Vlad came open to it. It was an elegantly made door with elaborate designs carved into the oak wood. He took hold of the handle and pushed it open. A library was waiting on the other side. Without looking distressed or confused about the lack of lab, Vlad went swiftly over to the far left bookshelf. His fingers skimmed the spines of the book until he reached a big, blue title. He pulled on it, a groan was heard, and the bookshelf flipped around to reveal a secret entryway; much like how every cartoon villain had a secret lair behind a bookshelf.

Danny stiffled a laugh, trying not to offend Vlad. But his thoughts were justified because Vlad was just so stereotypical with Villainy.
-
"Come, Daniel," Vlad beckoned as though the other man was his pet. He stepped into the dark corridor. "Quickly follow. This thing snaps back almost instantaneously."
-
Danny quickly joined Vlad, not wanted to make things complicated for him. He stared at him and felt a odd sense of fullfilmeant. Like he was meant to be there at that exact time, with the man in front of him. He smiled gently to himself and subconsciously got closer to Vlad.
-
Vlad was not one to not notice how Danny go closer to him as they edged along towards his lab. Of course, he wasn't aware if Danny himself was acquainted with how close he had gotten. Finally, they arrived to a brightly lit room, that caused Vlad's form to fade for a moment.
-
Danny looked at the room in awe. It had been forever since he had ser afoot in a laboratory like this one. One without men in white lab suits walking around with test tubes and clipboards. One without someone sticking a needle up his arm or forcing him to sit down.
-
Vlad glanced back at Danny, who was memorized by his surroundings. He smirked, feeling a good bit of pride for having Daniel so astonished.
"Do you like it, Daniel? I know it is not government funded, but I did do my best to make just as impressive as what they have." -
"Trust me, this is way better than the government's," Danny answered.
-
"Ah, good that I at least have your approval, " Vlad stated. "Now you mentioned last night about visiting some friends?"
-
"J-just some ghost friends that could know what is happening to me. " Danny explained.
He had a couple of ghost friends that at least got along with him. At least he wanted to believe so. -
Vlad nodded. Though he though had an amazing amount of insight, especially for situations like this, other opinions would not necessarily hurt their understanding on the subject. "Fine, you can go."
He walked over to the portal, flipping a lever and turning a dial. He looked back at Daniel as the machine hummed, slowly coming back to life. "However, if you do not come back by noon, I will take matters into my own hands." -
"Agreed. " Danny replied, he knew some ghosts hated him while others considered him a messiah and worshipped him.
" Sadly, this means i have to..transform. " Danny was very nervous about transforming, considering his outbursts. He slowly felt his ring appear and glide around his body, his eyes turning green and his hair white. -
Vlad nodded to himself. A light had came with Danny's ring, illuminating the small area around him. He watched, not intending to break his gaze away from the other man as he transformed. So far, nothing drastic appears to be happening, he thought to himself. But to push down any doubt from this situation could be our undoing.
-
Danny's eyes widened after he transformed. Being ghost seemed more natural now, more right. He wondered if the government was trying to make him completely a ghost and frowned. He looked at Vlad and gave a mock salute, then he flew into the Ghost Zone.
-
Vlad had allowed himself to chuckle at the small antic. It was just amusing enough to him to do so. He had called after him, with the small words of 'Good luck.' but he doubted if Danny actually heard him before entering the ghost realm.
-
Danny had, in fact, heard the small exchange of words and smiled. He knew he was going to need luck, but hearing Vlad wish him that just made him feel lightweighted and happy. He flew towards the icey part of the Ghost Zone first.
-
(Ready for an inaccurate description of the Ghost Zone?!?!?!)
Temperature was rapidly declining in the Ghost Zone as Danny headed towards his destination. However, the young man did not seem to register the extreme dips in degrees. He was used to it even as the green atmosphere around him metamorphosized into a light teal as !ore fragmented pieces of stone flew by. -
Danny knew he would visit Clockwork last, so before that he decided to ask Frostbite. Frostbite is one of the ghost worshippers who worshipped him. Frostbite and his people had helped him learn to hone is ice abilities and seemed to know a good bit of halfas. He landed in the iceyness.
-
Around him, an icy breeze swirled around, whipping at any exposed areas. The wind howled and nearly screeched once it raced around Danny. The cliffs seemed to tower over the halfa in an almost menacing manner.
-
Danny sighed. He definitely didn't miss this part in visiting Frostbite. He continued towards to the village.
