  • With this whole site transfer thing, I've been kind of stress. I've lost a lot of Rp(that's like idk, a gazillion a hours of work lost!), and to top it off it says I've only made like one or two post!
    *Sobs*
Oh Well, if i'm a newbie again, I guess I'll make the most of it.
(Also I see tags are back, Which is awesome!)

    Any-Who
I was thinking I wanted to do a romance RP, I mean, i've never done one before and I think it will be a great way to build onto my writing skills.
    Because I'm A Newbie...
    *Cough-Cough*
    .....

    Back on topic!
Sooooooo let me give you a quick lay of the land for what I was thinking!
    Your character would be-
    Wait Wait Wait-
I should just tell you right now I have a really bad habit of spelling "Character" as "Charter" sometimes. Don't hate me-

    Let me try this again.

You charater(not charter) would be a wander, a lone wolf type. He-
(yes He, sorry but I don't swing the other way. Not dishing on anyone, that's just the way I roll... Don't hate me.)
    He is a guildless mage-
(but seriously don't hate me, I don't like it when people are mad at me)
He is a guild less mage, that wanders from town to town to find work. One day he takes a job that ends with him getting himself trapped in a half frozen mountain range during a blizzard. He has no choice but to seek refuge in an ice cave he blindly stumbled upon. Day quickly turns to night and he decides that if he's going to be stuck in some cave for the next 12+ hours that he's going to make some kind of use of all his free time. Mr. wander over here starts wandering all around the cave. There's nothing unusual, beside the fact that the whole cave is made of ice. But for some reason he has a feeling in his gut that there's something more to this cave.
Disappointed at hitting another dead end he starts to head back to the entrance where his stuff is.
But the cave had other ideas(spooky right?)
A gust of air blows past him, as if someone had just ran quickly right beside him.
    But no one was there...
"Find Her-" a whisper arose from another odd shaped tunnel in the cave.
He was hesitant at first looking down the long, dark, and steep tunnel. But he really didn't have a choice in the matter because another strong gust of air pushed him in.
"Find!" it said, a different voice this time but still in a whisper.
As he traveled down farther and farther down into the tunnel the voices multiplied and they said things like-
    "Find!"
    "Find Her!"
    "Quickly!"
    "Help Her!"
    "Warmth!"
Then as quickly as the voices had started, they stopped.
The tunnel opened up into a large room. A first glance it looks no different from the rest of the cave. Except-
THERE'S A HUGE ICE CRYSTAL WITH A GIRL FROZEN IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.
Her clothes are shredded, as if she had been in some kind of battle, but, not a scratch on her.
There were also weapons frozen in the ice with her, which was kind of odd, but not as odd as a girl frozen in ice in the middle of nowhere.
The mountains were so hostile nowadays, with their brutal weather and savage beasts, he was sure that he had been the only one up there in years.
He had No Clue who she was, how she got here, or why she was frozen in ice.

So that's my quick little into. My character is the girl frozen in ice(obviously) and yours is the guy(obviously). I really don't have any restrictions on how you make him. Just make me a quick form so I can know what i'm dealing with. Character Image, About, Personality, Magic, Skills, Body Markings and what not, and anything else you want to add. Oh yeah, And a Name. A Name would be nice.
Also I would like for your character to be 16+ but like not older than 18. So like 16-18 is what i'm trying to say.
I really don't have any rules other than the norm, you know, the "Keep it clean, no profanity in every other line, try to post more than one sentence" stuff.
    Other then that, have fun.

My from? *Sigh* I guess that's fair.

But first let me explain something. After she is freed from the ice, she won't have any memory of her life before. So with that under standing, you may continue.

  • Awsome! I also think it's cute how a big tough guy opens up to kids!

Anyways, If you want to start off with him entering the opening and see Jakiya frozen in the ice feel free.

  • He was cold and he was bruised; that blasted wind with the entire 'find her' thing had sent him reeling down an icy path where he only stopped rolling when he hit a landing. Then he stood, and slipped down another cave system as the stupid voices continued to tell him to 'find' and something about 'warmth'. Warmth. Yeah, that would happen if he would stop being interrupted and could actually make his hand turn to fire. It was a cheap parlor trick but at a time like this, he'd settle for anything.

Jax looked around as he rubbed his shoulder, rolling it a bit to help his still joint before looking around. Another cave, one he probably wouldn't be able to escape, not with how steep the path had been.

At this point, he was wondering if he had been sent down there to die. However, there had been nothing his employer had divulged about a cave, so if it was a set up, it wasn't a very good one. The man finally decided that it was time to be warm and breathed into his hands, feeling them beginning to heat up and then a spark ignite. The warmth was more than soothing, and he was more than glad that the flames casted an eerie light through the cavern. There was nothing there worth his while, was there?

The man sighed and grumbled to himself, looking around as he started deeper into the cavern before... In front of him was a large, unnatural piece of ice. He got closer to it and rubbed his forearm against it to unfog it, wondering if there was anything there before...

"Arg" He shot backwards, falling on his already bruised keester, and extinguished his flames. That had been a face. That was a woman in the ice!

