Someone had pulled him away from his mother, stepped on his tail with a massive paw, and then this buttface was stealing his food. Quill released his most "mighty" bark at the stranger only to hear muffled sounds in return but he continued to let out soft yelps and "barks" of protest. He would bring this unknown being hell. Now, he was lost. What a bummer. He started squirming around blindly since it wasn't like he could just yell out 'Marco' and his siblings would answer him. No, they were much too small so on his first adventure his task was to find where his mother was since he was snagged away by some brute. I showed him who was boss. Were probably his thoughts but they were mostly hungry thoughts as he yelped quietly still crawling forward until he felt around with his nose and nuzzled one of his siblings sides beginning to crawl over them "yowling" at those around tumbling in the empty spot next to Ramses after he crawled over him, of course.

  • "Duncan, be a little more kinder! Your mate had foals- erm, puppies. However much you aren't used to them, you have to get used to them." she neighed before focusing on Kali. "All right, Kali, you should rest then. Would you like a few poppy seeds?"

[justify][size=8]Welcome to the world Tisiphone Vantas-Harbringer-Xerxes, though as the writhing bundle would come to go as, Rori worked just as well. Her name, as simple as it was, would be a difficult task for such a young soul as her's and though she preferred it Rori was much easier on a puppy's tongue. Nuzzling her muzzle into the white femme's belly she nursed quietly, unaware or uninterested is what was going on.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][font=georgia]"Hello everyone."

She invites herself in, looking different than what they had seen last. An air of calmness and serenity is carried with the fae. Not to mention the appearance of an older creature. She's older than before, no doubt. The young adult feline brushes past her dear friend Hope softly. "How about some borage? Lets hold off on the poppy seeds, my dear." Says the she-cat with a flick of her ears. Turning her gaze back to Kali, she sits about a foot away. A new mother has wild instincts to protect her young, no matter who is approaching. Besides, she wants to give Kali space, nonetheless. She had just finished giving birth, after all. "Seven pups, well done, friend." There was the obvious disturbance by Duncan's outburst. Echopaw has known him for a long time, she can assume why her friend is troubled. Echopaw stands and takes a step towards Kali gingerly.

"Ah, he is young," The tabby points her tail towards the exit of the den, referring to Duncan. "He probably doesn't know how to take this. His parents weren't really around, after all." She gives a moment for that to settle with the new mother before speaking again. "Now, why don't we all obey Hope? Give the new mother some rest, aye?" The small brown tabby smiles softly and pads over to her former co-worker's side. Despite this entire.. ordeal on a personal level, she can't deny the joy from seeing new little faces.

Suddenly Ivylee was there, amazed by the sight. She couldn't hold back a smile as she gleamed down at her sister's pups - her nieces and nephews. Each and every little one she adored already... and there were so many of them! The Samoyed leader gave a gleeful bounce in the air, tail wagging after she had landed back on the ground. She couldn't believe it... she was an aunt, and her sister was a mother. Ivy knew she'd be a pretty darn good one, too.

Lonewolf had no idea that Kali had been pregnant, so this came as a huge surprise to him. The sound of happy murmurs had drawn him over to the scene, to which a gasp escape his lips and his eyes widened. There Kali was, laying on the ground with a rather large litter of pups nestled by her stomach. The look in her eyes gave off the impression that she was exhausted but she was happy. Lonewolf was happy too, amidst the shock that was coursing through him. This was wonderful! He had a personal soft spot for children, so it was clear why he was feeling so happy for her and Duncan.

"Kali, Duncan, congratulations," The tom purred, gaze resting onto Duncan for a long moment with amusement as he tried to process the fact that he was now a father. Poor Duncan seemed clueless, but luckily for him, Kali was there to support him. Speaking of Kali, Lonewolf had a feeling that she was going to be a terrific mother. He could already sense it just by watching her now.

  • Ah, borage leaves, yes, of course. She quickly conjured some up in a flash of blue light and set it down in front of Kali. "Thanks, Echopaw. Eat these, Kali, okay? They'll help you produce better milk."

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Ron's voice, however uncertain, is enough to bring Kali to a bright state. She drops the issue with Duncan, turning her head so she can beam at the apprentice. "Thank you," she breathes in reply. As much as a conversation was order, and not just for Verona, now was simply not the time. Kali goes back down the row, nuzzling each pup into place, taking special care with Quill and Ramses as the two were returned to their peaceful places. They'd be rambunctious, she could tell, and they'd be lovely children who'd flourish in RiverClan and in the world. As eager as she was to watch their lives play out, she knew that would come in time. After all, they were still but babies.

Amusement replaces the brief surprise, aimed at Darium as the girl directed her rather brash words at Kali's boyfriend. A smile spreads, and Kali blinks warmly. Perhaps she should hire Darium to break any and all news, for she did in a way that, though blunt, got the information out in the open.
Glancing to Radiant Hope, her maw parts to emit a tired response, but then Echopaw is there and- Echopaw? Kali glances upon the former medic with unbridled surprise, however softness seeps in to wash all else away. She could wonder all night what had brought on this newer Echopaw, but instead she chose to welcome it with open arms. Beaming still, the radiance of her face undisturbed by anything and everything, she nods slowly and cannot hide her exhaustion. "Borage sounds wonderful," she murmurs, and takes it from Hope whilst easing it onto her tongue. The herb is bitter all the way down, but as Ivylee and Lonewolf approach she is pulled away.

"You're an Aunt, Ivy," she speaks softly, her voice welling with joy to make up for the lack of volume. She watches as the delighted leader bounces, her tiny form touching down and tail beating at the air. If Kali was excited, Ivy looked damn close. The Head Riverguard stares until Lonewolf approaches, and she faces the male with yet another turn of her head and the same faintly tired bu undeniably joyous curve of her lips. "Thank you, Lonewolf," she responds with genuine thankfulness, nodding her head shortly. As much as she was tired, she wanted to be able to speak to all of them, and thus refused to let her drooping head fall.
