  • Randi listened to Genji and Jenessa talking. As suitable as this place was, this powerful archmage could easily crush any opponents should they need him.

Zelda's peace was inturrupted. The raspy voice she knew too well called on another channel. "I'm headed somewhere north in Asia, meet me there. Things just got harder for us." "Depends how you see it...This could be the chance of getting them wiped out." "Doubtful...I've seen things. Our mission is starting to misbehave. Don't have much time." "How much?" "...Four months. At the most." Zelda stood up and started walking at a powering pace.

Nei looked around with narrowed eyes. He hated this place. No clue where he was. Nothing to do but keep padding along until he found something interesting. Seemed like a creepy forest. His fur shivered, but he quickly reassured himself. He was the strongest Lion Laguz of all time. He could kill anyone he wanted.

  • Faten stands, and picks up her bag, continuing her walk. Hopefully she'll find a safe place to rest. Preferably close enough to people to give her a food supply, but far enough away to keep her hidden. It will be hard to avoid capture if someone sees her for what she is.

  • "I have the location of the rebel base. I need your authorization to assemble a strike force and raid them now. We may end the Resistance within the next 24 hours, or at least shatter any organization they have left." He said, taking a seat and staring aimlessly towards the door. He would take any fellow Reins in the base with him and attempt to raid the hideout anyhow, but with her authority he could rally a larger force and not face consequences if he failed.

  • Zelda took a moment, stopping. She thought about his words, about the bigger picture. Without much hesitation, she replied, "go ahead; how many people do you need to help you?" She kept walking, until vanishing.

The door opened, with Thane entering. At first the drell assassin said nothing, until sitting down at a table, hands together in his typical meditation method. "You are tense," he said without looking over.

"Who the f** is there?" Jack loaded a gun, hearing movement. Biotic aura crackled around her arms. Pissed as always, the heavily tatooted but lightly dressed subject had dealt with enough problems since getting here, and the last thing she needed was another living soul here to give her life hell.

  • Faten gasps, hearing someone call out in an aggressive sounding voice, and immediately jumps into a tree, narrowing her eyes as she sees the woman not far off. She seems dangerous, definitely not prey that Faten can handle. She notes the crackling of electricity, and hisses nervously, preparing to run if seen.

  • Faten swallows nervously. "I am not." She almost whispers, her soft, accented voice having a slight shake to it. She's afraid, but perhaps it's time she started seeking allies.

This is a bad situation to be alone in. She drops down from the tree, landing without a sound, and waits for Jack's next move.

  • "I can assemble the portal-goers I need from here, but I need you to provide me with any man-power from the Reins, armed soldiers would be very useful. If you will provide them for me, have them ready at the coordinates I am sending you as soon as possible," Vader shut down communications after sending her the information, looking up to Thane as he took a seat.

"I'm doing as well as I can. The Resistance is to be crushed soon, and I need the best men for the job. Assemble anyone else available here, Thane. Have Neuxi prepare to transport us in the shuttle."

  • Jack leered, "you're not gonna fight?" She was still on edge, but her hands were less shaky, and therefore less likely to go on some sort of rampage. She was scared, but fear also meant anger in her mind.

"Understood," Thane, even through his almost monotone expressions, was troubled, but he kept his professional composure as he stood up and started his way.

  • She tilts her head. "No. Unless you do, of course. I'm rather tired of people trying to kill me." She deadpans. She looks the other woman over curiously, noting her tattoos.

It's a thing. Given that all djinni in their natural form have similar tattoos, Faten can't help but associate the markings with family.

"I only came because I heard you shouting."

  • "Guess we're in the same boat," Jack crossed her arms, "I'm being hunted here just as bad as back in space..." She looked over defensively, watching the woman's gaze. "Staring at my tattoos and scars? Something up?"

  • She looks back up at her, vibrant blue eyes looking into hers curiously. "Not really. I simply think they are beautiful." She murmurs. "And… you are from space? That is interesting." Her accent and the way she speaks indicates that English probably isn't her first language.

It might seem strange to see Faten act this way, given that she looks to be younger than twenty, and yet she seems almost at ease with this situation.

  • "You really think so?" Jack said in bewilderment and suspicious, "yea, I've had hell of a time in space. You're the first one I've heard appreciate them other than cultists." She relaxed into a normal chatty position, and walked closer, "most people would be scared to be around me. You're different somehow."

  • "Call me Jack," She met her hand. She smirked a bit, eyes a tad friendlier. It was frightening out here, and as much as Jack had problems trusting people, Faten seemed alright. "What have you been out doing here?"

  • She seems a bit nervous at that. "I just… needed to get away from people. The village I was in got attacked. The house I was in got thrown at people… so yeah. Probably safer out here than in large crowds. Harder to hunt me down."

  • She shakes her head. "Hell no. Firstly, I didn't know who was fighting or why, and secondly, I don't even know where I am. What business do I have with this place's politics?" She sighs, shrugging. "If I'm going to fight, it'll be when I know what I'm fighting for."
