• [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— emi had been tasked to give a gift to her favorite clanmate. for the itty bitty otter, getting a gift was already hard enough, but to choose her favorite clanmate? that was like telling her not to breathe and trying to pick who she would save: herself or her best friend. everyone in riverclan was of so much value to the little orphan, seeing as they had saved her from dying an unheroic death. sure, being left by your mum by the riverbank was dramatic, but she didn't risk her life to help anyone while she was dying. emi couldn't live with that fact. well, of course, she could have, but it would just make her very upset. however, the little river otter wasn't focused on how she nearly died unheroically. she was fixated on choosing her favorite clanmate. what if everyone in riverclan was pretty much her favorite? emi's brain started to hurt.

"who is my utmost favorite clanmate?" emi asked no one in particular. she had half of her little body submerged in the winter-cooled sand and was simply just gazing out into the waters. for such a tiny character, kali had tasked her with such a large, brain-wracking difficulty. however, as she was breathing in the frigid winter air, (there must of been something magical about the riverclan breezes) emi had an idea. hurriedly, she scampered out of her sand blanket and towards the middle of the camp.if she couldn't choose one person to give something nice to, she'd give the entire clan something nice. kali didn't say she had to give a materialized gift, so emi thought out of the box and decided to give something that would hopefully cheer up everyone's day. the baby otter sat up on her hind feet and gave riverclan her best announcement voice.

"attention my only and favorite clan," emi was missing the 'mate' part of clanmate, but that was the whole point. she was trying to be creative and being uniquely herself. however, while she keeps telling herself that, we all know emi just loves to be a furball of adorableness. "i'm going to be gifting the whole of riverclan compliments! line up and prepare to be really happy after this!" emi also loved to be really weird, too. i guess that's just how baby otters rolled.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; width: 400px;] she had not wanted to prove herself to the clan so early in her life, so she had just waited on the weekly tasks. apparently emivanglesi had took the liberty of asking kali for one. kali was a spectacular female, she was very nice to her just like emi had been. the white kitsune humbly waddled over and sat down, her red pupils staring at the ground. she was actually very insecure about her looks and she thought she was so weird and clumsy. what could the little otter possibly see in her? "c-can i have a compliment?" rams asked nonetheless, although quietly and sheepishly.

she was trying to be prepared for either the worst or the best. if she said something that made her really happy, how would she react? jump up and down? no, no. she was too shy for that. wouldn't want to make a fool of herself in just the few days she were here. oops, she had forgotten her manners. "oh, p-please?"[/color

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— first up, ramsey creux. ever since rams had hosted the meet and greet, emivanglesi had taken more interest in the kitsune. she wasn't sure if it was just because rams seemed like such a sweet character or that ramsey's apearance irked her curiousity, but she could already predict that she and ramsey could be really close friends. "well ramsey," emi started, rubbing her little hands together for effect. "you're kind, adorably clumsy, unique, and i love that i get lost in counting how many tails you have!" emivanglesi saw more 'ramsey' everywhere around riverclan, and having the attention span of a squirrel, often got distracted by trying to count how many tails ramsey had. she wasn't sure if her compliments were really compliments, but she hoped they would make rams feel a bit better about herself. "and i think we would be really good friends because you're very intelligent and pretty and nice to me."

neptune approached the small otter curiously, tail curling and uncurling slowly. "erm, hello! we haven't known each other long at all, but i'd like to hear something nice about myself.." the tom said cautiously, brilliant blue eyes curiously searching the other's face. since the cat was new, he most likely would be more shy and cautious around his new clanmates, leading up to when he becomes comfortable.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— next came neptune, a cat she hadn't seen before but was interested in getting to know. emivanglesi offered the shy cat a friendly smile as she tried to think of a compliment for him. since she didn't know him very well, there wasn't much that came to mind, but emi was a natural at improv and finally thought of something. resting her chin on her little hands, the little otter hesitated before saying: "well, since you came up to me, i think you are very friendly and that we would be good friends in time. and, for being in riverclan, i think you must be an awesome individual."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-width: 0px; width: 430px; font-size: 12px; font-family: Georgia;]Whoa, Emi was giving out free compliments? Ivylee just had to be here for this; she couldn't help it. The little Samoyed loved to spread cheer and happiness to others, and seeing someone else do the same made her squeal with delight. With excitement surging through her veins, the walking puffball hurried over, smiling brightly toward Emi as she jumped up and down. She couldn't wait to hear what other compliments the little otter would be handing out! "Ooh, ooh, may I have one?"

