trying to rip her off and that wasn't something she appreciated. Although at the very corner of the market square she spotted a young woman with clothes of the mute color, this piqued her interest and so she pointed towards the stall and waved at the other to follow her towards it.

  • OOC: I feel ya...! eVe

IC: Sofia huffed, tossing the clothes onto the stand before following after Alphard towards the stand. She looked over the clothes - not overly excited to see they were dull in color- and began to sort through them while she assumed Alphard picked out something more subtle.

"Well, then what is well made?" She grumbled and tried to throw away the feeling of genuine curiosity.

  • The girl touched at the fabric and lifted it as she gazed at the stall keeper out of the corner of her eyes,

"Good clothes are made with careful hands, which mean that the cloth should feel firm and the stitching should be straight,"

Alphard sent a quick wink towards the young lady running the stall that only could conclude in a red blush that stretched across her skin. The black haired girl leaned over the clothes and gave a smirk as she let her hair slightly fall in front of her face,

    "Your clothes look wonderful m'lady,"

Alphard spoke the compliment so smoothly you could only think that she did this often, and she did since there was nothing better for her to do. Men could be crude, and when one of them insulted a woman she would swoop in and take the prize herself that the man had lost. Sometimes she couldn't help herself from being such a stuck up person when it came to situations like this, but the women weren't complaining.

  • Sofia watched, eyes wondering between her new companion and the stall owner with narrowed eyes. She fought the strange urge to throw a fit that was beginning to crawl its way up her throat and turned to look away from the two, busying herself with watching people pass by. She gave a passing male a smile and ducked her head towards a woman who teetered by with a young child.

It seemed this place had more life than she had once previously thought... Sofia blinked in amusement when the child began to point excitedly towards a lone stall with a few custom made toys stacked tall. He waved his tiny hands gesturing towards on toy in particular that had caught his attention. It seemed, however, that the mother wasn't going to buy it as she began to drag her child away much to the child's dismay.

  • Alphard who was still leaning over the stall flirting with the stall maiden had taken a brief glance beside her to see that Sofia was dismayed about something, turning the waist slightly to look behind her she saw the main reason as to why she had the expression that she had. Briefly interrupting the conversation between herself and the maiden the girl reached into her pockets and took out several coins and handed them to the other girl,

    "Here,"

She jerked her head towards the child who was still being dragged away, although he put up quite the fight as his mother attempted to take him away without too much attention, but it was far too late now. She wondered if the other would get what she was indicating towards, but she didn't stay to watch as she turned back to continue her conversation, she hadn't done this in a while and so she was having quite the large amount of fun.

  • Sofia took the coins, flashed Alphard a slightly grateful look and took off towards the woman and her son. She approached them head tilted with a light smile on her face and gestured to the toy. "I couldn't help but notice that your son seemed interested in that toy..." She began placing a small hand upon her chest. "I was wondering if I could, perhaps, buy it for him?"

The mother looked upon Sofia with a critical gleam in her eyes, slight malice and distrust burning through them. She quirked up her mouth, stole a small glance at her son and then the toy, the nodded to Sofia. "Fine..." She grumbled in a deep, raspy voice. Perhaps she was sick...?

Sofia nodded and turned to the toy vender, her arms gesticulating as she spoke with a wide, innocent smile. "Could I have that toy, please?" The man stared her down for a moment and turned to the toy retrieving it from where it was stacked then placed it upon the stall's wooden top. He pointed to the tag that hung limply upon the toy's neck, "Twelve..." He grumbled.

Sofia nodded once more and pressed the amount of coin into his hand before gathering up the toy and turning around just barely missing the man leering at her back end. She stalked back towards the mother and son, passing him the toy. He gave a happy squeal and hugged it tight making his mother's face soften and a smile tug at her lips. She murmured a thank you and the two disappeared further into the crowd. Sofia watched for a moment in a happy daze before remembering Alphard and walked back to the stall. She slipped the left over coins back towards the other female and leaned against the stall with a smile.

  • Alphard had looked back to see how the other girl would commit to her action of wanting to help the child, this action seemed to be something that she expected from a princess of some sort, not from a girl that she had found in an alley way nearly about to be killed. This moment caused her to look away from the stall maiden that she had intensely been flirting with, all her fire seemed to vanish as she gazed upon the other. She wasn't sure as to why this sight captivated her to such an extent, but at that moment she didn't really care.

    "May I buy these,"

The girl picked out a couple clothes and gaze an apologetic smile towards the maiden as she quickly paid and walked off towards the girl that she was now supposed to be traveling with.

