  • Big Tiny and Oscar were hesitant on this as well while Daryl gave a light nod to Rick before following the man, Sampson doing the same. He wanted to be there if the prisoners decided to do anything. Oscar and Big Tiny glanced around in shock after seeing several corpses on the ground. Oscar wanted to make a remark when Axel said that, already knowing that they would be dead.

Hazel gave a sigh, gritting her teeth. The young woman went to stand, letting Carol take her spot before she walked out of the cell, forcing back tears. She really loved Hershel, seeing him as her father since her's was long away, and maybe even dead. She couldn't bear to loose anymore people. The young woman mostly blamed herself, for letting him go.

Okay so, I'm back(hopefully) Ive been inactive with sports and sickness going around

  • (OOC: I hope you’re feeling better! There’s a lot of sickness going around. Two of my friends are just now getting over being sick too. I can’t remember, who is playing Andrew? I think it was me, but if not, just let me know ^^)

Rick nodded back to Daryl and Sampson before heading further out into the prison yard. He could that they were likely still trying to sort all this out. Pausing, Rick glanced around at all the corpses. He could see a few walkers moving about the fence, moaning. Suddenly one of the prisoners, Andrew, spoke up. “You never said, how the hell did you get in here in the first place?” He asked, looking over at the Daryl, Sampson, and Rick. Tomas stood a few feet away, still looking down at the bodies that littered the yard.

When Hazel turned away and walked out of the cell, Glenn quickly followed after. Stepped up to her, he moved to wrap his arms around her. He knew how much she cared about Hershel, and how much he meant to her. Glenn didn’t know what he could say. He couldn’t promise that Hershel would be okay, even though he really wished he could. So, instead, he just held her, hoping to bring her some form of comfort, even if it was only a little.

Emma glanced up as Hazel walked out of the cell, shifting slightly so Carol could get beside her. Swallowing the lump in her throat, Emma looked back to Hershel. He was still unconscious, and while he was breathing, it sounded a little more labored. Lori moved to help get Hershel’s vest off and Emma checked his wound again. The bleeding was slowing, but Hershel had still lost a lot of blood. Please be okay, she prayed fighting back tears. She couldn’t lose him.

  • Thanks! Yeah, a lot of people got sick. And i think Andew is who you roleplayed. Since I've been inactive, in a couple of posts, do you want to timeskip to the episode Killer Within? and I have a plot, maybe when Negan kills off abraham, maybe I can kill off Dison and keep Sampson? Though maybe Negan kills him in the future when the group goes to war?

"Cut a hole in that fence over there by the guard tower." Daryl said in a slight sharp tone as he looked in the direction, holding his crossbow tight in his hands. "Where there's a will, there's a way." He commented afterwards. Sampson glanced around, moving to lick his lips slightly as they became chapped. His dark bear getting longer, along with his hair. He held his pistol tightly in his hands.

Hazel with the wrap her arms around Glenn, tears beginning to appear in her eyes. She slightly gripped the back of his shirt. "We should of never let him go.." The woman began, forcing back a sob. The emotional pain hit her hard, and it hurt a lot.

  • (OOC: Sure! That will be fine with me! I can have Emma perform CPR on Hershel in my next post or we can just skip over. Whichever is fine with me ^^ And I like that plot idea! I think it’d be really heartbreaking for them to lose Sampson like that. After Negan comes on things are going to bleak for them for awhile, that’s for sure.)

Andrew was almost surprised by Daryl’s reply. “That easy, huh?” He asked aloud. He was quiet as the man spoke again before adding, “Easy for you to say.” Axel looked towards Rick. “Is some kind of disease or something?” Rick pursed his lips and glanced around, “Yeah. And we’re all infected.” Axel’s brow furrowed at that. “What do you mean infected? Like AIDs or something?”

Glenn closed his eyes for a second, swallowing at her words. “It could have happened to anyone,” he whispered to her. He didn’t want her blaming herself for this. It really could have happened to any of them. After a few moments he pulled away, whispering, “Hey, stop it. He’s still here.” Hershel was still alive. They hadn’t lost him yet. Glenn hoped that Hershel did wake up soon.

