  • OOC: OML, I hate fights at school! One of my friends tried to break up a fight between two girls, (One was cheating on the other's boyfriend or something) and she got her nose broken and a black eye. Its crazy out there! Man, I just wanna get to class so I can look at Fanart of stuff on DeviantArt...

IC: Sofia blinked at the clothing that was thrown her way, catching it and holding it at arms length. "Slacks...?" She asked with a hint of disgust but never the less looked around the room to search for a place to dress. It seemed the bathroom would be a fine choice but one look inside and she figured she'd step in something. Ah well... She slipped inside, removing her dress and pulling on the slacks and preening her hair for a moment in the degusting, cracked mirror that hung from a loose string and rusty hook.

She came back out, dirty dress clutched in her hand and peering down at the clothes she now wore. They were rather baggy on her smaller frame, these were definitely made for someone with a stronger, more athletic frame. Taking care to place (and fold) her dress up, she placed them on a lone chair that was pressed to the far side of the room. It was rickety and old but she figured it would last for one more night. Not that she would try sitting on it... She instead moved to sit on the bed and looked to the female. "Where are you going exactly?" She asked, pale eyes gleaming with wonder.

  • OOC: I relate xD My phone has no service and my school blocked Deviant Art so that makes me sad ;-; I just resort to just doodling and listening to music. :/ Everyone always gets up to try and record the fights while I'm trying to get a fork in the cafeteria... The struggle for the less lively.

    ~

The girl watched the girl slowly come back out from the bathroom and carefully place her dress on the chair, now thinking about it she would probably ruin it if she were to borrow it. Therefore she didn't remind the girl that she had wanted to borrow it and instead reached down to pull her bag onto the bed where she started to dig inside of it. She pulled out another pair of pants that she had stolen from a rich fellow, and so the quality was quite nice. Quickly pulling those on the girl then proceeded to pull a large coat over her shoulders with no shirt inside, she instead just held it closed so that she looked more fancier to some extent.

"None of your business, just stay put,"

Alphard pointed to the girl with the squint of her eyes, hopefully she would just sit still and listen to what she told her. The door creaked loudly as she pulled it open, but didn't close it until one last look back towards the girl,

"Don't open the door for anyone, there's a lock on it so use it..."

A brief pause took over Alphard as she tried to think of what else she was supposed to say,

    "And have those sandwiches ready,"

With those final words the girl slipped out the door and down the stairs to continue her journey to receiving her money for the job she had accomplished.

  • OOC: So true! I get so tired of it but I'd get destroyed if I tried to say anything. I just keep my head low...

    IC:

Sofia sat alone, rolling her eyes long after the other female had left, "There's a lock on the door," she mocked, "use it." She sighed moving to the door and sliding the hanging chain into place and twisting the lock that sat above the door. There, all safe. She smiled down at the lock then moved to flit about the room taking in the musty place with slight awe. She had never been allowed to be in such a place and now that she was there is was astounding that anyone could stay in a place like this. She searched around the room searching for ingredients figuring she should prepare the sandwiches then find something else to entertain herself with.

It took her a few minutes to gather anything she could but when she had finally prepared the alright looking sandwiches she felt proud of herself. She had assumed sliced, almost dry turkey and some cheese would be a alright start so that's what she had made. Four sandwiches, one for her, were put on a small, semi cracked plate and placed upon the lone, crooked cupboard in the room. Now she could only wait...

  • OOC: People say I look intimidated so maybe that means they think I can fight too? xD Although I think I'm too soft hearted for that, if anyone ever swung at me I'd probably just try to dodge it to the best of my ability.

    ~

The girl slithered back on the street and started to head back towards the direction she had been going before she had to stop and help a helpless girl. Why she had done that she wasn't so sure herself, but when she saw people in danger something in her kind of wanted to help, but that was a dangerous feeling to have. This mind talk was enough to sway her from the purpose of her being on this street, but she was soon reminded of it again when she arrived at the bar. It was musty and even more horrendous than the inn she had just come from, she reached out to push at the door only to find it filled when men grinding themselves up to the poor working women.

Ignoring all the cat calls and hollers Alphard made her way to the back of the bar and into a room where a large man was hunched over a small desk, the exchange was swift as she threw a wrapped up eyeball as proof of her kill, and a small envelope was slid over to her. This was good, swift and silent was all she needed this exchange to be, but of course it had to be ruined when the man called out to her right before she was about to leave the room.