  • Sofia turned towards Alphard, her usually haughty expression vanishing behind a calm and rather warm smile. "Done?" She pondered aloud gesturing to the woman at the stall then the clothes held within her new companions hands. She shifted to rest a hand upon her hip, tilting her head.

OOC: Low muse, sorry about that.

  • The girl gave a comedic expression as she watched every action that came upon the other girl, she was glad that she had wanted to do such a kind act, but she would have never done if she were put in that situation.

"I am done, I just picked you whatever clothes I thought were good,"

Alphard handed the girl some more simpler dresses that were colored a light brown with white outlining, it wasn't something to be proud of, but she wanted the girl to at least have some sort of clothing that was closer to what she wore rather than something random that she would wear.

  • Sofia took the clothing and held them up examining the light brown and white dress with narrowed eyes. She felt warmth wash over her chest as she realized the dress was somewhat similar to the dress she was wearing when she had met Alphard. She ran a delicate hand across the front of it, feeling the cool fabric on the pads of her fingers. "Thank you..." She murmured turning away to hide the happy flush upon her face.

  • The girl gave a small smile that usually didn't ever come upon her visage, but in this exact moment she felt that giving at least this expression of emotion would be good for her heart. Since she never truly had the opportunities to express anything except for negative feelings that seemed to follow her around.

"It's no problem, you ready to go?"

Alphard checked her supplies and made sure that they had everything that they needed, she didn't want to get on the trail and later realize that she had somehow forgotten something. That would be the worst case scenario since by listening around she heard that the direction that they were planning on going, there were no towns nor inns that dared to touch it the deeper it went. Only if they were to cross over a mountain would they finally start to see more life.

  • Sofia nodded clothes folded neatly in her arms and pressed to her chest, "I'm ready if you are." She sniffed, her tone light but she tried to cover it up with her usual haughty tone. She half cursed the stronger of the two with slight affection. Despite knowing each other -literally- a few hours, she had managed to grow on the young noble. Like vines. Sharp vines.

Sofia turned ready to leave the marketplace and tilted her head. She knew camping would be inevitable and she prayed it wouldn't be as bad as she thought.

  • Alphard grinned as she followed up on the girl, then took a few quickened strides so that she was in front rather than the other girl, then when this was obvious through the lining of their feet the girl started to head towards a marriage and horse. She had set these aside before, she had a plan to completely leave as soon as she got her pay, but obviously there were some scenarios that prevented her from doing so right away.

"You can name the horse if you'd like, I have no preferences,"

The black haired girl raise her arms and pulled her hair up with it as well to tie it back with a thick cloth. All the supplies were thrown into the small carriage and strapped down with rope, after that she took a seat in the front where she took hold of the reigns and looked towards the other girl to wait for her response and actions as to what she would do next.

  • Sofia climbed up beside Alphard, her hands clasp in her lap and raised her head proudly. "I'll name him Stephan." She tittered straightening her back and giving Alphard a curious glance, "It's fine right?" She asked despite the stronger girl telling her she could name the horse.

    OOC: Really low muse

  • The girl gave a soft chuckle and she nodded her head while answering,

    "Of course it's fine,"

She was feeling a little nice now that they were out of the crowded market place, she had visited a lot of those during her life time, but she never enjoyed it one bit. There was always some drama happening or some fight with men that thought their masculinity was on the line if they didn't accept a fight. Alphard of course never partook in a fight that had money on the line, although that would be her answer if you were to ever ask, but overall many don't know how this girl has the amount of money she does. All these odd jobs pile up and the reward was sweet, traveling around taking odd jobs and trying to at least eat off of a plate although suddenly got bored, she now wanted something with more excitement in her life, but where she needed to look to find it she was unsure.

With the quick flick of her wrists the carriage started to trot along heading towards the north entrance of the town, since it wasn't that big of a town there shouldn't be anyone watching, but then again you never knew.

  • Sofia shifted as the carriage began to move, her hand shooting out to clasp onto the edge of the cart and the female's arm beside her. She let out a relieved breath of air and muttered under her breath about, "Looking unrefined when startled." SHe glanced sheepishly towards Alphard and released her arm with a haughty huff of air and swiveled her head so she was staring at the distance. "T-That didn't happen..." She said in a strained and embarrassed voice.

  • Alphard seemed to be chuckling quite a bit later, since another one slipped through her lips, except this time she held herself back a bit better and kept herself from bursting out into another rambunctious laughter. She held out her arm towards the other girl and aimed to poke her with her elbow wanting to grasp the other's attention,

"Want something to hold on madam?"

The girl briefly flicked her gaze over to give a smirk, her back straightened with her arm still held out awaiting an answer from the other girl.