Emma continued to keep pressure on the wound. Her hands were slick with blood, but she didn’t care. She let out a shaky sigh as she looked towards Hershel’s face. His breathing wasn’t getting any better, and it was scaring Emma more than she was trying to let on. She glanced back down at Hershel's wound, keeping the blanket pressed to the wound.

  • Daryl kept his cool, he knew that these men knew nothing what was going on, they had just gotten out of a cafeteria after all. "If I was to kill you, shoot an arrow in your chest, you'd come back as one of these thing." Daryl spoke as he went to point at one of the bodies. "It's gonna happen to all of us."

Hazel sighed, moving to look at Glenn once he had pulled away. "What if he does wake up? Then what? He can't even walk." She spoke, they had always been on the run. She didn't want Hershel to fall behind if something did happen. "All we do is run... Am I the only person living in reality?"

    sure!

  • (OOC: I think I'll be up for timeskipping whenever you are ^^ Where should skip to in the Killer Within?)

Axel’s brows furrowed further and he glanced down towards the bodies, stunned. Tomas suddenly spoke up. “Ain’t no way these Robin Hood cats responsible for killing all these freaks.” Andrew jumped in and added, “There must be 50 bodies out here.” Tomas meanwhile looked to Rick, as him where they came from. After Rick answered, Tomas asked where they were headed and Rick replied, “For now, nowhere.” They had a safe place right now. They weren’t going anywhere.

Tomas looked at him a moment before looking towards the yard. “I guess you can take that area down near the water. Should be comfortable.” Rick pointed towards the place Tomas indicated, telling him they were putting crops there. After Tomas continued to push, he said, “We took out these walkers. This prison is ours.” Still, Tomas and Andrew seemed unwilling to back down. Rick wasn’t going to back down either. They had spilled blood for this place, and he told them as such. Tomas, not liking that Rick said the prisoner was theirs, pulled out his gun and pointed it at Rick as he said he still person things in his cell. “That’s about as mine as it gets!”

Glenn reached out to put his hands gently on Hazel’s shoulders. “Hey, this won’t break him,” he told her softly, “Okay? He still has you, Sampson, and Emma.” He next words made him pause for a moment. After gathering his words, Glenn looked back to her. “We’ve been through much already.” He paused a moment before adding, “I’m not expecting…I’m just preparing.” He knew they had to prepare for the worst, but he hoped that Hershel did make it. The older man mattered to all of them, and he knew how much it would devastate Hazel if he died.

Emma glanced towards Herhsel again, pursing her lips as she watched the rise and fall of his chest. Suddenly, Hershel’s chest didn’t rise again. Emma froze, feeling like the floor had fallen out from beneath her. “Emma,” Lori began as the blonde stood. “Give me some room,” Emma said she moved to Hershel’s side. Without much thought, she began CPR. She had done it dozens of times. After doing the correct number of compression, Emma moved to give Hershel a few more breaths. As she did so, he moved, grasping at her. In that moment, Emma panicked and tried to twist away from him. Lori gasped and pulled Emma back. As they looked at Hershel, they saw his eyes open briefly as he gasped for breath. He then fell unconscious, but he continued to breath.

  • ooc; We can start right where Carl notifies that theres walkers? I can do it in this post!

Hazel gave a sigh, moving to walk away after listening to Glenn. He did have a point, but this was just all hard on her. The did become stronger, but the pain was still there, she just knew how to handle it better now than she used to.

    --------
"Walkers!" Carl yelled as he looked back behind him after hearing the dead. He had just been enjoying the moment, asking Hershel if he wanted to race him. They had been able to find crutches for Hershel so he would be able to move around. Everything seemed to be the right moment until he heard moans behind him. Hazel had been standing next to Hershel, helping Lori in case Hershel had fell. A light smile planted on her lips while Sampson stood nearby, watching his father.

Hazel quickly turned around, her eyes widened as she saw dozens of walkers. The woman quickly pulled out her gun and began shooting, Carl and Sampson doing the same. Though there was too many to take out so they had to get out of there now. Hershel had been the closest to Sampson, "Dad!" He said to his father, moving to motioning him through the gate surrounding to the door inside. He went to guard his father, shooting the dead with his pistol.

