  • Hollond flashed him a friendly smile and went pull open the Throne Room's doors, "Oh, seems we'll have to drop off the human first." He mused as the human scampered towards them with a meek, 'sorry' and exited the room. Hollond followed waving the prince after him as he made his way after the human towards their room. Once the human had been successfully dropped off the short arl turned to the prince and waved a hand. "This way, ser."

    OOC: Low muse!

  • Lennox shifted in the corner as the phone was being explained. "Unnatural..." She whispered under her breath to nobody. She couldn't understand why Aradace was so interested. She half expected it to do something she had seen one human item once do before. Explode into flame and smoke, terrorizing and hurting surrounding victims. That caused her to almost jump in between the two and throw the phone out the castle window. Before she was about to act, her muscles tense, the human was ushered away.

Lennox watched as the human left along side Hollond. She wondered if she should follow along to make sure the Prince would be alright at the marketplace. She decided that he would be safe. All Arls respected him and wished for his safety- plus the human would be tucked away in his room. She moved closer to Zygax whom was already beside her.

"Shall we go see what the warriors are up to, sir?" She asked politely, using a term of power that they both shared. Lennox believed they were close friends but in the presence of the royals no nicknames were to be used. "Perhaps they need some help training."

  • Dean walked with Holland while he escorted the human to it's chambers, eyeing the silly creature as they went. It seem to act just like a child would. He seemed pleased once it had vanished back into it's room. He then turned his attention back to Holland, giving a faint smile as he followed him away.

  • Hollond headed straight to the market, often turning around to say something to a passing Arl or make a comment to Dean who walked with him. Once they had arrived in the slightly cramped and heavily decorated plaza like area, Hollond gestured to the prince. "Anywhere you'd like to go?" He asked turning away to glance around, blue eyes skimming the crowd of Arls who mingled among the shops.

  • He spun around in a small circle, looking around at the sea of heads around them. He could smell something wonderful in the air.... Sweetbread! One of his favorite treat. He glanced at Holland and smile," You smell it too? Let's go and get some pastries."

  • Zygax looked at Aradace for a moment, who seemed very entranced again in the papers. He would be fine by himself, he enjoyed studying things. He'd probably take it to a scholar to have it transcribed, or do it himself. "I suppose we should make sure they are actually even training." The warriors were all fine Arls, and better fighters, but sometimes they were lazy. Very unlike Zygax himself. If he wasn't by his brother's side, he was training or patrolling. "Goodbye, Daar." He bowed slightly before straightening back up and motioning for Lennox to lead the way.

Aradace didn't look up from the papers, as he mumbled something like, "I am more your brother than your daar."

  • "Ah yes.. The human I have heard so much about. Only rumors.. I did not think it true."
Nao looked more at the human. She had never really met a human before; and like the human towards arls, was interested in its study. However, for the time being, she said or did nothing, choosing to not act upon her interest.
"It appears I came just a bit too late, what with everyone leaving."
That's what you get for staying up too late once more.. Aester thought to herself, gripping her books slightly harder.

  • Aradace heard a new voice, and peeked up from his papers. It was Nao! He hadn't even seen her enter, as he had been lost in the excitement of the human 'phone'. "Nao! Please, take a look at this!" He beckoned with a hand, then went back to studying the papers as he waited for the Arl to approach.

  • Lennox gave Zygax a look as he motioned for her to lead. He seemed uptight today and was radiating odd vibes. Lennox exited the door and passed by Nao; Lennox gave a smile before continuing down the hallway. She walked in tandem with her fellow warrior for a couple minutes in complete silence before a thought crossed her mind. "Oh sir, some of the training materials have been tampered with-" she paused for a short awkward laugh, "I will have to find a few extra dummies this week..." Her eyes trained on the ground in front of her as she walked. It was obvious that she knew who had broken the three obliterated dummies. Lennox bit her tongue. Should I tell him about the feeling I'm getting? That something bad is bound to happen...? She looked deep in thought as they walked.

  • Zygax looked confused for a moment, then realized she had probably broken them. She was always so excited when she was fighting, about to fight, or even when she was pretending to fight. "Ah, no matter." He looked at her, knowing her expression as a thoughtful one. "Is everything fine with you?" For once, his usually forceful and powerful tone was soft and caring, upon realizing that he nervously cleared his throat. He was good at being a warrior, not at being a ladykiller.

