Natasha frowned listening to the brunette. Just because Katya was technically fine to go on missions since she was only a few weeks along but that doesn't mean she should. Anything could happen while she was out in the field. Nothing was guaranteed and Tasha would feel a whole lot safer if Katrina just worked desk duty for now. "Fine. But if I find out your going on some highly dangerous mission I'm pulling you out whether you like it our not." The redhead stated, bending down to re-tie her shoelaces. She had saw the note from Katya this morning and had decided to come and see how her sister was holding up but she had decided to stop by and see Clint first and this happened. Not exactly what she had been expecting at a

Katrina raised her shoulders nonchalantly at her sisters threat. She highly doubted that it would come to that- she wasn't stupid, it wasn't like she would walk into a gunfight right now. What she didn't know was that Natasha would disagree vehemently with what would be considered 'dangerous' compared to her. "Yeah, yeah, now are you going to spar or just stand here looking pretty?" No sooner had she spoken than another voice reached her.
"You look like you're a man short there." Ordinarily she would have been fine with such an intrusion or a chance to knock someone down but rather than accept with a coy smile the girls face dropped into pure irritation.
"Get lost, Sanderson." She snapped, turning her attention to her earlier abused wrist rather than giving the man a passing glance. He was the last person in the agency that she wanted to see right now. "We're good."
Katrina had yet to reveal the father to anyone, simply because she didn't care to volunteer the information and no one had asked yet. But this interaction was shedding some light on the topic. All in all he was a half decent guy, great to work with, but he had quite the ego and a womanizing reputation. "Really? Last I checked there were three of you, that's an uneven team." He offered again.

Before Tasha had a chance to respond to her sister's teasing question, a voice spoke up from behind her. Turning her head, her brows furrowed in confusion at the intruder. What the hell was Sanderson doing her? "Wait you two know each other?" She asked, well the question was more directed towards Katya since she could care less about Sanderson. Honestly, he was a cocky jerk who didn't understand how to leave well enough alone. That and he was a womanizer. She wouldn't be able to count how many girls he's slept with in Shield on both her fingers and toes combined.
-
Katrina would have been content to just ignore the man's presence all together but Natasha she would of course answer. "We did a job together a few months ago." She answered quickly before the man had a chance to open his mouth. Unfortunately for her he did anyway.
"Yeah, Rio job, I thought we worked well together." All in all he was a half decent guy, great to work with, but he had quite the ego and a womanizing reputation. "Really? Last I checked there were three of you, that's an uneven team." He offered again, stepping foreword and placing a hand on Katya's shoulder in a semi friendly manner. "How about we team up?"
At this point the younger romanoff was fed up with him and she certainly didn't want to be touching him even if it was innocent in nature. "How about no." She growled before grabbing the offending hand and turning to twist it threateningly. "Touch me again and I break it. Get lost." With that she threw him back a few steps and started for the door.

Both Natasha and Clint watched the obvious tension between the two. Something definitely happened between Katya and this Sanderson guy and Tasha wasn't sure if she liked it. This wasn't something minor. Sure, Katya was stubborn and not good at making friends but she didn't just hate people without a specific reason. Like when she and Tasha first met Katya hated her for betraying the red room until she realized that Nat was the good guy.
Once Katya was walking towards the door, Natasha threw a noticeable glare towards the man before hurrying after her sister. She didn't know what was going on but she was sure as hell going to find out. "Katya!" She called jogging to catch up with the brunette. "What was that? I can tell something happened between you two so just be honest about it."
Ooc:MY OTHER BABY to bad he's being used as a womanizer

Katrina didn't slow her stride when she heard her sister but she also made no effort to speed up. When she heard the woman's question all that came in response was a cruel laugh. "Yeah 'something happened'." She agreed making the turn to get to the exit, clocking herself out as she went. She waited for Natasha to catch up again so she could lower her voice and hiss. "And that something is currently growing inside me." The woman gestured violently towards her stomach before continuing on her little rant. "So you can understand why I'm not happy to see him! He is the reason I've been sick for the last month and a half! Now are you driving me home or am I getting a cab?"
