    Plot
    ]The kingdoms of Petrova and Calormen have been living peacefully for the last hundred years, until now. The two kingdoms have been arguing over territory, they may even go to war unless the kingdoms unite. The Calormen king agrees to unite the kingdoms if the princess of the Petrova kingdom, Jane, agrees to marry the Calormen king's eldest son. However, she does not want to get married, especially to some stranger. Jane eventually becomes friends with the eldest prince, and finds out he's not a bad guy. He is loyal and kind, and very respectable. Jane also meets the king's other son, who is obnoxious and rude. She despises him, but maybe there is more to him then she thinks. No matter what, she'll have to get married to save her kingdom. But who knows what could happen?
