  • (Muse A), born soft and fragile to a high class family, is told time and time again, "Remove the imperfections, Gain power, Repeat the cycle..." But (Muse A) doesn't want any of that. She wants freedom, love, adventure... Something she knows she can't have so long as she stays with her overly dramatic and dull family. Finally, at the break of dawn, she slips from her family's estate and makes her way to the large city of Newcrest, a town filled with scoundrels, vandals, thieves, and lowlifes. It is there that she meets...

Short Plot: (Muse A) flees from her home to a new town where she encounters a few problems which, in turn, leads to the foretold meeting of (Muse A) and (Muse B). Their friendship and love blossoms for one another when they decide to travel to a new kingdom where they'll be free to love one another.

  • Alphard left her town because of the forceful occupation she needed to carry out to feed her family, although her main reason for her work became irrelevant when she returned home to blood covered walls and a knife dripping with her bloodline. The only logical thing that she could think of to do next was quitting her job and leaving for another town searching for another reason to live.

  • Sofia, body shivering as she stared up in mild worry and feigned disinterest, shot the man a sharp glare. He hadn't attacked her per say, but he leered at her, often spewing about how he could rob her blind if she turned even an inch away from him. She was naïve, and wasn't quite sure what to do and instead attempted to remain disinterested. "Could you...?" She drawled pushing up her shoulders and jutting out her chin. "I think you're only a braggart, not even fit to join crime rings..." This infuriated the man and he drew back as if about to strike her but stopped mid way to gaze down the side of the alley. A shadow was all that could be seen from Sofia's limited view but she figured this was either an accomplice or another evil dweller...

OOC: Hope this helps kick it off! :)

  • OOC: That's perfect ^^

Alphard had been able to create a reputation in this town disregarding the fact that she had only been staying here for a month. The previous job that she had back in her home town sent her on assassinations for money, the only way she could work without having to reveal her identity. It's hard to not use a skill that you've unknowingly developed, so when people had come up to her with a job she accepted it out of habit. Later concluding in her cussing herself out for being such an idiot, the only way she could escape from this was to move to another town, but for how much longer would she be wandering aimlessly.

A commotion could be heard from an alley way as she made her way back from a swift kill, it was much too easy, but she was getting paid for it so there wasn't too much of a problem. Alphard's hair was tied up and a piece of cloth was wrapped around her face to cover it, the rest of her clothing were slacks and a loose shirt that only beggars would wear, but she was better off than them.

Peering around the corner she saw two figures, one was obviously larger than the other and was about to strike, since she knew no context to this scene she kicked at a rock to create some noise, forcing the larger frame to stop mid-action. Taking a couple steps forward, Alphard saw that it was a large man with his arm raised aiming to strike at a smaller woman, now this wasn't good at all.

"Why don't you swing your sad physique towards someone closer to your standards? Scum."

The words were spit out as she quickened her steps towards the man, the knife that was already covered in blood already ready to swing upwards towards the man's throat, there was no reason for him to be alive in this already dreadful town.

  • The large man sneered down at the woman who stood with her knife poised at his neck. "Oi, go back to mindin' yer own business and we'll forget everything here, eh?" He narrowed his eyes but a strike of fear spread through his veins like lightening and he found himself trying to take a step back. The man knew he'd have to try his hand at playing the pity card so he drew up his eyebrows and puckered his bottom lip as he gazed ''forlornly'' down at the woman. His left arm stretched out to grasp at the fallen, startled girl he had cornered and he dragged her from where she was slumped.

Sofia let out a hiss of pain as the man's hand enclosed her smaller arm and pulled harshly towards his form. "Let...Go...!" She shouted, face scrunched up in both pain and anger as she jerked her arm away form him. Unfortunately, he held fast and she was forced to his side where he tucked her under his arm and waved a hand dismissive. Sofia looked to the girl with the dangerous glow in her eyes and reached out a hand. "Help! Help me! Please!" She begged.

The man, growing tired of the small girl's struggle clasped a hand around her mouth an gave the woman a sheepish smile. "Sorry, sorry...You see, my....Wife, yeah, wife...Is rather fiesta...And she's very keen on...er-" He floundered, eyes skirting the area and hands twitching against their hold on the girl. Sofia let out a muffled scoff from behind the man's hand as she turned her sharp, fearful gaze to the woman.