For a moment, all he did was stare before igniting hi hands again and moving closer. A near naked woman, frozen, with weapons around her. The man frowned and estinguished one hand, placing it on the ice. Was this the 'her' he was supposed to find?

  • For over 400 hundred years I've waited.
But to be fair, that's such a short time for a dragon.
    Not for a human though.
    I'm sorry my child.
I'm sorry that I've kept you, prisoner, here.
But it was the only way you could keep living.
I've kept my promise at least, I didn't leave you.
Even if it's just my soul now...
    I didn't leave you.
    But-
I think you are ready now.
    You don't need me anymore.
    This person,
    He's the one,
    I can sense it...

When he frees you, I'll be gone.

You don't have to worry about me, my child.
You won't remember me after all.
In a way, it was cruel of me to take your memories.
But it'd be too selfish of me if I let you keep them.
This way you can start over.
You won't have to know pain.

It's time for me to go now,
    Don't cry my child.
    Smile.
I want that to be the last thing I see.

I Love You, My Sweet Jakiya.

Magic circles appeared on the ice, only a moment after the male had touched it.
They glowed red with heat that grew more intense every second.
    The Ice began to crack.
First a large crack, that was only on the outside. Crumbling it's shell.
Then the inside of the cryslay too began to crack and crumble.
With a violent explosion of ice particles finer than snow, the crystal was gone. Leaving only the girl behind.
She floated there for a minute, before falling to the ground, body limp like a ragdoll.

  • Jax furrowed his brow as he saw the red magic flowing around the ice, looking up as it began to crack as well. He kept his hand on the ice before looking up at the woman trapped. How long was she here? How long? His hand glowed a bit with his own magic and he waited for the woman to fall, ready to catch her in a moment's notice. Who was she? What was her name?

(Okay so I like edited that last post 80 time, they was it was worded really bugged me. Sooo Sorry)

  • Ooc:
    You're good. I just didn't see that.

    IC:
Jax shielded his face as the ice exploded, finally looking up to see the girl was floating. He moved to catch her when she fell, holding her with narrowed eyes. She was so cold... He could feel his body heating up and he gently carried her towards the path he had taken to get this far.

  • Cold...
That was the first thing she felt.
To her, that's all the world was.
    Cold and Darkness.
    She was scared.

    She Knew Nothing.
    Thought Nothing.

    Was Nothing...

    Until she felt the warmth.
    It embraced her.
    She felt safe.
    There wasn't nothing anymore.

  • Jax didn't know if the girl was alive at this point. He carefully carried her up the ice, his feet melting the ice underfoot and giving him just enough footholds as he walked. His body continued to grow warm and he gently shifted the female in his arms, her head resting against his chest now. Who in the world would leave a girl in ice/ Who in the world had the ability to keep a girl alive while being frozen? He frowned a bit as he thought, glancing down t the figure in his arms. Hed need to wrap her up to keep her warm when he got to his things.

  • As her body warmed her senses began to return.
She could hear the soft crunching noises every few moments, and the soft movement of air as whatever she was up against expanded and contracted.
    Her world grew a little.
And for some reason, she wasn't scared, she felt safe.

  • JAx glanced down at the girl, watching her. She was waking up? What that what was happening? The man shifted her as he finally got to the first set of icey walls, managing to find his way through the maze and then get to his gear. FIrst thing he did was get a blanket, wraping it aroundthe girl and holding her gently still as he let his heat soak through the blanket and into her chilled bones.

  • The crunching noises stopped. Only the soft sound of the air remain. Something else had stopped too. All was still now.
It took a moment longer after she was able to feel her whole self again. Her eyes opened and for a moment sight was ailen. Just shapes and colors. Processing that what she was seeing was a face, took a little longer.
A person? Yes that's it. She was seeing a person. She was a person too, a girl. And this was a person that was a guy... She guessed.
    But Who?

  • The man leaned his head against the ice, closing his eyes. He kept the girl in his arms near to keep her warm but didn't move aside from that... At least, until he felt movement in his arms. He looked down at her to see her eyes were open, staring at his face, "Hey." Jax said softly, watching her quietly.

  • He spoke? She didn't know why that was so surprising. Maybe it was because she forgot there were such things as words. Before she could even try to prosses anything again she heard another voice. It was her own. "Who-" she didn't know what she was trying to say. Who are you? Or Who am I? either way, they were both relevant questions. Her voice was probably barely audible, but that should have been a problem with how quiet everything was.

  • She could speak. Jax watched her quietly, assuming he was asking who he was, "I'm JAx Benton. Who are you?" He answered softly, shifting her in his arms so she could continue to warm up, "How did you get here?" Did she even remember anything/ she could have been asleep for who knows how long, trapped in that ice with no one there to free her until he came along. What if he shouldn't have freed her? What if she was there for a reason....

  • "I-"
Wait, who was she? Did she even know?
    Tear filled her eyes.
She felt lost, she knew that there were things she should know. She knew who to "Know" them. But she couldn't. It was like everything was there she just couldn't get to it.