"Hey now why don't you stay and work for me sweetheart, I could pay you just as much and give you all the women you want, cause I know what you like you ****,"

"I don't need your dirty money anymore, don't look for me."

Alphard finished her response quickly before slipping through the doors and trying to power walk back onto the street, but these idiot body guards seemed to want some action.

    =(Skipping the fight scene)

As she slowly crawled back to her inn room after 3 hours the girl wasn't sure if she would feel bad if the other was still awake waiting for her. Her fingers gently lingered on the wood before lifting to give 3 knocks, the gash on her forehead hurt like a female dog and a bruise was starting to form on her shoulder. During the short fight her coat had also been ripped apart which she was pissed off most about.

A whimper like noise escaped her as she waited in front of the door which she was sure was locked, she felt like a puppy that had been kicked out and she didn't like it. She should be able to walk into this room anytime she wanted since she paid for it, it was frustrating even more since she knew it wasn't her fault the door was locked, and told the other girl to lock it...

  • OOC: I've been told I look really calm and laid back, I wish I looked scary or mean so I could ward off people.(Then again they might try and fight with me...) Hopefully no one has a ''smart'' idea and tries to fight you! That wouldn't be good...

IC: Sofia's gaze shifted from where she was staring at a small book she had found hidden in one of the cupboards of the room. Her ears ''perking'' at the sound of light knocking, while she stood and drifted towards the door. Was it safe to open? Perhaps it was someone trying to kidnap her? Maybe it was the girl returning? Sofia shifted from where she stood in front of the door and clicked the lock out of place before creaking the door open slightly. She was confused to see no-one at first but then looked down to find the other girl, battered and bruised, in front of the door.

Sofia's eyes went wide and she quickly pulled the door open, moving to stoop over and help the other woman with wide, horrified eyes. "What happened? What did you do?" She barked, her soft features drooping into a sorrowful look.

  • OOC: Sorry this reply took so long I just got back from work. ;-; I also work tomorrow so I may be a bit late tomorrow as well sorry for this T^T
Also we should trade faces then xD Maybe my Asian glare will help you and I could look more laid back and not have people think I'm scary...

    ~

Alphard widened her eyes as the other girl had a reaction that she didn't expect at all, she expected the other girl to just open the door and return to the bed as if nothing had happened. The girl slightly snickered as she was asked what she had done,

"I fought back when they tried to hump me is what,"

It wasn't entirely a lie, but it also wasn't the entire truth, Alphard raised her chin from her stopped down position to match the other's eyes with a hint of hesitation buried in them. She wasn't sure whether or not to ask for help in this situation, she had always relied on herself so this confused her to such large extents. The gash on her face dripped blood down onto the old wood, staining it until the next time the owner cleaned this inn, but she highly doubted that he ever would. She raised a hand to try and stop the bleeding and as she did her legs attempted to push her body up and into the room which she succeeded in, but not for long. The black haired girl stumbled on her feet and slumped forward towards the bed, the cushion safely catching her into its embrace. She flickered her gaze around the room to find small sandwiches sitting there looking quite appetizing seeing as how she was much too starving to be able to differentiate good food from bad food. Currently all food was a gift from a higher power to her. The urge was strong and her body was weak, but she didn't care, Alphard reached out towards the food with a huff of breath. Her eyes flickered back and forth from the girl and the sandwiches.

"Um. I may require just a tad bit of help... Please?"

Desperation tinted her voice and hopefully she hadn't created too much anger within the other girl to the point where she would deprive her of the help she needed. Although seeing as how she was worried about her it created a sense of relief deep down within her. The kindness was overbearing, and she never wanted to accept it again, but it felt nice...

  • OOC: It's fiiiine~! I totally ignored all my threads to take a nap instead Haha, a face swap would be interesting! ^^

IC: Sofia's expression lightened as she swept from the doorway (closing it with her foot) and started towards the sandwiches that set nestled upon one another. She scooped up the plate, taking it towards the injured female then skittered off to the bathroom where she grabbed a loose cloth and got it wet. She moved back to the main room and towards the bed, sitting on the edge beside the other female and dabbed at the gash on her face.