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Kali can hardly contain her happiness. Where'd she given Emi a task originally meant to lift a single person's spirits, here she was turning into something so much larger. The alabaster canine beams as she follows her sister, glancing upon the young orphan with a large smile.
"I'll take one, please," she sounds just as warm as she looks, too.
• [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;]That was thoughtful of the little otter, despite it being a weekly task. Because in all honesty she didn't have to do it. Walking over he allowed his gaze to find the little female and he lowered his head a bit to speak to her. Do you mind giving me a compliment as well? Hopefully not because he sure did feel like he needed one sometimes. Flicking the tip of his tail from one side to the other he lifted his head back up to regain his normal posture.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— Whoa, the leader was wanting a compliment from her? Or, more specifically, the leader was wanting a compliment from an itty bitty baby otter? Emi was being overwhelmed with the respect and gratitude and happiness that was just being passed around all four of them at the moment. She'd have to take a breather later. Who knew giving out compliments was such a task? Perhaps not for any grown creature, but for a baby otter, all of these emotions and auras were going to give her a cold. Or a headache, since she was sure you couldn't get a cold from being happy.

"Well, Miss Lee, I think you have a really grand personality and that it's really cool how you're so enthusiastic about a bunch of things and that you're the leader of this giant clan but you're still really nice! Oh, I'm sorry Miss Lee, but I feel like I'm rambling because there are so many things that are amazing about your personality and you're just a really cool Samoyed too!" Emi was running out of breath as she said all of this, as a baby otter she forgot how to breathe when talking. Maybe, since Ivylee was the leader of Riverclan, the child was putting her on some sort of pedestal. However, pedestal or not, Emi was being genuine when she was exclaiming on how amazing Ivylee was as a character. After catching her breath for a few moments (of which she maintained the seemingly everlasting 'goodness' ambiance and joy with a large smile), Emi turned to the two other people who approached for their compliments.

"Well, Kali, I really do thank you for tasking me with gifts. I hope you don't mind that I decided to give more than one gift for my weekly task. I really love your personality, too. It awes me how much power that your kindness can have and how you have such a sweet and warm heart for everyone in Riverclan." Emi was being pretty lengthy in her compliments, but there was so much good that she could see as being just a child. Even the grumpiest of Riverclanners still had a bit of amazing in them in the little otter's eyes.

Turning to face Giovanni, a character she hadn't heard or seen much of, Emi had to pause before she gave her compliment. It was the same situation as the one with Neptune, where she had to really see the good in the individual. "Well Giovanni, I think you're pretty cool for being in Riverclan. And, as I don't know you too well, I can only say that being a friendly person and coming over here to chat is such an amazing trait to have."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 350px; font-family: arial; text-transform: lowercase; font-size: 12px; color: none; text-align: justify;]

Neptune couldn't help but chuckle at the small otter's response, even though they had hardly spoken even ten words to each other. "I hope we become good friends as well! Yes, riverclan seems pretty awesome so far." he said in response to emi, gaze warming.

After the return from hell and his issues with his memories, Cade was in need of some positivity. "I don't know if you could manage one for me, but I'd like a compliment if possible." the galaxy pelted clouded leopard said softly as he padded over and took a seat among the others.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— emi offered neptune a small smile before her short attention span was quickly redirected towards cade, a galaxy-pelted leopard who was beginning to entrance the small baby otter. she was always a sucker for all things astrology, so when this leopard with literal stars on him arrived, she could not help herself but ogle. she seemed to be forgetting about her compliments when she scampered up to the leopard and held out her paw to touch one of the stars on his coat. "i'm touching stars!" she whisper-yelled to herself, her wide, brown eyes encaptivated by the glimmering and shining galaxy that she was currently having her itty bitty paw on. "i really like your coat." that was it for cade, as emi could not tear her attention away from the pretty specks on his fur. poor cade, whilst everyone had these long compliments, all he got was a simple one that talked about his fur colour and all of it's funny little white dots and constellations.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px solid white; width: 450px; text-align: left; height: auto; font-size: 20pt; text-shadow:2px 2px 2px #000000; color: #9370db; font-family: georgia; line-height: 90%]cade winzor darling harbringer!