OOC: Sorry, this is a bit everywhere. I'm kinda tired at the moment. ^^'

  • OOC: It's quite alright "3 I hope you have time to get a good nap 0.0

    ~

Alphard gave a scoff, the huff of breath that escaped her lips forming around her now bared teeth, this scene was absolutely outrageous to her and her buttons have been pushed. She didn't care if there was an off set chance that this man was telling the truth and he really was married to this girl who might really be mentally out. The only thing that she focused on was the ill treatment and that was never alright with her in any situation. The story didn't matter and she didn't even need to read aloud her thoughts for it was already conveyed on her face as it scrunched up horribly as a glare found itself onto her visage.

"Well, I don't care what your 'Wife' is like,"

The girl emphasized her words as she twisted her knife around her fingers with ease, this extension of her was now itching for some more violence. A moment of hesitation broke over her as she wondered whether or not killing this man would be a good idea, she could just mutilate him enough so that he may never walk again. The girl's lips suddenly burst open into a hearty laughter as she pointed the blade in the man's direction,

"She's hot so I'll take her,"

She had heard this line being spoken before and she wanted to try it at least before her death, it did sound a bit 'cringey', but she wasn't thinking that at the moment. Her legs shot forward and her arm lunged upwards into a diagonal swing, aiming to start from his hip to his throat to his face. It could become a scar to be proud of, but it would hurt like crazy until it started to fade into his skin. Alphard's arm that wasn't being used as a sword reached outwards in an attempt to catch the maiden if her attack were to work, hopefully she could just drop her off somewhere and be on her way to her next destination that she didn't even know.

  • OOC: OML, I had an amazing nap! ^^

IC: Sofia gasped, a small hand flying up to push the stunned male away. He almost stumbled, eyes looking horrified as the other woman shot towards him before his eyes trailed to the small female that had skittered from his once tight hold. "I-UGH!" The man shouted as the blade cut up along his hip and towards his neck, blood sputtering out from the open wound as his now free hands went up to try and protect himself. He let out a strained groan and leaned heavily onto the wall as horrific pain welled up from his now wounded front. He held out a shaking hand, one finger pointed towards his attacker's face as his mouth opened as if to say something. Instead, thick beads of blood trailed from his nose and mouth and the fresh wound that cut from his hip to his face made him croak out a cry of pain instead.

The man, with his remaining strength, attempted to toddle off with his heavily injured form resting against the hard wood of the shop next door. Sofia, afraid but very inclined to send the man one last scathing insult, opened her mouth. "Serves you right, you-you...!" She floundered for a moment, "Pig!" Her smile morphed into a victorious smile before turning her attention to her savior. "And YOU-" She said jabbing a thin finger towards her savior, "Thanks for saving me, but I'm afraid I won't be going anywhere with YOU." Sofia said emphasizing her words with a hard jut of her chin and rolling her eyes to look down her nose at the other woman. Yes, Sofia...Insult the scary woman who saved you. Smart, real smart. Her thoughts hissed at her as she looked slightly worried about what the woman may do to her now.

  • OOC: That is good "3 I just came back home after running around in the rain... I just wanted to go buy a birthday present and I ended up soaked to the bone.

    ~

Alphard gave a satisfied smirk as she watched the man inch away with a horrid looking wound, if he didn't go to get the checked up on he would die from blood loss. This moment of simple pleasure was snapped to an end when a higher pitched voice directed itself towards her now slumped form that was now relaxing after the quick flow of adrenaline. She wasn't sure what this girl was so afraid of, she was just planning on dropping her off at her home and leaving for the next town over.

"I don't have to take you anywhere, you can try to walk yourself back home alone then,"

The girl shrugged her shoulders as she pulled out a white cloth from her pocket to start wiping the knife, she pointed the tip downwards and gently touched at the metal in a swiping motion. Her blade was an important part of her, it was a family antique, and it was priceless, every single time she made a kill she always finished it with a victory clean of her knife. A gentle spa treatment for the deadly yet fragile weapon that nobody could get anywhere in the world... Except from her.

Alphard re-sheathed her knife into the sheath that she had strapped onto her right shoulder. Since she was left handed she didn't need it on her left, it confused many of her victims when they tried to fight back, but all her movements were opposite than from what they expected. The girl turned her back on the blonde and started to make her way towards the entrance of the alley way, she never started to care for strangers before and she wouldn't start now.