"Well, I hope they're more hurt then you are...You sure got a beating..." She mumbled as she stood again and returned to the bathroom to re-wet the cloth and remove any access blood. She rattled around in the bathroom cupboards searching for bandages and anything to prevent infection before returning, once more, to the bathroom. "Hold still..." She ordered, her haughty tone taking a slight edge as she dabbed once more at the girl's wounds then wound the bandages across her lesions.

  • OOC: Naps are the safe haven. "3 Yush let us swap faces it shall become the most glorious decision.

    ~

Alphard gave a satisfied sigh as the cold liquid dripped over the gash that had now stopped bleeding, since her arms were still in a full operational state she reached out to fold her fingers over the sandwich and take a large bite starting with the crust. Another sigh slipped through her teeth after she finished chewing, laying still so she could be treated. This was still a situation that needed to get used to, but right now she wasn't going to be complaining at all, the attention wasn't so bad, the only problem was that she couldn't let herself get used to it.

"I made sure they could never walk again,"

The girl snapped in a snarl-like tone, her brows furrowed for a moment before releasing back into a mono-toned gaze, she was too tired to be angry right now so she could save this emotion for when she was fighting once again. Another bite was taken, and then another, and another until there were only small crumbs left over on the broken plate. Because of the cracks the blankets were now covered with both maroon and brown flakes, not the best place to sleep, not as if it was before.

    "Thanks,"

This simple word was hard to spit out, but she attempted to say it in the most gratitude filled tone as she could. She attempted to move her limbs to test how sore they were then started to push herself off the bed wanting to just get into a more comfortable position to sleep. Her eyes flickered over and landed on the other to see if they agreed with her decision, after a nice meal a nice moment of sleep would be enough to have her healed enough to travel tomorrow fully.

  • OOC: *Weird battle screech* It shall be a glorious day! (Doz? Doze? How does one spell??)

IC: Sofia blinked drawing the cool cloth from the other girl's wound as she began to shift for sleep. Taking the cracked, crumb filled plate, she scurried to the small kitchen like area and dropped the plate upon the counter with a soft clink. The small noble withdrew to the bathroom soon after to tuck the cloth away before returning to check up on the girl.

"I'm glad you won that battle." Sofia said softly as she climbed into bed beside the injured woman, moving the blankets around so she was tucked in nicely with a pillow pressed beneath her head. Her pale locks splayed out around her as she stared at the ceiling and gave a light hum of contentment. "And thank you for not leaving me in that alley..." The girl began to drift off into a light doze.

  • OOC: It shall be xD You have a battle screech? I always go up to my friends and ask if they wanna hear my mating call then I just screech like a raptor. xD

    ~

Alphard gave a short sigh of relief as the blankets settled around her, she had shifted so that the corner where the blood stained was farthest away from the other girl, the last line the other spoke before drifting off also gave the black haired girl some surprise, that had been the first time that she had ever tried to save someone, and it turned out that the conclusion wasn't as bad as she thought.

"Thanks for taking care of me,"

She wasn't sure what to say, but at least this would be a response rather than her leaving the short conversation that they had cold. A light haze flew over her eyes as she attempted to sleep, it was a heavy blow as all her fatigue just dropped on her like a bomb.

//Should we time skip to morning?

  • OOC: My friend has a mating call that consists of clicking and making weird huffing sounds. She's so strange sometimes...But I adore her! XD

    IC: (Yeah, let's timeskip)

Sofia stirred to the sharp, but distant, chirp of morning doves. Her eyes slowly slid open to reveal the room and she is struck with a sudden sense of worry. 'Where am I? What hap- Oh...' The girl rolled over to look at her savior from the night before, her face looking more beat up than it seemed that night.

The girl sighed half to herself, rose from the bed and started off towards the bathroom where she stared into the cracked mirror. Her hair looked like a nest, all tangled and fluffy while some dried drool cling stubbornly to her cheek. "Gross..." Sofia muttered moving to the tap and getting her hand wet so she could remove the offending stain from her face. When she was done, and too tired to bother with her hair, she walked back into the main room and glanced around. Freedom...She was finally free... A small smile tugged at her small lips and her pale eyes began to glitter with unshed, happy tears.