T-Dog had been standing nearby as well, he watched with wide eyes as she noticed that they were now separated with the others. "The gate's open!" He yelled to Carol. They needed to close the gate as he realized that the walkers were coming from there. He shot his gun at close walkers, moving to the gate.

"Lori! Carl!" Hazel spoke out as she was able to clear a path for them. She opened one of the gates to get into the prison, moving to hold the door for the older woman and child. Carl went to shoot a few more of the dead before jogging to Hazel.

It took Daryl a bit to recognize what was going on as they were all the way down between the gates, getting some wood near the guard tower. He watched up at the group, though his eyes widened after seeing walkers appearing out behind the rest of the group.

  • (OOC: Sounds good to me!)

Lori had been smiling happily as she walked alongside Hershel. Things were looking up. The man had survived the amputation and they had even managed to find him some crutches. But, when she heard her son’s warning, she felt her heart fall into her stomach. Turning, she saw the walkers shuffling towards them. Not having time to really think on where they come from, she drew her gun and fired at one. Hearing Hazel, she nodded and quickly ran after her as best she could, making sure Carl was coming as well. After getting into the gate Hazel had opened, Lori looked back towards the others.

Hershel nodded at his son’s call and quickly began moving to where his son had pointed. Jimmy quickly moved after him, looking around to make sure he was covered. He took out a walker that was lumbering towards them. After Hershel got into the gate, he called out to Sampson and Jimmy, gesturing for them to come into. Jimmy backed into the gate, watching the walkers closely, keeping his gun raised.

Carol gave a nod of her head at T-Dog’s words. She took off after the man, shooting at the walkers that began to make their way towards them. How had the gate opened? Had it been one of the other prisoners. She didn’t dwell on it much. Rather, she focused on taking out walkers while T-Dog closed the gate. What she didn’t see though was one sneaking towards T-Dog while she was trying to clear out a few other walkers.

Glenn had been overjoyed to see Hershel up and moving around again. But, that joy was short-lived it seemed. When he heard Carl and saw the walkers, his blood ran cold. “Hazel!” He called out, hearing Rick calling out for them to get out of there as he took running, trying to get to them. Glenn, as much as he wanted to go after him to get to Hazel, knew he had to close the hole in the fence. More walkers would get in if he didn’t. He started closing the hole, glancing over his shoulder towards the others. Once it was closed, he took off after them.

Emma had been smiling along with the others as she watched Hershel making his way outside. It was a relief to see him up again. Suddenly, she heard Carl’s shout and glanced around. There, coming up behind the Hershel, Hazel, and the others, was a group of walkers. “Oh my god,” she breathed as she took off after Daryl and Rick, her heart pounding in her chest. She heard Rick calling out for the keys, which Glenn pulled out of his pocket and tossed to Daryl so he could toss it to Rick.

  • Hazel quickly closed the door once Lori and Carl was in, moving to look out for the others. She caught sight of Jimmy, Sampson, and Hershel, but not T-Dog and Carol. "Come on." She said to the two, knowing they needed to get back to their cell block. The woman shut the large door behind them, once they had been in the prison. She was first to walk to the cell block, though quickly turned around after three walkers appeared out of the cell. " Go that way!" She hissed to Carl and Lori.

Sampson moved after his father after hearing his father, also making sure Jimmy was okay as well. The man shut the gate door, watching with slightly wide eyes as the dead surrounded the area they had just taken out. Who had done this? Axel of Oscar? He didn't know but he hoped that the others would be safe.

T-Dog hadn't taken notice of the walker approaching him from behind as he went to close the gate. He had succeeded from anymore of the dead from coming, but just as he went to back up, the walker bit him right on the shoulder, tearing a chunk out of the flesh in his shoulder. He yelled out in pain before turning to take out the walker, shooting it in the head several times before throwing his pistol down after realizing he was out of ammo.

Daryl sprinted after Emma and Rick, knowing that they had to get to the others before it was too late. "Come on!" He yelled to Glenn, stopping and moving to look behind him at the younger man. Once Glenn had caught the keys, he moved to toss them to Rick before quickly running to catching up with Rick. He was eager to get to the group as well, worried for them.