He'd take it. Cade did find his pelt to be rather captivating. He was glad it could be admired by this little scrap of cuteness. "Thanks. Do you - do you want a lift? The ones on my back and shoulder tend to be larger in size." the amnesiac demon offered tentatively, trying to appease Emi while also redeeming himself from previous actions.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— Larger stars? The ones she was playing with at the moment were already the size of her paw (which was itty bitty, so there wasn't much to ogle at) but she would be seeing ones that were bigger? Emi couldn't believe her ears when he offered to give her a piggy back ride. Imagine the pictures she could draw by connecting those stars. At her short height, she wasn't able to see the ones on his shoulders yet. She could only imagine stars and nebulas that were the size of her face. But those might not be even the largest, since her head was pretty considerably small. "Yeah! I want to see more stars!" The baby river otter felt like that would really be the only time she said that phrase during the daytime, but she didn't mind as long as these stars were big. She still couldn't imagine that she was touching stars.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width:400px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt; line-height:13px;]the baby otter was sweet. he listened to her speak, blue eyes focused on the tiny little creature. so much love in her heart, had it been anyone but a little kid, floral would've been tempted to say something sarcastic, and maybe throw up. but instead, it filled him with a little hope. if this otter could do it, so could floral, right?

padding towards the otter and setting his ukulele down next to him, floral smiled awkwardly at her. "i'd rather exchange compliments, is that okay?" the cat asked, scuffling his feet before continuing on. "the way you talk about stars, it's really lovely. it smells like the sea, when it comes out of your mouth. and you have a gift for finding the good in people, just from what i've heard over here so far." shutting his mouth and watching the otter, floral shrugged. "i'm not much of a good compliment giver, i'm afraid. "

If she climbed up his muzzle and forehead she would have a straight shot to his shoulders and back. Plus it would be easy than scaling his legs and shoulders considering she was quite petite in stature. "Be careful climbing up. And try not to squish me." Cade said teasingly, a soft smile tugging at his maw. Where was this sudden warmth coming from? Perhaps the old Cade was playing more of a role than returning Cade had previously imagined?

"I know I'm a little late to the party but do you think I could get a compliment?" Mae asked as she moved forward, settling down beside no one in particular, her golden eyes flickering over the little lady in front of her. She appreciated Emi because her personality was always so.. happy and cheerful, at least to her. And she always seemed so eager to do things and, unlike most children, she enjoyed stargazing, and you couldn't find many children who wanted to do that. Smiling softly at the little girl, the husky settled more comfortably and just watched her quietly.

She feels warm due to the compliments Emi had given her. "Thank you so much, Emi," the Head Riverguard goes on to say brightly.

    eep rushed

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 400px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: trebuchet ms; font-size: 7pt; MARGIN-TOP: -5PX;]—— Emi was a short creature, so it took quite a bit of effort to crawl her way up the back of Cade. She could have taken an easy route up over his snout, but in the rush to touch stars, she forgot about simplicity. During her hike up, her little figure often slid down his fur due to her lack of climbing skills. When she did arrive at her destination, though, she was pleased with her result. Sprawled on to his back was an armada of brightly shining stars and nebulas floating around in a galactic explosion of non-pyroclastic colour. She paused, sitting just between his scapulas, just admiring the earth's ceiling stuffed onto the back of this leopard. Emivanglesi did notice out of her corner of her brown oculars that another Riverclanner was lining up for her compliments. She couldn't let Sylmae down, could she now? "Sylmae, I think you're really pretty and that you're a lucky individual to be the deputy of Riverclan and marry this star leopard."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border-width: 0px; width: 430px; font-size: 12px; font-family: Georgia;]Ivylee was maybe a little too fond of the compliments that she had been given, so much that she leapt in the air joyfully, bouncing up and down on her blue colored paws. Emi really liked her enthusiasm, and nice personality? That was something that Ivy hardly though was special about her, and never expected anyone to compliment it. With her tail wagging quickly, the Samoyed nodded gratefully toward the child, her eyes widened. "Oh wow, thank you so much, Emi! You're so sweet!" Emi was such a nice little child that she had high hopes for. The world needed more people like her, that was for certain.