    "Good luck surviving,"

  • ooc: Oh no! I hope your present didn't get soaked, and try not to get sick! :)

IC: Sofia watched the girl with a small sense of morbid interest, what had gotten the girl to this point? Was killing and maiming that easy? She was rattled from her thoughts upon hearing the other's steps start to fade away and the lone call of ''good luck'' as she went. Standing as quickly as her shaky legs would let her, she scrambled after the girl moving to clutch at her arm with her wide, green eyes peering up at the female.

"W-Wait! You...You can't just leave! I-" The girl's breath caught in her throat as she turned her gaze to look down at the trail of blood the man left then back to the girl. "What if he has friends? What if they come back? I demand you escort me!" She sniffed drawing her form up in an attempt to be as regal as she could with her tangled hair, torn tunic, and dirt splattered, pale skin. She had tilted her head in an indignant fashion, eyes flashing in protest as she slipped into step beside the girl not willing to take ''no'' for an answer. She certainly wasn't about to wait around in a dark, damp alley that no doubt had other ne'er-do-wells lingering in the darkness waiting for a helpless maiden to be left in the alley.

Sofia shivered, that would not be her. She would not have the same sad, and disastrous fate befall her. "So..." The girl chirped still trying to maintain her haughty voice, "Where exactly are we going?"

  • OOC: I shall clench my teeth and force forward. I made sure the present was safe rather than me xD I think I dropped my phone three times trying to run to my car... With no case. Oh dear. Same to you though you must get mucho sleep, although that seems ironic coming from me.

    ~

An eyebrow shot upwards as she was jerked back by a small force, the girl's lips peeled back into a scowl as she forced herself to keep put and not punch the other right in the face.

"What do you mean 'where are we going' go to your home kid,"

Alphard tipped her frame so that it was directed away from the blonde girl, she didn't want anything to do with this person that she had saved just because she had some adrenaline left from her previous job. The streets had become emptier with the time passing by, maybe that was why nobody had stopped to help this girl before. Two emotions tugged at her in opposite directions, one part of her wanted to just make a run for it and never look back as she had been doing her whole life, or she could actually help someone for once and receive a feeling of satisfaction...

A burst of laughter exploded from her throat as the girl clutched at her now pained stomach, the contractions of her intense laughter brought her down to her knees as she lifted up her right hand to wipe at the tears that had formed at the corners of her eyes.

"Listen, where's your home, I'll take you there,"

Alphard spoke after her best attempt of composing herself, the directness of her voice now switched to a mono toned application, she had had her fun during that small moment of her talking to herself, there was now no more reasons for her to be 'jolly'. She was slightly irked at this girl's disgusting personality, but she wasn't complaining if she could somehow get her parents to repay her in some way for saving their daughter's life.

  • OOC: Gotta pull out that super strength! Haha, I get how you feel. Its freezing rain over here and its crazy slippery, cold, and nasty. I watched like four people (hopefully not hurt) slip. ^^; Woah, I need to start going to sleep earlier (or start taking more naps.) lol

IC: Sofia watched the female crumple to the floor then burst out laughing, her face switching between confusion and annoyance. "I can't go home!" The pale female pleaded, her hand moving to slide through her short, blonde locks. She stooped to the other female's height and frowned at her with as much ferocity as her small, round face could muster. "It's boring there! They want to tie me up and force me to be a doll! You....I-" She clenched her small fist and forced it to be pressed against her other hand as if pleading.

Sofia's expression relaxed when an idea popped into her mind, now, it wasn't the best idea but it was something. She slumped her shoulders, arms going limp at her sides before she collapsed beside the woman and gave her a piteous look. "I can't go back..." She whined, her arms bending to cover her as she went into a fetal position. "I'll do anything...Please...!" She begged.

  • OOC: Aye it started to rain a lot over here as well, out of nowhere and seeing as how I'm not a fan of thunder I'm not faring well at all.
    Also I tend to nap more than I sleep, since tumblr always has such wonderful fanart for me I can't resist wasting away my time looking at them T^T I'm also in school so when this class ends I may not be able to type up replies for a couples hours ;-;

    ~

Alphard was able to silence herself by clapping her palm against her mouth, this instant giving her a chance to finally examine this girl that was now slumped on the ground in front of her. The dark haired girl rolled over onto her behind and laid her arms on her knees to support them while she thought about what she should do. The wasn't bad looking at all which could be a plus in her favor, but she was still holding a certainly rotten personality, almost spoiled to the point where it made her think of whether or not she was from royalty. 'But what would she be doing here,' Alphard questioned the presence of this girl now, it might not be safe taking her around, but the company might be nice.

