Andromeda's feather plume wrapped around herself as she sat atop Lester's tower of boxes. After talking to him and experiencing the beautiful view, Lester said she could climb up here anytime she pleased. She was part of his "court", a little term she liked to use in remembrance of teasing him about his crafted tower. She even called him 'young king' all in good-natured banter of course. So she looked down, observing the moving forms of her Clanmates below. Not once, though, did she feel the slightest bit higher than the rest. Instead, she felt below herself. Finch, Florence, and Lester had paved a path for themselves and she was left stuck in the rut.

But there was one important family member that crawled into her mind, a family member she didn't know much about. Last time they made contact, the silver tabby had eyed her with a coiling snake of envy in her heart. Andromeda had tried desperately to coax the snake to hide, but it seemed her older sister Hera was going to be reclusive for a while. Reminded her of what she heard about Rosaline, and a grim emotion passed across her face at the thought of her mouth. Snorting, she lifted a paw and groomed herself atop her perch.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 470px; color: silver; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Hera had been exploring the territories outside of BloodClan's claimed pieces while her littermates had been spending time together. She had been to ThinderClan territory, the area in which the fourtrees were located, and planned to explore SkyClan territory next. She had brought actual excitement and curiosity in her life. As much as she wanted to flee the ship here, something held her back from doing so and that something happened to be her dear siblings. Sure, she knew Andromeda and Lester were definitely more fond of each other than they could ever be of her, but, despite, showing them the more cold side of her rather than the affectionate side she had potential of, she did cared deeply about them. Hell, she'd probably do anything for them as long as they didn't wrong her or betray her.

The silver tabby found herself at Lester's box tower today. After being quite elusive lately to the eyes of her siblings, she had made an appearance her of all places. No, but she didn't find Lester like she had expected to, but rather Andromeda instead. Ah, and her sister was a beautiful thing despite her young age. She had always thought of her as the prettiest of the two of them. But, perhaps that was because Hera didn't know her own beauty that she cared. It wasn't as clear as her little sister's was, but it was there, just in a different way that was hard to describe.

Sitting down in front of the box tower that stood before her, Hera angled her yellow gaze upward and greeted her sister. "Hello there, Ro." she said. Most people addressed her sister as Andy, but Hera had always found that to masculine for a pretty female like her sister. So, she addressed by a different nickname. Something that would make her sister remember her a little better.

Ro? She'd never been identified like that before, but she actually liked it. Andromeda had only ever been addressed as Andromeda or Andy, the latter only spoken by Dee. Her head lowered, her paws hung over the edge to see the source of the voice. At once, she gasped with surprise and her dark emerald optics widened and glowed with joy and shock. It was as if her thinking had magically summoned her sister!

A small graced her lips as she admired her kin. The tabby below looked airy, just as light and elegant as Lester, with the exception of a visible edge. Andromeda had looked to Lester for the greater things in life, like power and affection, but she'd always admired Hera's natural elegance. Elegance dripped off Andromeda like honey, too sweet and too thick but acceptable. It was not her nature, but she pretended it was as a defense mechanism from others. What Andy, or Ro, really was was a feline of silk and wine combined with a sense of humor and a rather witty nature. However, unlike Hera, Andromeda's edge was hidden in her even-temperedness. Given some time, though, she'd have a better understanding of herself.

"Hera!" she chirped suddenly, surprised at how excited she was to see the silver tabby. As she bounded down the boxes to land on the ground the tabby and white kitten realized something. A hidden ache welled in her chest, but was instantly quelled by the familiarity and sight of her older sister. "You've been gone for a long time! Are you ok? What have you been doing? Anything interesting?" Andy bombarded her sister with many questions, eyes round and bright as she searched Hera's yellow eyes. Alas, she couldn't contain herself any longer when her head was pushed into the other femme's chest. Inhaling a sweet, sharp scent, Ro exhaled with relief. It was hard to admit, but in all honesty Andromeda needed her sibling's support. Their minor appearance in BloodClan worried her often, and when she struggled with nothing to do, it was hard to turn to the older cats.[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 470px; color: silver; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]Hera really hadn't expected her sister to great with such excitement. Then again, it was her sister. Andromeda had always been rather expressive and lively as far as she got to see. It was always nice to see someone else who didn't quite fit the typical BloodClan persona of aggressive and rude. Luckily, both her siblings were a relief in that way. She didn't have to worry about them as much due to that.

"You've been gone for a long time! Are you ok? What have you been doing? Anything interesting?"

Hera just gave the long-haired female a soft grin. She didn't think she had been gone for a terribly long time, but maybe she had. She hadn't really expected anyone to really notice her a sense though. She had figured they were busy doing other things besides worrying about her. Perhaps, she was wrong. Obviously, someone had taken note of her a sense and that happened to be the one before her.

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine. I was just exploring the territories beyond the city, the ones that belong to those forest felines." she responded, relaxing a bit at her younger siblings touch to her chest. She would have taken her siblings with, but she figured they were busy doing other things or something.

She'd been... exploring!? A frown settled on Andromeda's face when she peeled her face away from the silvery she's chest. How come Hera hadn't taken her? Sure they hadn't talked much but... She'd been wanting to explore the outside of the warehouse for a long time now! However, there was always the fear of the unknown. She didn't her way around the forest territories, what if they attacked her? What if she ran into dogs? What if she got lost? The worst, amongst it all though, was what if she got attached? Despite being in BloodClan, Ro envied the life of luxury but also belittled it as everyone else did. It wasn't an attempt to fit in, but a coping skill she used even with thinking about her mother. If she loved something very much but was absent of it, she turned to hate. It was better, to have such a powerful feeling, because it wouldn't weaken her.

Her striped, feathery plume brushed against her sister's face teasingly, reflecting Hera's soft grin. "Hm, must be very exciting. Are they as weak as they sound?" she inquired, for Andromeda had heard many tales of the Clan cats. Then her voice lowered, and she looked about the warehouse for any hungry ears. Leaning in close, Ro whispered, "Can I come on an expedition sometime?"[/fancypost]

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 470px; color: silver; font-size: 8pt; text-align: justify;]And Hera planned to do much more exploring during her lifetime. There was plenty to see out there and, well, she had only gotten a mere glimpse at it all. She had met the male at the fourtrees and the cream tabby that claimed herself to be Dawnbreeze who lived among those that made up ThunderClan. Dawn had been a bit verbally aggressive towards her at first, but had lightened up to her the longer she had held a civil conversation. It had been a nice experience. She had walked away from it with more knowledge and much more curiosity to the outside world. One day, it would surely come in handy for the silver tabby.

Hera continued to hold that soft grin towards her sister while the fluffier females tail ran across her face and proceeded to ask more questions about her small journey. "I never got into a fight with any of those who I met, but I think their skills have been underestimated by our clanmates." she responded. Obviously, they had enough skill to survive pretty long despite BloodClan's various attempts to shut them down in the past. Hera had a feeling they were a lot more powerful than they looked especially all together.

"Can I come on an expedition sometime?"

Hera couldn't say she wasn't expecting that question and she was pleased that her dear sister had asked. She had intended on asking her if she wanted to come with sometime. "Of course. How could I leave my sister behind again?"