  • Lori had followed Hazel into the cell block, hoping that the others were okay. When the three walkers suddenly appeared, she nodded at Hazel’s words and quickly turned. Making sure Carl was keeping up alright, she hurried towards a cell. It was hard to get around, considering how far along she was in her pregnancy, but she did her best to move quickly. She couldn't afford to be slow right now.

Hershel looked around at the walkers in the yard. How had they gotten into the prison? He glanced over at Sampson and Jimmy, glad that he knew they were safe. Though, he was still worried about the others. Was Hazel okay? He had lost sight of her at some point and he hoped she had managed to make it to safety. Jimmy stood beside Hershel, watching the walkers.

Hearing T-Dog’s scream, Carol turned. “No!” She screamed in horror when she saw that he had been bitten. As T-Dog killed the walker that had bitten him, she looked around to see more walkers moving closer to them. Seeing a door way they could go into him, she called out, “Hurry! In here!” She called out to T-Dog as she opened the door.

After getting his hands on the keys, Rick rushed forward and unlocked the first gate. Moving forward, he passed Axel and Oscar. “Out of my way!” He shouted to them as he moved to hurriedly unlock the next gate. They had to hurry and get to the others. Glenn meanwhile made sure the first gate was closed behind them after they all entered. He raced over to Rick as the man opened the next gate. Emma raced after them, rushing after Rick and the others as the gate was opened. Behind her she heard Axel call out, “Hey bro, what about us?” Rick sprinted into the yard, able to see that Hershel, Sampson, and Jimmy were safe inside one of the gates. Glenn and Emma started to take out walkers with their weapons, knowing they needed to get the yard cleared out.

  • Hazel quickly closed the caged door before the three walkers could reach them. She then proceeded into the prison, looking for a way to get out of this mess, or into a room they could stay in until the others got this under controlled, if they could. She kept her gun up high, Carl doing the same as he walked beside his mother. Hazel hoped Emma, Glenn, and the others were alright, though she had to get Lori somewhere safe.

"Come on!" Daryl urged Rick as he watched Rick eagerly try to open the second gate, glancing back at Glenn to see him close the other gate and lock it back. Once Rick had opened the gate, Daryl didn't even bother with the prisoners as they needed to get to the others as soon as possible. The man grabbed out in hunting knife and went to take out of the dead.

T-Dog leaned forward slightly as intense pain hit his shoulder, resting a hand on the bite wound. He followed Carol inside the prison after hearing her yell out to him, throwing his pistol down. "Y-You need to get back to the cell block." He grunted as he walked as fast as he could with a bitten shoulder.

    THIS PICTURE DESCRIBES EVERYTHINGGGGGG

    I loved, and I loved, and I lost you~

  • Lori kept ahold of her gun as she followed Hazel and Carl through the corridors. When the alarm began to blare, she winced. That sound would only draw in more walkers to the prison. As she rounded a corner, a pain lanced through her abdomen, making her grunt. She put a hand against the wall to steady herself. “Something’s not right,” She said to Hazel and Carl.

Glenn stabbed his knife into the forehead of another walker. He hoped Hazel and the others were okay. Hopefully they had managed to find somewhere safe. Emma stood a few feet away from him and Daryl, also taking out walkers. Rick did the same. As the yard was cleared, Glenn went off to check the chains on the gate. What he saw filled him with a sense of dread. Rick meanwhile turned to Hershel as the man said where he had last seen the others heading. A few moments later, Glenn came back to the others. “Those chains didn’t break on their own,” he announced to them, “Someone took an ax or cutters to ‘em.” Rick looked to Axel and Oscar. When Glenn asked if he thought they did it, he replied, “Who else?” Suddenly, an alarm began to blare.

“You should stop,” Carol said as she followed after T-Dog. They had to figure out some way to help him. “I’ll do what I have to. You’re not becoming one of those things!” She told him. She wasn’t going to just give up one him and abandon him. She could hear an alarm blaring and it was making her nervous. The sound would only draw in more walkers. How had it been set off?