-
Oh. Ohh. No wonder Katya didn't want to be around him. She didn't want the kid in the first place so being around the guy who made it happen certainly wouldn't help at all. But at the same time Katya couldn't blame him for everything. She willingly had sex with him and willingly didn't use a condom. Tasha tried to tell her that birth control didn't always work. "Yeah. I'll take you home." She said, grabbing her sister's hand in a comforting grip before leading her towards her car
-
Natasha's gesture did little to dull Katya's ire but at the very least it reminded her to attempt to calm down. Taking Nat's hand in her own she gave a tight nod of thanks at her agreement to drive. "This is his fault!" She grumbled again shaking her head. "Naturally the mission that screws with my pills is the mission that I sleep with him." It wasn't uncommon for operations to get in the way of scheduled medicine times and thus hinder the pills effectiveness for a few days. Thus Katrina normally played it safe and insisted her lover use protection. Only this time it seems her demand hadn't been honored.
-
As much as Tasha would like to agree with Katya to help her feel better, the redhead just couldn't. "You can't blame him for all of this Katya." She stated, digging her hand into her jogging pants she had wore to fish out her keys. "Sex is a two way street. As is having a baby. Did you two even use a condom?" Unlocking the car, she let go of the brunette's head. "All I'm saying is that you can't fully blame him and he can't blame you when the two of you willingly had sex with each other and you knew that your birth control was off because of the mission."
-
Katrina slid quickly into Natasha's car and slammed the door behind her. She was waiting little more than impatiently for her sister to do the same. "Wait, no." The brunette held up her hands to stop Natasha from talking. She understood the consequences of her actions, she always knew the risk. Heck, she had gotten a pregnancy scare before- she understood what could happen. "Yeah I get that, two way street." She agreed with complete nonchalance as if that part didn't matter all that much to her. She would still be irritated with that being the beginning and end of the story but she was just as angry with herself as she would have been with him if that was what had happened. "Difference is, I'm not an idiot and told him to use a condom and apparently he didn't because now I'm the one lugging another human around inside me!"
-
Natasha climbed into the car, closing the door behind her. She decided to ignore the way Katya slammed her door closed only because she was in a bad mood. Tasha would let it slide this one time, but if there was one dent in her car from the way Katya was man handling it there would be hell to stay. Starting the car up, she was about to reverse out of her parking spot when Katya fully came out and explained how it was Sanderson's fault. "You told him and he didn't listen? Oh I'm gonna kick his *ss."
-
Katrina gestured frustratedly towards her stomach at Natasha's question and nodded. "Of course I told him to! The pill doesn't always work even if I had been on schedule with taking it and a baby is literally the last thing I want!" She pointed out shocked that Natasha had thought she would do otherwise. "I'm irresponsible about other people's sh*t not my own!" Just like a mission, always have a backup plan. Unfortunately for Katrina her backup plan had been disrupted by a mission and her partner hadn't followed her instructions.
To her dismay, that was the very reason she couldn't let Natasha follow through with her threat. "If you want to have him over for Christmas and have weekend visitation then sure, go ahead and beat him up." She didn't need him putting the pieces together in a few months when she looked like she had a pillow stuffed under her shirt, conveniently timed just after their little rendezvous. "Otherwise don't even look in his direction and I'll say it wasn't his." Was it wrong to keep a father from his child? Yes. Did Katrina care? No. In her mind Seth Sanderson lost the right to know when she lost the right to know the night they slept together.
-
Natasha was about to send Katya her rebuttal when the brunette expressed all the things that would happen if Sanderson found out. No. Now way was he stepping foot into her house unless he wanted to get shot. What dumb breed of guy do you have to be to flat out ignore a woman's request to wear a condom? Especially considering birth control didn't always work. "He'll find out sooner or later Katya. Even if you claim it's someone else's he'll be able to connect the dots to when exactly you go pregnant." The redhead stated, turning out of the parking lot and onto the road.