"Alright, how about you don't go back... And instead you can just serve me,"

Alphard pushed upwards and regained balance on her feet, it felt nice looking down on this girl who acted as if she was so much higher than her before, her act of plea made her uncomfortable to some extent, but she wouldn't let that faze her too much.

"We can find a place to rest then we head out at dawn,"

The girl reached back to pull a hood over her face, she didn't want to get recognized and asked to do another job, she still hadn't received her pay for the one she had just done. She would have to somehow slip out and accomplish that while the girl slept, as she thought of that she was starting to regret this decision for this stranger could become such a hassle.

  • OOC: I'm not a fan of thunder, either...Makes me jump and gives me a heck ton of anxiety. Man, hope school goes well for you! I'm in Study-Hall at the moment.

IC: The girl smiled to herself in victory before pushing herself to her feet and brushed loose bits of mud and muck from her dress. She wasn't very certain about the serving part, but if this strange woman was willing to take her along she would press for an argument. Swaying her arms she bent them to lean against her shoulder and clutched her hands together, "Oh! You won't regret this! I promise!" She tittered, her haughty expression melting away momentarily.

Sofia moved to walk next to the girl but took a small step back as she tilted her head slightly to look up at the woman. She watched as she slid a hood over her face but didn't say anything figuring she was trying to keep her face hidden. She didn't know why but she figured if she asked she'd be sent back to the alley with that man (who was no doubt bleeding still). She clutched the front of her dress pulling it up to reveal her high-heeled feet and skittered after the female.

"I'll have you know, I don't cook or clean. I can, however, bake and negotiate." Sofia sniffed with a haughty tone once again haunting her voice but it was lighter than before. Far more relaxed now that she knew she could (hopefully) rely upon this new female. She was rather pleasant to look at but she'd never admit that. Her upbringing, however, refuted admitting things aloud that could be used against her.

  • OOC: Playing tennis in the blistering cold is not something I am liking, I am now bundled up in multiple sweaters and couldn't be happier.
    I only have an off-period every other day ;-;

    ~

The dark haired girl rolled her eyes momentarily before focusing back onto the street, she had passed by a nice inn on the way to the small bar who was owned by the man that had hired her for this hit job. It felt slightly painful to walk away from that direction, but for now it was something that couldn't be helped. Alphard took gentle steps so as to not bring any attention to herself, the girl who she hoped was trailing behind her astonished her in many ways. Why she had such fancy clothes. Why she acted like a spoiled brat. Why she didn't know how to cook or clean in a male dominated world. These questions kept swirling around in her head as she kept up her consistent pace.

"How can you bake, but not cook. I need food tonight and I expect you to not be a freeloader madam."

The words were spit out in frustration, she hadn't eaten all day and after having to be so active in a small amount of time forced her stomach to protest. If this girl turned out to be too useless she could just dump her at the nearest bar and be on her way, hopefully another fine soul such as herself would come along to pick her up. Although the fact that this girl could negotiate may be a fine skill, but that one skill may not be good enough in the open world. It would only save her from moments where she didn't want to talk to anybody nor argue at all, it just wasn't something she enjoyed to any extent at all.

"I'll be gone for a while so you'll have to deal with being by yourself. As soon as we get the room I'm leaving so when I'm back I'll be more than starving,"

Alphard emphasized most of her statement as she pulled up to the inn, from the outside it looked horrendous, but hopefully the inside was the opposite. Her arm reached out towards the door to swing it open, but before she did which was basically pausing their arrangement she looked towards the girl as if she was looking for a response. This response would now determine whether or not the two would enter the inn, or if this girl would need to be dropped off somewhere and ditched.

  • OOC: Naw, that sucks! Stay warm but don't overheat! (Winter's weird like that) I don't play any sports, almost played hockey, but... I'm a wimp when its cold so I chickened out heck'a hard. LOL

IC: Sofia noticed the girl had stopped from opening the door and tilted her head to answer her previous statement, "Well, my parents don't know how to cook either! I had to have my family's serv- I-er, friends help me learn." The small girl said as she began to fidget nervously and picked at the wet collar of her dress. "I can make bread...And maybe some sandwiches..." She murmured half to herself in thought while placing a hand against her mouth delicately and looking off to the side. "Maybe..."