  • OOC: You have cool friends man, I don't think I have any other friends that could match my 'weird' level.

    ~

Alphard was having a nice sleep, she had a comfortable position on a horrid bed that she was used to, she had a nice dream about being rich and marrying a beautiful woman, although her face was blank...

The girl jerked her eyes open and shot up into a sitting position, she had just seen a horrendous looking woman with no face, so maybe that was a nightmare rather than a good dream. The very next thing she did was to scan the room to see if anything looked different, cause if it did it may mean that someone had come in here looking to steal something, but all she saw was the other girl that she had picked up in an alley way standing there looking like a giant ball of cat hair. Although she tried to not say it aloud, but it required the concentration of a million women trying to thread needles.

    "Well good morning,"

Alphard didn't want to say the next thing that she was going to say, because then that would mean that she wouldn't be getting another bed anytime soon, and somehow that discouraged her slightly... Or to a much larger extent.

"You ready to get on the trail?"

A cringe flew across her facials briefly before settling back into a tired gaze, she pushed her feet over the edge of the bed and lifted herself up with a slight wobble, it seems that she was still sore from yesterday night, and she wasn't that surprised by it. Looking towards the bathroom the girl headed towards it and followed a similar routine that the other had followed, then something hit her immediately, they hadn't introduced each other yet... Now Alphard just felt dumb, she poked her head out of the bathroom and shot out the simple question,

"By the way, what's your name?"

  • OOC: Haha, we just go screeching up the hallways and making people uncomfortable. I have like...One ''calm'' friend. She's brutally honest and has some really sharp wit. Totally didn't snort at "Giant ball of cat hair."

IC: Sofia turned slowly to look at the other girl, a look of tired confusion crossing her face. What was her...Oh... The runaway noble scrunched up her shoulders and wrinkled her nose. "My name is Sofia Terabeth, what's yours?" She flashed the girl a light smile still a bit to tired to pull of a ''holier-than-thou'' attitude.

She ran a hand through the rats nest that she called her hair, snagging a few tangles between her fingers and letting out a sharp hiss. Sofia figured she'd have to brush her hair, though she was wary of the comb and brush that rested upon the sink in the bathroom. Who knew who used it last?

  • OOC: Dude you gotta let me into your squad D: -Grandpa voice- It sounds to 'lit', is what those young-lings say. I have different groups of friends, and only two super close friends so I'm all over the place. It's confusing sometimes ;-;

    ~

Alphard was slightly taken aback by the light smile that was sent towards her direction, she wasn't used to this expression from this girl, but it wasn't unappealing at all, in fact it looked rather nice. Probably guessing that her attitude would return sometime soon, the black haired girl stepped out of the bathroom and walked towards the edge of the bed once more to pick up her bag, only to start rummaging through it. She brought her hands out of the torn up bag holding a well kept brush, she stretched her arm towards the other with a relieved smile, she had had a nice rest and so she was feeling much better.

"Use this, your hair looks like it could eat somebody,"

Alphard herself just needed to sweep her fingers through her thick locks and it settled back down to how it was yesterday, and the day before. She had slept in the clothes she had come back to the inn with, and she didn't want to change, so right after this girl finished with her hair she would head out and start to head north, randomly, hoping to found some other town quickly.

  • OOC: As my weird friend would say and do, "Yaas, join the dark ssssquad!" then squish whomever into a group hug. I have a few friends in the ''popular'' group but we don't talk overly often. It's good to have friends in different - OML...What's it called? - Clicks? Cliques? LOL (I got a call from my friend who said (and I quote) "Them peoplz got dat Swaggity, yo. *Insert screech and other sounds here*" Then hung up. Like... She didn't even let me screech back man! ;U;)

IC: Sofia let out a small giggle and took the brush which she turned over in her hands as if examining a rare artifact. No bugs, no weird broken bristles... Great! She place the brush to her nest hair and began to smooth it down, slowly running the brush from the top of her head and downwards. Once her hair was in as good condition as she could make it she turned to the other female and held the brush out, "Thanks..." She said sleep still hanging heavily upon her. She rubbed her eyes with her right hand's small knuckles and stretched, "Where are we going today?"

