• [fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify]Honestly, letting Jojo go out alone to explore the world and 'live her life' was probably not the wisest decision her parents had made. Sure she knew basic self defense skills and how to catch her own food - living as a barn cat meant being able to hunt at least - but other than that she was about as awkward as they come. She was tall and skinny, her long limbs making her slightly uncoordinated and far too clumsy. Not only this but if there was a name synonymous with the word 'clueless' then it would be Jojo Walker. The girl was totally oblivious, sarcasm flying right over her head. Not to mention the fact that she was far too naive for this world.

At this very moment, the lanky brown tabby cat could be seen by the borderline. She was sitting, her tail wrapped over her front paws in an attempt to appear less... tall and skinny, she guessed. Not that her position was doing very much to stop her from sticking out like a sore thumb for on her maw was a smile that stretched from ear to ear. The smile was bright enough to appear somewhat eccentric, a little bit gawky. Inside her chest Jojo's heart was thumping. One thing that came with being a lanky girl was a whole lot of nerves - especially in social situations.

Light green eyes glanced around with curiosity, widening and her ears pricking as she caught sight of someone. Jumping up to her paws, the tabby cat found herself speaking. Somewhat loudly. "Hello! Sorry to intrude. But, I'm Jojo! Jojo Walker. I'm here to join. If you'll have me that is - I don't want to be a pain and really I just want to get this over and done with." Her words came out in a rush and she could tell that she was blabbering.

Another joiner? She was meeting quite a lot of them at the border. "Welcome to WindClan," the Guardian would greet. "I'm Redpaw, lemme know if you have any questions, Jojo," she continued. Jojo was certainly a curious name; it wasn't one she had heard of before at any rate.

They looked from cat to cat, uttering a single word calmly, "Joiner?" Tahki's paws twitched, they wanted to go hunting, but had to see what was happening. Their expression was vacant, and they were staring at the cat at the border, they were slender, and they were probably chatty. Tahki shifted their weight onto their hindlegs as they began sitting.

Lusa approached on nimble, wide paws, gazing over at the feline. Ah, a chipper one this joiner was. She seemed upbeat and happy, the black bear figured she liked her attitude.
"Welcome to WindClan." Came her gentle chirp. "Lusa at your service." She would pause for a bit, almost as if contemplating, one paw raised. "You must have traveled a long way. Would you like refreshments, or perhaps for me to show you to the cabins?"
[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;]Cherviltea had arrived shortly after Lusa, steady aureate-hues shifting towards the lank, umber figure placed by the border. Jojo, was the name that they had donned themselves with. It seemed to suit her, in all honesty. Perhaps, Jojo was simply a rather lively name, suiting her lively pandering - and whilst pandering would usually pertain to a rather negative impression, Cherviltea simply enjoyed calling them talkative, instead - and he could easily get along with those who were fairly talkative. A smile illuminated his expression, and he'd proceed to offer the domestic a brief nod in greeting. "You aren't a pain, don't worry about it." He'd assure her. "Welcome to the clan, Jojo. I'm Cherviltea Xerses." It seemed as if Lusa had already combed through the proposals that skirted the forefront of his own thoughts, and therefore, would refrain from echoing as such. "Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, alright?" Chervil opted to add, instead.

  • As the figure came towards her, the excitable she-cat noticed that it was a domestic, one not unlike herself. She was brown like herself but had patches of white and where Jojo was tall and lanky, this girl was lean and muscular. If envy was something that the tabby cat had ever felt then she certainly would have been feeling it, the girl being rather pretty with her bright amber eyes and all. Yet as the WindClanner introduced herself as Redpaw, the domestic couldn't help but feel just a little confused. "It's real nice to meet you! But I do have a question," here her brow was furrowed slightly, showing her slight confusion. "why on earth would 'ya mumma call you Redpaw when you haven't got a red hair on your body?" Maybe it was rude to ask such a quesiton, but she did mean well. Her brow unfurrowing, she did manage to let her smile slide back into place as she spoke again. "But it really is quite a pretty name!"

If she were anyone else then she might be hoping that she hadn't insulted the other girl. Alas, the fact that her words could be taken wrongly hadn't even occurred to the she-cat. Then again, not a lot did. So her bright emerald eyes shifted from Redpaw to land upon a lynx. The lynx was certainly bigger than her and yet Jojo never really had much of an idea of what would or wouldn't be dangerous to her. As such her vibrant smile was turned onto the lynx as they asked about whether she was a joiner. "Oh, yes! I am. It's awfully nice of you guys to take me in. Thank you. It's a pleasure to meet you as well, I'm Jojo." Her words came with a slightly too-eager nod of her head in response to Tahki's question. Then, "Do you have a name?" she asked the question with slightly widened eyes, her head tilting to the side. She couldn't simply meet someone and not know their name.