Sofia figured she could try and scrounge up something seeing as she was about to share a house with this strange woman for a short time and figured it would be best not to freeload. Just in case the woman decided to throw her to the wolves. She moved her gaze to look upon the door then trailed her eyes up the other female's arm before letting her gaze fall upon her face. She sat in silence, arms moving to be held across her chest as an annoyed and haughty look spread across her face like a wildfire. "Well?" Sofia urged pushing herself to be taller and resting on the balls of her feet.

    (Low muse)

  • OOC: The weather is so random where I am sometimes it amazes me... Also hockey is a hard sport I feel like 0.0 I can barely ice skate, much less swiveling around making shots. I think I just ate a rotten blueberry, it taste horrendous...

    ~

Alphard was still baffled by this girl, she wasn't sure how she could be so demanding when she was the one that could be forced back into the streets with nothing. Women scared her sometimes, especially since she was now put into a position where she had no idea of how to deal with.

"Have a sandwich ready for me when I get back,"

The girl pushed open the doors and took long strides over to the counter where they were selling alcohol, she didn't know that this was an inn and a bar together at once, I guess that's how they did things lately. Her hand tapped at the counter before nodding towards the man who was running the show,

"I need two rooms with one bed or one room with two beds whatever you have,"

The man took one look towards the crowded main floor then to the list that was supposedly supposed to keep track of the rooms, but instead looked like a chicken had crapped all over it. He gruffed slightly before peering back up towards Alphard and the girl behind her, hopefully he wouldn't think that neither of them were suspicious in any way.

"I have one room with a master bed, that's the only offer I can give you,"

Alphard quickly tossed the money onto the counter before quickening her steps towards the stairs that led up to the countless rooms. She felt as if she was mocked by him, just because they were both women didn't mean one bed was enough, then again she may have just been over thinking everything, but at that moment Alphard couldn't think any deeper into it.

  • OOC: When food goes bad and hides with the fresh food... That's like the story of my life. Some girls in my class play hockey, and a fight broke out and they started fighting each other with hockey sticks. I'm terrified. ^^;

IC: Sofia let out a harsh cough as she stared in shocked annoyance at the man behind the counter. "One room?" She hissed as she followed after the mysterious woman, a frown painted across her face. "We have to share, not only a room, but a bed? Well..." She paused for thought, "At least its a master bed!" A bliss filled smile soon overtook her frown and she swooned.

"I missed big beds!" Sofia mused with a fond smile. "I require soft pillows and only the finest blankets." She sniffed as if explaining some type of art as she put a skip in her step.

  • OOC: Dang Hockey girls sound tough 0.0 I see a lot of fights at my school and it's usually between two girls fighting over something. Once someone had to be pulled out of it with a bloody nose... Please I just want to quietly slither past ;-;

    ~

The girl threw open the door and started to analyze it with an intense stare, she just decided that ignoring the other girl would be her best course of action if she were to survive through the night and to the next day. She slowly walked over to the master bed that graced the room, it was the only feature that seemed like it cost money, everything else was made out of cheap wood that was already starting to fall apart. Although she wan't complaining since she was used to this type of material constantly surrounding her.

"Then you can take the half of the bed away from the door,"

Luckily this room didn't have a window, if there was one then she would feel too vulnerable since she was one of the assassins that killed multiple people in this small town, there was a definite chance that someone could come after her. Alphard slowly traveled over to her called half of the bed and started to pull off her loose clothing from her back, she was sweating now that her adrenaline had fully settled down. The bag that was hidden beneath her clothes was thrown to the side, soon to be followed by the fabric. Clasping her hands together she silently stretched upwards, her stomach straining from the stretch and her feet leaning onto the heels. A long sigh followed through her lips as she released her strained position, she dreaded having to go out again, but she couldn't quite help it. She knew that she needed to enter a small bar probably filled with dirty perverts and insane men so she needed to put on her 'A' game if she were to want to come out without a fight.

Turning to look at the girl Alphard stretched out her hand towards her and demanded a request,

"Give me your dress, you can wear my slacks,"

She pulled the clothes she had tossed aside off the ground and threw into the girl's direction hoping she would catch it, she needed a nice outfit to go get her money and if she needed it for a more simpler approach, then she would do it.