Sofia figured it would be best if she stuck near the other female for the duration of her adventure, lest she be cornered by another drunken scoundrel. Or at least, that's what she planned. The young, runaway noble prayed that the girl would allow her to follow after her. She seemed strong and could keep Sofia out of danger far more easily than if the girl wondered about herself (seeing as Sofia -bad luck*cough*- would break her arm by trying to lift a small pebble...).

  • OOC: You seem to have freaking cool friends "3 Although many different cliques mean more drama that I need to be a witness to which can be irksome sometimes. This is when I wish I had a turtle shell to just withdraw into ;-; (I should someday call my cousin and just shout random things then hang up) The confusion will be... Beautiful...
I'm currently trying to plan a time to play tennis with friends and it's going horribly because it's getting complicated for no reason T^T

    ~

Alphard took back the brush and threw it into her pack, she quickly slung it over her shoulder and walked over to the door,

"We're going wherever North takes us,"

The girl opened the door to find an empty hallway staring back at her, this was good since the morning wouldn't be started with drama. Before stepping she looked behind her to point towards the dress that the girl had taken off last night,

"Are you sure you want to wear that, it makes you look rich and burglars love rich people. I could just buy you another outfit,"

Alphard felt nice today for once and so she decided to put it to use, she had just gotten paid and so she was ready to buy food for the road and whatever else was needed.

  • OOC: I love with uncomplicated stuff turns complicated! It's annoyingly funny! (I would pay for a turtle shell...With cushions inside! I'd never want to leave it!)

IC: Sofia glanced at her dress, which she took into her arms before turning to Alphard. "I...Suppose it would be better to wear something else, huh?" She pondered as she quirked up her lips in thought. She certainly didn't want to stick out anymore than she already did and if it prevented her family from finding her then so be it.

She turned to the female, a slightly haughty smile on her face and nodded. "Yes, I demand better clothes." She said sticking her nose into the air with a sniff.

  • OOC: And also in the turtle shell will be a gaming setup with a flat screen tv, an all you can eat buffet, and a bunch of dolls. I formally invite you to hang in my sweet turtle shell.

    ~

The girl a defeated sigh as she watched the sudden change in persona from the other girl, she knew that it was probably going to happen sooner or later, but she had wanted it to be later rather than soon. Giving a roll of her eyes Alphard jerked her head towards and door to indicate that she wanted to be on her way then walked out and towards the stairs. She only glanced back once in a while to make sure that she was being followed by the other.

    "Whatever you say princess,"

Alphard had said this in a joking matter, but somehow it seemed to fitting for the other girl, then as they continued to walk she spoke up once again,

"My name is Alphard, and I threw away my last name a long time ago... Also your name seems familiar..."

The girl raised an eyebrow and she quickly and silently exchanged words with the man who was running the counter, she then continued on a path towards the entrance of the inn looking to go towards the market place.

  • OOC: I accept your invitation and in return bring cereal. You can never have too much cereal. (oUo)

IC: The short noble felt worry creep over her heart and race through her veins as she tangled her fingers together and gave a slight tilt of her head, "Do I? I'm sure its just a....common name..." She said trying to play it off but ended rather awkwardly. She ignored the man at the counter, taking to staying silent and near Alphard's side.

"May I ask why you threw away your last name? Oh! Um-er...Is it a sore spot...?" She asked forgetting she needed to tread rather lightly when it came to talks about background and names. After all, if the girl, Alphard, asked what her background was she'd probably freak out and run. That wouldn't bode well for her since the town was new territory for her and she wasn't very good at making allies. Or, at least, not friendly allies.

  • OOC: Yush you should bring lucky charms, I learned in physics that if you shake the box side to side continuously all the marshmallows come to the top... Life hacks man. And I'll bring cup ramen.
I may have to sleep now... I shall reply to you tomorrow if that's alright "3
    ~

Alphard gave thought to how she would answer the question before landing on a decision,

"I won't ask about yours and vice versa,"

The girl maybe thought that she could share her story someday if the other gained her full trust, but so far seeing as how nobody had succeeded before she didn't bother lingering on that idea at all. After a while of walking the bustling market square came into view, she saw a bunch of different stalls hanging around selling a variety of things, the first place the girl went up to was the food stand that sold meat. Next was vegetables. Then fruit. She had been paid handsomely and she was glad that she had found the job, even if it was a bit rough going through the process of receiving it.
