She nodded her head lightly and then snuggled into him, shutting her eyes. She was tired it felt like she hadn't stepped in years(even though she's kind of been asleep for a couple hundred years. But pshh who's counting)

Jax held her near, looking down at her. She didn't remember anything, did she? How odd... Maybe there were stories he culd learn when he got back to that town. If he got back, that is.
-
The next morning arrived at a crawl. The storm had died down a considerable amount, the amount of snow falling was now currently a light flurry. Just because the weather was light now didn't mean it could change to worse later.
Jakiya slept soundly in an unbreakable deep sleep, thanks to the unwavering warmth that is.
But as much as her sleep was deep, it was also blank, dreamless.
She could consciously tell that she was no longer awake. That being she couldn't force her eyes open anylonger.
And it terrified because she felt like she was on the edge of nothingness agian, the only thing grounding her from falling into the abyss was the warmth. It held her to reality. -
bvg;Jax slowly woke up, blinking blearily in the bright light. He hated snow; it made everything brighter than it was and caused the world to look strange. FOr a moment he had forgotten where he was and what happened, but the blinding snow only reminded him, as did the weight in his arms. A numb feeling had settled in his legs and he stretched as best he could, shifting his weight in an attempt to get blood back to his toes. The girl was still sleeping in his arms, and he searched her face. How could it be so troubled yet peaceful? Furrowing his brow, the man gently brushed his thumb over her cheek. It was still soft despite the bitter cold that she had experienced.
-
Jakiyas eyes flick open at the touch, only to be met with another pair looking back at her. It was startling and she kind of freaked. She did her best to push away, but she didn't really have the strength to put up much of a fight if it came to that. She'd forced herself out of his arms and onto floor of the cave still partly tangled in the blanket. "Who-What ha-Where" it all came out at once. She could vaguely remember the event of the previous night. Her head throbbed, as if she had hit it over and over again. Her movements were uncoordinated and everything was all sipnny like. She felt as if she could pass out any second.
-
JAx tightened his grip on her, "Hey, hey, you're okay." He said, staring at her before gently releasing her so she could get away from him, "You're fine." The man stared at her and he held out his hand, "You're okay. I'm Jax, remember? You asked last night; I'm Jax. Don't be afraid, I'm not gonna hurt you." she looked disoriented and dazed, propting him to slowly take her hand and draw her near once more, "Come over here and warm us. It's okay."
-
She didn't pull away, she felt she'd be in the wrong if she did. "I-I -I don't -I Can't Remember A-Anything" her breathing became sharp and quick, the more she tried to remember, the more her head hurt. Was she supposed to know how this guy was? Were that friends? Were they lovers? No. She was sure she had never seen him before in her life. Then why was he here? Why was she here? Where even was here!
-
Jax stared at her, "Sh, it's okay. Hey, look at me. Look at me." He said softly, "It's gonna be okay. You don't need to remember right now, okay? It's gona be okay." He gently held her, watching her face. She couldn't emember anything? Well, there goes his questions... "Sh. D you want meto tel you who I am and why I'm here with you?" He asked softly.
-
She nodded.
His words were comforting and calmings. She felt her breathing even out.
She wanted to believe him, That everything was truly Okay, but she couldn't. She just didn't want to trust someone that she didn't know. Especially now that she couldn't remember. For all she knew he could have been the one to do this to her. All she could do is sit and listen to him. And if something didn't add up, she know. But how would she know if something didn't add up? -
Watching her for a moment, JAx finally spoke, "My name is Jax Benton. I work for a man in the villiage below this mountain. I was supposed to travel through the mountains when I had to take shelter from a storm. I began to explore this cave when I heard somone, something, whispering to me. Telling me to find someone, and... Well, I ended up getting shoved down this passage and found an ice crystal. IN it was you." He said softly, "That's how I found you. I brought you up here to keep you warm. I don't know how long you've been in here."
-
She looked at him with a puzzled look.
Voice? Ice Crystal? Storm?
What does that even mean.
Was this guy not right in the head or something?
From what Jakiya could pick up was the even though she couldn't tell if he was crazy, or if everything he was saying was all perfectly normal, she didn't trust him, couldn't trust him. She had no clue how to tell if someone was lying, or telling the truth. And because of that, she couldn't stay. She had to figure things out.
"Umm, thanks and all but- uhh-I-umm-Have To-uhh-Should-umm. Yeah.."
And with that so awfully clear message given, she stood up(wobbly) and started to walk away.
Her feet made little "Pit Pat" noises as she somewhat walked on the smooth and slick floor.
She looked down. Her feet were bare?
That's weird? How will I walk in the snow? Wait, I'm missing something else too.
Her body was mostly bare as well.
There was some type of dirtied and torn fabric draped over her. Must have been the remnants of an ancient dress, but she didn't know that.
She also didn't know to be ashamed at her lack of coverings either. Even though nothing unmentionable was showing, the amount of skin to be seen was enough to make anyone in there right mind blush.
Wait what's this?
Her arm was covered with some sort of ink. It swirled around in unique patterns, like it was a chain. Infact her whole left side was covered in similar markings.
As she was inspecting the side of her hand with ink, a freezing gust of air blew through the cave from the opening. "Argg!" she stumbled back. -
"HEy, you can't go out there." Jax aimedto catch her arm, frowning, "You're half naked and you'll freeze to death." He frowned at her, having stood up, before the wind made her stumble back. Almost instinctively he had his arms around her, holding her against his chest. Most women he delt with who stumbled were drunk or getting to that point. He had to catch them far too many times before... "Just wait here, we'll get you to the villiage, and you can figure stuff out, okay?" I asked.
-
"Okay?" She paused for a moment not sure what to say and started fiddling with her hands.
Wait, the inky stuff.
"Ughh, hey. What's this?" she held her arm out in front of her, more in the light.(Sorry I was gone for a bit there, I got busy)