Now another much larger creature was approaching. This time it was a bear, one covered with black fur. The girl seemed gentle in nature and yet despite this, she appeared to be the friendliest of the bunch. "Why, it's great to meet you, Lusa. I really never have met a bear before," once again her bright smile was on her maw. "but I really haven't traveled far at all! It was really only an hours walk and that's next to nothing. I ate not long ago so I'm not hungry much at all. But the cabins! That would be awfully kind of you!" Just the very idea of seeing the cabins that WindClan called their camp was enough to have her excited. This was evident by her brilliant smile.

Jojo's eyes were moving again then, her short attention span drawing her way from Cherviltea and to the newest arrival. A border collie! Why, Jojo sure did love dogs. There had been an old beagle back at the barn. He hadn't done an awful lot of talking but Jojo had thought he was a nice guy all the same. Apart from when he scared off their mice with his snoring. She wouldn't hold that against him though. Her smile on the male she gave an appreciative nod of her head. "Thank you, Cherviltea! You've got a really great name there but I reckon it is just a little bit long. Have you got a nickname I can use?" Her words came out with a tilt of her head and a vibrant smile.

Jonathan's ears pricked up at the sound of a loud, feminine voice. Jonathan had been looking around the territory for some prey to catch, but the voices of his clanmates and the unfamiliar loud voice caught his attention. The deputy would look over to where the voices were coming from, before padding to the location.

The former human entered the scene, following in after Cherviltea, glancing over at Jolene. She certainly seemed friendly, even if she was a bit loud. He could also tell that she seemed chatty, and energetic, considering she has already said so many things to all the Windclanners she just met. Jonathan didn't think he talked that much back when he joined! [b]"Hey Jojo, welcome to Windclan," The former human would begin to speak, with a nod of his head, "My name is Jonathan Toews, the deputy here. If you have any questions at all, feel free to ask me."

  • Honestly, these WindClanners sure were a quiet bunch. They seemed to the point with no extra words added in and it was something that the domestic just couldn't relate to at all. Her thoughts on their attitude towards speaking was confirmed by the next clanner to appear. Jojo's bright green eyes watched as the canine approached. He was much larger than her with shaggy fur and a prosthetic limb. Wait. Prosthetic leg? What on earth did he have that for. Curiosity in her eyes the tabby cat just couldn't help himself and instead of talking about something else first she launched right into it.

"You've got a prosthetic leg. What did 'ya do to need that? And who on earth made it for you?" Was it rude to ask people why they had prosthetic limbs? Yes, it most likely was. Alas this fact was beyond the dusty furred girl. Looking up at the timber wolf, her furrowed brow turned into a smile once more. "It's real nice to meet you though, Jonathan, thanks. But do you ever just go by Jon? Because it really would be a real lot easier for me to just call you Jon." Call it laziness, but Jojo had a thing for cutting corners when it came to people's names. Why spit out full names when you could use nicknames? Heck, she didn't even go by her own first name. Jolene was much too graceful and girly for the awkward cat anyway. Jojo seemed just right.

It's quite annoying," growled Silver, an irritated look in his eyes. Many may know that the dark-red tabby's personality clashed with characters such as this girl, so might expect his apparent hostility- and, he was not prepared to apologise for what he liked to call 'being vigilant'. Soulsilver thought his way of life was sensible, enabling him to avoid whoever he didn't trust, or whoever annoyed him in any way. The winged tabby flared his peirced nostrils in an outward huff of air, akin to a sigh except less pronounced, and muttered, "You want a tour, or something? I hope not. Asking for a tour shows signs of inability to fend for oneself, but I don't care if you want one."

Lusa flashes a smile back at the other. She's eccentric, certainly asks a lot of questions; something she can get by with. "Ah, when you're ready, feel free to follow me to the cabins." She'd offer. The black bear was kind enough to not take the other with her yet, so she still had time to interact with the clanmates around her.
It's when the tabby finally turns to ask Lusa's mentor questions that a brief smile lights her muzzle. "Ah, I've been in WindClan for a while and I'm not even sure what that metal leg is for!" She chirps. "I could be wrong, but I'm betting he lost it in some epic battle." A playful tongue lolls from the black bear's long muzzle.