-
"He sees my baby over my dead body." The brunette shook her head in disagreement. She didn't know how she was to do it but she wouldn't let him know. She would do all in her power to keep him from finding out. Natasha was right however about one thing- he timeline would give her away. That is unless he didn't notice her pregnancy progressing. Green eyes grew glassy with thought and brunette curls draped over Katya's shoulder as she tilted her head to the side. "What if he didn't know when it was born?" She inquired softly as an idea started to form in her mind. "What if I was sent on undercover for say, four months, and then went on maternity leave?" All they had to do was hide the pregnancy until then and then have Hill or Fury switch the records for them. He wouldn't assume a child born a full year after their meeting would be his. She would make up for the lie later, she knew it would cost her a favor and who knew how Fury would have her cash it in later but it could work.
-
Natasha listened to Katya's idea quietly. "That could work." It would be asking a big favor from both Nick and Hill. One she was sure the two would hold against them into the time was right. Nick was a good guy but he never forgot things. Ever. "As long as your one hundred percent positive that you don't want him in your child's life than I'm all in." The redhead along knew that they were being a bit selfish. They weren't even considering the fact that said kid would grow up without their father, and they weren't even giving Sanderson a chance to be a part of the child's life. But at the end of the day the kid was Katya's and she had the final say in what happened to it. it
-
Katrina didn't need to think for more than a moment before nodding her confirmation. She didn't want that man near her, her baby, or her sister for that matter. "I keep calling it a he." She started, allowing herself to speak through her thought process, give Natasha a chance to hear her reasoning for once. She had meant it month ago when she said she was going to be more open. Her voice was soft like satin as she spoke rather unlike the hard hatred and anger from earlier. "And if it is a he than I definately don't want him learning from a man who would do that. If it's a girl than I don't want her growing up thinking that the way he treated me is how she should be treated." Now the woman paused now to look down at her stomach and placed a hand there. "I don't want this at all but if I'm going to do it than I'm going to do it right."
-
Natasha nodded. Her sister's reasoning was great. The aunt to be would simply hate it if Katya had a daughter and when she found out how she was conceived she would think that it was okay for guys to treat her like that and end up somewhere pregnant. And it would be even worse if she had a son and he grew up like his father and got some random chick he slept with pregnant. "Well. I think you're going to be a great mom Katya. You just gotta start seeing the positive in this instead of the negatives." The woman stated.
-
Katrina scoffed at her sister's words but her eyes twinkled with delight at what had been said. "Oh let me give it a try!" She sighed in false happiness. "I'm positive that the next few months will suck." She sassed rather than thank or dismiss the comment. "Did I do good?" She gave a large false smile before dropping her guard and rolling her eyes. "Come on, Tasha. I was a convicted killer until a few months ago, I don't have a stable life, and I don't like kids. I'm not mother material like you." Tasha would make a great mom if she wanted to ever go that route. Katrina was certain of it.
-
Natasha rolled her eyes at her sister's sassiness. "Fine. Since you want to be stubborn I'll give it a shot." She said with a laugh. "You can teach them Russian and other languages. Help them out with school, teach them ballet." The list could go on and on in her eyes. There were so many positive things she felt that would come with being a mother. "Unlike us they can have a normal life and follow the dreams they want for themselves without someone like the red room holding them back and dictating their life, and they'll have the chance to grow up with their parent." The woman added with a genuine smile. "Plus I heard from Laura that being pregnant makes your boobs bigger and that's something you definitely need." And kf course it wouldn't be Natasha talking if she didn't throw at least one playful insult in the gist of that.
-
Katrina fell silent to listen to her sister who seemed determined to make her think about the positive. Despite all of what had been said, the thing that the brunette latched onto was the Russian bit. "No, no." She started, falling into the trap Natasha had laid to suck her away from negative things. "He won't be taught Russian, he will grow up with Russian. I don't care what country they are born in, my baby will be Russian with a good Russian name and Russian culture." She was very proud of her heritage and she wanted her child to be too.
