Oops, Dallas was a little late to the party but he didn't mind too much. If anything, he was learning how to be fashionably late at a young age. He had been watching a couple bugs eat a leaf when he heard the call. At first, he disregarded the voice and continued watching. However, soon enough he was bored and stumbled over on uncoordinated legs.

Sitting down next to Rori, Dallas looked over at the flowers curiously. Inching forwards so he could pick one up and sniff it cautiously his eyes brightened up. He knew the answer to this one! "It's called Goldflower! And it uh.." A frown quickly settled on his face as he thought of something it could do. Maybe it poisoned cats? No, that was too mean. Flowers would never do that. "And it helps with sore tummies!" Dallas exclaimed, puffing out his little chest with pride. He knew something no one else did! It was certainly an exciting feat for the young pup, even if he made all of that up on the spot.

  • She would get up from her position in the crowd and trot over to sit herself beside Vani. She didn't speak, for she knew the answer well already amd she didn't want to seem like a know-it-all.

Oh, a herb training? This would be fun! Perhaps she could learn more than the bit she already knew. Plus, if she became a medic, she'd definitely be more helpful than in a warrior's position, being the big softie witch she was. The vampiress stopped somewhere among the crowd, a smile on her maw. She knew this one. "It's marigold, and it's leaves and petals are chewed into a poultice. Commonly used for stopping infections and bleeding, but I think it can be used for inflammation and stiff joints too."

Hm, naming what this plant did and how it functioned? The young warrior leaned forward to get a better look, eyes squinting as she tried to remember when she'd seen it. As she decided, her ears twitched while others voiced their opinions, which in turn jogged her own memory. "I'm not sure if it's marigold or goldenrod, myself, but I agree with Arabella as to its functions. Isn't goldenrod just stronger than marigold?" she meowed, nose scrunched up in thought. She knew that the two herbs had similar functions in healing, but she wasn't one hundred percent sure as to their exact relation to each other.

It was already plain to see that Emilia's body was built for combat. While still young and small, she was already growing beyond her sisters' sizes, competing in build with her brothers. She was a battle machine, but the more she though about it, the more she wanted to learn about herbs. How amazing would it be to be able to help people when they needed it most? The direhound slunk over, noticing most of her siblings already present. Did they want to be medic apprentices too? She didn't want to compete with them, but she did want this. She thought.

Seeing as how the current question had already been answered plenty of times, the young female stayed quiet, looking down at her paws and waiting for Vanillapastry to ask something else. Emilia likely knew almost nothing about herbs, being as young as she was, but she could learn!

"I'm — going to just watch. Yeah."

Booooring. Cassian found the thought going through his mind as he made his way over, head tilting to the side as his paws reached over the soil. Medicine? Who would want to learn about that? He found himself looking over his siblings who were trying to take part in this training, but it wasn't really something Cass found he wanted to do. The skinny pup wasn't really meant to take someone on head-on, but he wasn't going to admit to that. His frame was more for things like healing, or just... sitting around. His bones, at his current age at least, were probably easily breakable. The son of Duncan and Kali, however, had a mind that was completely uninterested in any of that. With a quick puff of hot breath, the pup was sliding clumsily onto his stomach, lying his head in between his outstretched paws as he watched them all try and reach for a spot on the healer's team. Marigold, blah, blah, blah. Fortunately, Cassian was able to keep his mouth shut as he continued to watch with a quick yawn.

  • Londonpaw would scuttle over, pretty late but interested all the same. For now she'd be quiet and just watch as she had no clue what was going on.

Vanillapastry waited until the correct answer was given, and the fem gave a nod of her head at Arabella's answer. "Bella is correct, it's used for stopping infections and bleeding and can also be used for stiff joins, though, ragwort leaves is better to use for aching joins." She said, scooping up the marigold and setting it aside. Her ears perked up at Embeddedpython's question and she shook her head. "Not typically, no, goldenrod is used for general wound healing but isn't really as stronger." Vani explained, eyes flicking towards Coralie Mae and hoping she was correct.

The serval scooped up a round, tiny, lilac purple flower with leaves similar to that of a regular mint plant. The plant grew around Riverclan's territory quite a bit and wasn't too hard to find, she hoped that most of the members that gathered would know what the plant was. "Alright, can anyone explain the purpose of this plant? Bonus points if you know it's name,"

[justify][size=8]The little girl honestly had issues pronouncing her own name as young as she was, so when the pretty head medic pressed forward a violet flower she remained quiet for the longest time, entirely unsure what to say or think of the plant. "Um... is it mallow?" Mallow had rounder leaves than mint and she was entirely unsure but she only knew of two purple flowers to be honest and it didn't seem to lavender.

Don't you put mallow on, um, it's-it's-it's-it's bee stings! Right?" she went on, annoyed with herself for stammering so much. Emilia had trouble conveying her thoughts, which is why she liked to stay quiet.

She felt a burst of pride when her answer was named correct. The next plant that Vani brought out wasn't too familiar, since in the castle, they hadn't been around rivers and swamps a lot, but she didn't think it was Mallow. Mallows leaves were used, sure, but she wasn't sure if the flowers were ever used. Plus, wasn't the flower larger than that? Mallow grew on shores, too, which was common here. But she was pretty sure it was watermint. "I think it's Watermint. You chew it into a pulp and feed it to the patient... I'm pretty sure it's used for stomach aches."

"Watermint? I guess you force stinky breathers to eat that," she spoke, quietly thinking to herself that several people in Clan could use this treatment.

although she may be a bit late to the scene, it was better to arrive late rather than never. she was here to learn, to become better, and she hoped that she would have a considerable improvement in the medicinal field once this was done and over with. even if she didn't get the part of medic apprentice, it was still a good lesson to learn; to learn about herbs and their benefits or their consequences. she would sit and listen to vanilla list off the properties of the herbs and if someone got it right, vanilla would praise them. at times, nike would chime in, offering what the herb might be or what it could be used for. she had only heard the words in passing from one medic to another, but never really thought those words could come in handy.

Aslan was a little late to the party, but he would still like to join in on the herb training session. So this was his sister? he had heard a bit about Vanillapastry, and knew that she had been trained in medicine under Coralie much like he had been. Aslanskies had decided to leave his life behind as the WindClan medic however, as that place didn't feel like home anymore. RiverClan was his new home now. His father Prague was here, as well as his adopted mother Cora. he had family here, and the very thought of that soothed his mind. Taking a glance at the current lilac-colored herb which Vani was holding up, the tiger didn't take long to state his answer, recognizing the herb in a heartbeat. "It's watermint... it is t-to be chewed up to h-help cure bellyaches."
