  • "Does anyone want to join my hunting patrol?" Lionwhisker asked. Fuzzyfur waited.

  • I need a mentor

  • Pinpaw pushed himself up with his one good front leg. Although he was crippled, he was getting pretty good at hunting, even though he still had trouble fighting. "I'm going to help make sure our freshkill stays stocked up." he decided out loud, no use wallowing in his own grief. He also hated how some cats were acting. Some seemed rather angry at Puddlestar's memory. Like that one who snarled.

  • Nodding at Fadingmoon he continued "Will both Rueheart and Azure go with you? If so I guess I can keep things going here" He wasn't the kind of cat to get jealous over something like that. "I will organize a guard to keep things going here, you'll have nothing to worry about" Oh but if the anti-clans found out they were leaderless. Nightlight tried not to think about it and blinked briefly.

  • Abracadabra.

As soon as Abra saw him, he made a mad dash for him, tripping, once again, over his large paws. Once he got close enough, he leapt, squealing in his mind, but giggling outloud, "Nighty!"

His jump was aimed for Nightlight's shoulders, or around his stomach, to tackle him to the ground. Abra wasn't as big as a warrior, so his plans probably wouldn't go as planned, but he didn't know that. Why ruin the little guy's fun?

  • Even if he wasn't as big as a warrior he certainly had enough force from that jump to knock the unsuspecting Nightlight over. When Abra was on top of him he opened his eyes and looked at the apprentice aged kit with wide eyes. Seriously wild-cats were strong. Embarrassment at stacking it infront of Fadingmoon made his face go red but it was undetectable underneath his black fur "Abra! hey! Gently he tried to push the young ocelot off and stand up. Quickly he looked back at Fadingmoon his ears lowered in a sheepish expression.

  • Twigpaw raised her head. Her eyes were slightly red. She padded to the hunting patrol. "I'll come with you." She meowed, her vice dead.

  • Whitemoon sighed. She felt too guilty to do anything. She stood by the trees and thought about today.

  • Lionwhisker nodded. "Okay then. Lets go," he padded towards the entrance. Fuzzyfur followed.

  • Abracadabra.

Well, hey! The plan actually worked. He landed on top of Nightlight, tail waving high in the air, looking down at his friend with a large smile, oblivious to the fact that he had just tackled a full grown warrior in front of the soon-to-be leader, Fadingmoon.

Abracadabra could tell his friend was embarressed, so when he made a move to get the ocelot cub off of him, Abra rolled off, laying on his back for just a few seconds, then getting up onto his paws. He swayed just a bit, making it look as if he was high, but then caught himself and grinned up at Nightlight. "Hiiiiii, Nighty!", he giggled, wagging his tail slowly, much like a dog.

"Oh, hi, Fadingmoon.", he added, dipping his head low to the leader, a sort of sheepish grin on his face as well.

  • Twigpaw spotted a mouse. She stalked near, and pounced. She caught it, but almost missed.

  • Azure nodded tofadingmoon, aware that this was her first task as deputy. Protecting their new leader all the way to the moonstone. With her heart racing in her chest, Azure rose to her feet, and padded out to get ready for the journey. She was unsure of what to tell the clan, and how to keep them organized during their absence. She would leave that to Fadingmoon for now.