  • Hazel quickly stopped, almost jumping as the loud sound of an alarm went off, though she quickly turned to look at Lori after hearing her. Her heart sunk to her knees, "Come on." She said to Lori, knowing that they needed to get back to Hershel. The woman went to help support Lori and started down the hall. Carl looked at his mother in confusion, but proceeded, keeping his gun up and aimed. "Back!" The boy suddenly yelled after seeing several zombies appear from around a corner. Hazel moved to turn onto another corner, following Carl. "In here!" The boy said to the two as he moved to open a side door to a machinery room.

Daryl moved to thrust his knife into the skull of one of the dead before moving to the next one, taking out as much as he could. Once they finished, he quickly turned to look at the two prisoners, assuming it was one of them. He quickly went to grab his crossbow and hold it up at the two after hearing the alarms go off, someone had to be doing this.

T-Dog shook his head, telling her that it was God's plan for him to die like this and get Carol back to the cell. The man then began telling her directions around the prison to help her get back to the cell block and to the others. He knew he wasn't going to make it, but Carol was still here and not bitten.

  • Lori was grateful for the support. “I think the baby’s coming,” she told Hazel. Of all the times. Maybe it was the stress and all the running that brought it on though. It was overdue after all. As Hazel helped her down the hallway, Lori felt some more contractions. She let out a few pained grunts as she tried to keep her breathing even. She went with Hazel into the room, and after getting away from the door, she paused for a moment to catch her breath, keeping ahold of one of the machines for support. She let out a pained sound and clenched her teeth, trying not to make too much noise.

Drawing his gun, Rick shot out the sirens he could see out here in the yard. Glenn also helped to take out another. Gun still in hand, Rick turned to Oscar and Axel, pointing his gun at them. “How the hell can this happening?” he asked them angrily, believing they were responsible for this. Emma stood back, glancing around warily, double checking for anymore walkers.

Carol didn’t know what to say to T-Dog’s words. She knew it’d be difficult to do something about the bite, considering its location. But, she still didn’t want to just give up. Swallowing, she glanced around at their surroundings before continuing after T-Dog. What had caused all this? How had the gate been opened and why were the alarms going off?

  • im not on netflix so Ill be off

Carl struggled with shutting the door, but he was able to shut it all the way, he listened as the walkers moved past them, though quickly looked up after hearing the alarm. He followed after Hazel and Lori, though stopping when his mother moved to lean up against one of the machines, worry rose in the little boy's chest. Hazel knew what this was, she knew that Lori was in pain. The young woman went to put a hand on her back in comfort, they needed to get back to Hershel but they couldn't. Hazel knew how to deliver a child, having done it a time before in the ambulance, but a c-section was something she knew little about.

Daryl kept his crossbow up at the two, wanting them to answer. Oscar was the first to answer, telling them that it must of been the back up generators, telling Rick what he needed to do or where they could possibly be, but he had only worked in there for a few days so he didn't know all the answers that Rick wanted to know.

  • (OOC: That’s okay! ^^)

Rick listened as Oscar answered his questions, his jaw clenching in frustration. Even though Oscar said he had only worked there a few days, he would know more about this than they would. Grasping the man by his shirt, Rick said, “Come with us.” Glenn glanced over at the others. “Let’s go!” he called out, gesturing for them to follow. Emma took off after them. Rick made his way back into the cell block. Seeing four walkers, he quickly took them out, all while looking for any sign of the others. After killing the last one, he called out for his wife and son.

Glenn meanwhile paused when he saw a small group of walkers starting towards them, moving to take one, then another. So far, he saw no sign of the others. He had no idea where Hazel was and he desperately hoped that she was safe. Emma took out another, also just as worried for the others. After the small group of walkers had been taking out, Glenn moved to follow Rick into the cell block.

Lori panted as she leaned against the machine for support, wincing as she felt another contraction hit. “There’s no way we’re going to be able to get back to cell block and find Hershel, isn’t there?” She asked aloud, looking over at Hazel. She already knew the answer, but she felt compelled to ask. She’d have to give birth here and pray that it worked out.
