    Then suddenly, strange cats with thick accents came down the mountains that lay just beyond the coniferous wood. These strange cats told of monstrous enemies and scarce pray on the mountains and tried to force the rouges to share their land.




    The rouges however feared that they could not support so many large cats and so they fought back in protest. The battle that ensued caused many cats to lose their lives. Soon there were only a few from each side left.




    As the cats - both from the valley and from the mountain - sat defeated and no longer able to fight, a stranger appeared. A one time kittypet named Rainseeker saw the cats and decided to help them join together. They reluctantly began to form KindredClan.




    This was only a few sunrises ago. Can the rouges and mountain cats survive together? Can a clan really be formed in the midst of so many differences?

    Kindredclan is located in a small clearing on the northern side of Crescent Island. The northern border stretches all the way to the sea and warriors go here to hunt for crabs, gulls, and other beach dwelling animals. All cats are forbidden from going into the sea as there is usually a rough current. Just below the beach is a thick forest that provides herbs for the medicine cats and prey, but it is also home to predators such as foxes, badgers, and bears. The western border ends at a large stream where the clan may swim and fish as they please. Growing by the river is a large weeping willow known as the Great Willow. It is here that the apprentices train and warriors sun themselves. Beyond the Great Willow is the Moon Cave, where the medicine cats go to share tongues with StarClan. The eastern border ends just beyond the coniferous wood. The ground here is springy and covered completely in pine needles. It makes a great place for tree climbing and squirrel hunting. The southern border ends just before the Three Oaks, the place where gatherings are held, and is simply a large open plain.


    -- The Camp --


    The camp is located in an opening between the forest and coniferous wood. The walls are built from strong brambles and vines that were woven together by the rouges that once called this their home. The dens are woven from the same material and lined up along the perimeter of the camp. The only way into the camp is through a small opening. The top of the camp is exposed to the sky which allows sunlight to warm up the ground. Birds of prey avoid this area due to the large amount of cats.

    ♢ LGBTQ+ characters are allowed, however do not pressure other people's characters who are not the same sexuality into being your character's mate.

    ♢ For every apprentice you make, I'm requiring you to make at least one warrior. I'd appreciate it if you were able to make more than one, but it's not a requirement.

    Rainseeker - This is the leadership position named after the kittypet who created the clan. The cats who take this position change their name to Rainseeker in her honor and are awarded 9 lives.


    Deputy - Second in command. Takes the position of Rainseeker after the leader has gone to StarClan. A new deputy must be chosen that night before moon high.


    Guard - Cats who have been chosen for their fighting skills to guard the camp. Picked during warriorship.


    Warrior - These cats hunt and fight and make up the majority of the clan.


    Apprenitce - Cats training to be warriors. They start their training at 6 moons.


    Queen - Pregnant or nursing cats.


    Kit - A kitten aged below 6 moons.


    Elder - A retired warrior.

    Rougarou was born to a Turkish Angora with beautiful white fur who fell in love with a charming rogue. She was supposed to be mated with another Angora male, but when she gave birth to a litter of dark pelted, half breed kittens, her twolegs weren't happy. Rougarou and his siblings were taken from their mother after only a few weeks and unceremoniously dumped at the edge of a forest. Now on their own, the kittens were forced to learn how to survive, each of them learning a different skill. Rougarou ended up learning how to mend wounds and heal illness, a skill he used readily on any cats he met. When he was approached by a cat and asked to join them and serve as their healer, Rougarou didn't hesitate in following the cat. He knows others look down on him because he was a rogue and not a clan cat, but he tries not to let it bother him too much.
