We are the Tribe of Nix. The Tribe of Snow. For generations upon generations our ancestors have lived in the far north. We were first chased here by the humans causing our intense hate for them. Eventually we adapted to the environment and grew to love the north, the snow, and anything else that comes with it. Our fur has grown long, longer than that of an average wolf and we have become larger to be able to take down the massive prey that lurks in the north. At the age of a two years, a wolf must decide on a mate and be presented to the alphas for acceptance. If accepted, the wolves will be joined until death. If unaccepted, the wolves must each find new mates by the next year.

At six months, in the transition from pup to an active member in the pack, a wolf must leave the pack for one month to prove themselves worthy of being in the Tribe of Nix. If they come back they will be rewarded with their symbol, a small necklace with an animal on it, this animal is dependent upon the personality of the wolf. They will also be able to pick their new position.

The Alpha Male picks their mate, if younger than two years, upon first being appointed. This wolf will become the Alpha Female. The same applies to Betas and Deltas.

The Alpha Male's word is law, if he is away from the pack, the Alpha Female's word is law.

thankfully both pups recovered soon and were able to grow, fortuna showing promise over her brother. during their training, fortuna was able to grasp the position of beta, as the pair had both recently passed. her brother went on to be warrior, not overly jealous of his litter-sister but incredibly awestruck. how had such and uncaring wolf grabbed such a position? he saw how his sister handled her words, and noted of her crafty side. he had faith in her, but could not help but be slightly envious. fortuna on the other hand, was proud of herself, being able to hold a position of dominance meant that others would have to respect her-- to her face at the very least. she had not wormed her way for the position to just have power, she wanted such a position so that she could feed to her lazy side, allowing her the ability to lay about and allow others to decide or do things for her.
despite her laziness though, she does enjoy long runs alone throughout the territory. fortuna's attitude was born from her mothers constant mantra of ' you survived to be great ' type of deal. running simply to run allows her to feel energetic at times, even if brief. she's running to run, not bring something down.