  • Lennox thought for a moment. She decided on sharing her thoughts. "Have you felt any weird feelings recently...?" She asked gingerly, not to be made fun of. "I'm not sure if it's my mind messing with me- there has been something in the air." She flicked her wrists angrily, confident as she spoke- always one to talk with her hands. Lennox hated being personal with her work companion- but in her mind this situation could affect the whole. She was not used to his soft tone. Her usual contact with Zygax consisted of training and protecting the land which he had always shown himself as commanding and powerful. As they spoke they neared the training grounds.

  • Zygax shrugged his broad shoulders, "I don't trust the human creature, other than that I'm at ease. As much as I can be anyway." He looked around, maybe something was going to happen, but he hadn't felt that feeling of danger. "I-" He cut himself off, "we can handle anything." He clenched a fist, that was held in front of him, in a powerful motion, symbolically crushing an enemy.

He could hear the sounds of warriors sparring. It was a sound he had grown to like, but he made no comment on it. He was more curious about her feeling that something would happen.

  • Nao chuckled, noticing the Daar's excitement.
"What is this?" The arl asked, stepping up and next to the king.
"Something from the human I presume? I could hear you from down the hall you were so loud."
A soft smile rested on her lips as she looked down at what he was holding. His attitude always lightened up her day.

  • Hollond smiled at the prince's excitement and nodded moving to follow him to the stand where the pastries were being set out to cool. Sweetbread, tarts, pies, and cookies were set out and arranged on a display for all to see while they cooled. Hollond held up a hand to catch the baker's attention, his eyes lighting up a bit. "Can we have two pieces of Sweetbread?" He asked. The baker nodded his head, turning away to prepare and pieces of sweetbread in colored paper. The baker turned to hand them to Hollond and Dean with a smile and an gave a warm smile to the prince.

  • He smiled, giving off an almost childlike glee as he bit into the cinnamon and sugar covered pastry bread. It would have been obvious to anyone that the man had a love for sweet things. Dean glanced at holland, smiling happily. " It's been a long time since I've had this. Thank you... um..." His face turned slight pink in embarrassment as he tried to remember the maid's name," I-I'm terribly sorry... but I seemed to have forgotten your name..."

  • Aradace's face showed signs of embarrassment, but then he chuckled. "I am used to being loud when I speak, so sometimes I become carried away. My apologies." He waved off his own apology, "This. This is incredible. The human study his. I have never seen the Arls from a human point of view, so it is enlightening to experience this." He held out the papers for her to take, so Nao could look at them more closely.

  • "No need to apologize." she told Aradace, "It is common to experience such enthusiasm when discovering something new."
Taking the papers, the arl looked over them for a moment, able to quickly 'read' the page.
"The munthrek's study is very intriguing." Aester admitted, "Perhaps later I can visit them and have them properly decipher it for future records? There is definitely some benefit in the human's views, and what it could do for us as a whole.."
Nao's eyes shone with an eager brightness at her words, looking over the papers again.
"However, there are still the day's duties to fulfill. Once all the important matters are dealt with, then we can have time to spend on the munthrek's antics."

  • Aradace stood, stretching his long, even for an Arl, legs while he could, since no one was around. People expected a Daar to live in his throne, it seemed! He sighed at looked down at his advisor. "What should I do first?" He wondered if anyone had made him an itinerary for that day, but figured he was capable enough to wing it by now. He had been Daar longer than some younger Arls had been alive, after all. He had winged it successfully many times.

  • Lennox let herself smile, her lips strained with stress. We. Why do I like the sound of that? "I-I just can't shake this feeling. I know it may sound ridiculous- presumable so, I need to figure out what this shift of energy is from...." She let herself rant, cutting herself off before she delved into her own feelings. This is for everyone's safety. Not my own personal therapy session. She pushed her hair to one side, revealing her neck and the back of her ear adorned with a constellation tattoo.

"If you're at ease I should try to relax. This worrying is doing me no good- I can't focus during sparing matches." Lennox decided, huffing angrily at her own outburst. She looked farther ahead and saw the sparring matches going on between the warriors. A real smile graced her lips. She was proud.

  • Zygax cracked a sly grin, as the entered the training ground. "You are losing your touch, byou say?" He started taking off pieces of his decorative armor he usually wore to events were he stood before a group of nobles as Aradace's right hand and tossed them carelessly to the ground. Today, he wore it because Aradace liked him to just in case someone came into the throne room while they were chatting. It made him seem more professional, he supposed. He hated it, as it was utterly useless other than for visuals. "I challenge you to a sparring match, I can't have one of the best shiviri becoming dull." he said, as he struggled to take off the chest piece.
