Vlad scoffed at the notion before going to get a towel. When he returned, Daniel was still in a state of disarray and confusion, and for one brief moment a more sadistic side of Vlad enjoyed that fact. However, the older man was suppose to act as a caregiver, no matter how temporary or how sincere his intentions really were, so he only offered the kindest words to the other halfa.
"I suppose it no longer matters why you came because now you're here."

"I guess." Danny grumbled, " I just want to end this. What does it matter to be half dead when I can be completely dead. "
-
Vlad was grim for a moment. A genuine look of concern spread across his face.
"I am sure you wouldn't want to spead the rest of your existence in that zone?" He inquired, his tongue heavy as he searched for Daniel's reply. -
"I wouldn't mind. Some of the Ghost like me. I could live with some friends. " Danny answered, his gaze steady on his hands.
-
It was then that Vlad plunged his hand in the water and pulled the drain. The bloody water splashed against the sides and Danny as it raced to the bottom of the tub.
-
Danny looked at Vlad, wondering why the older man was being so considerate.
-
And to which Vlad could not even explain himself on why he suddenly cared about the man so much. It was just that the idea of Daniel doing something like that was sickening.
Vlad practically threw the towel at Danny before leaving. -
Danny grabbed the towel and pulled himself out of the tub. He wiped the water off his pale skin.
-
He had no clothes but he did not really think about that matter.
-
He didn't really know wether to go into the room Vlad had given him, or to stay in the bathroom. He felt awkward and out of his skin.
-
He shivered as he only has the towel for protection against the cold. The whole bathroom was cold with its polished floors and large interior.
-
Danny remembered how big Vlad's house was and wondered why Vlad would have bought it. Vlad didn't live with anyone, or have guests often. So why buy a big house?
-
(Clearly, he's compensating for something.)
It really was a wonder and just for a second, Danny assumed that Vlad might have been just as lonely as he was. But that was ridiculous because Vlad wasn't the most social pr friendly of people. -
Danny stood there, for what seemed like hours, pondering on why the older man had such a huge house. He couldn't pinpoint an exact reason.
-
He could find none. However, he couldn't ponder anymore as it has been some time since he got out of the tub.
-
He decided to head over to his room, realizing his body wanted sleep. Tiredness seeped into his muscles and bones.
-
Luckily, when Danny finally pushed open the door he was met with no sight of the other man. Apparently, he retreated back into his own confines, which was completely fine considering that he wasn't feeling up to confronting the older man after what had happened. He flopped down onto hi- Vla- the guest bed, letting his drowniness consume him and force him into a restless sleep.
-
The fluffy blankets eveloped him in a warm hug.
-
He fell into another period of unconsciousness.
-
He had a trippy dream. Full of colors and swirls like the lollipops they used to sell in stores.
