  • If one looked hard enough, they'd see something other then the barren, snow covered moors that made up land for miles. It was a kitten bravely trudging it's way toward WindClan. Clearly this was where she wanted to go- Her little ears and chest were lowered with a most determined look, as if nothing would stop her. Though each step was becoming harder then the last. There was only so much her body could take before it succumbed to the bitter cold. Violent shudders had become present, and her muscles were going painfully stiff.

Unfortunately a few inches from the border was all that could be managed. Her legs simply gave out from beneath her and she tumbled headfirst into the soft ice, wincing at the stinging touch it gave.

He may have been an asshole but he still had a heart, if not a small one. "Hey, kid. Are you dead?" he hissed jokingly, -aiming to prod the crumpled form of the child to attempt to wake them up. He furrowed his nonexistent brows for a second, noticing how they breathed- labouriously, as if they were in pain. "You need a medic?"

There certainly seemed to be a lot of injured and unconscious strangers showing up at their borders recently. Redpaw would frown in concern as she padded over, the brown tabby noted that the child was still breathing, however shallowly. So no, she wasn't dead. [color=#E7B4B6]"We should get a medic," the fem muttered before leaning down. [color=#E7B4B6]"Hey, can you hear me?" Redpaw questioned.

At the mention of the need of a medic, Kate trotted over carefully, cautious of the ice below her hooves. She had a messenger bag of herbs and supplies draped over her large bag so she was partially prepared to assist. "Isth everything alright?" she asks in heavy concern, lowering her head down to the the kitten passed out on the ground. She came to the conclusion that the cold had beaten her down, which was not good. "Oh no..." she murmurs, looking Pendant over to see if she was suffering from anything like frostbite. She opened her bag and took out a blanket, carefully swaddling the stranger inside it's warm fuzzy embrace. "We need to get her insthide fast. I don't know how stheriousth thisth actually isth, but I don't want to risthk it."

Oh no. The pregnant female darted forward without pausing. Ripping her scarf off her neck and attempting to wrap the kit up in it. Trying to double the warmth. The shivers. Those shivers. The kit was freezing to death. "Do any of you have that fire power? We need it." She spoke as she then attempted to pick the kid up.

    thinking - speaking

  • Feeling someone prod at her side, she lifted her head with a snarl, prepared to open and snap her little jaws in the first stranger's direction. There were many creatures that had meant her harm before she'd come here. It was a protective measure she'd grown accustomed to taking. Though upon noticing the distinctive clanner scent, she soon realized this was not necessary and recoiled.

They had rules that said they were supposed to keep kits safe. Mommy had told her that, and Pendant had never known her to be wrong. She'd proven her knowledge to her daughter time and time again. But unfortunately, "..." The kitten found she couldn't exactly relay all of it, especially when it came to "medics". A confused and frustrated frown had written itself on her expression. Every single thing Mommy taught about clanners was paid attention to, she should know what that word meant!

But her little mind was drawing blanks, "Wha does med-?" She suddenly cut off as one of the clanners wrapped her up in a blanket and picked her up. The action had taken her by surprise, and quite honestly frightened her. As a result she found herself reacting protectively again. Which probably only made it seemed as though he blanket itself had come alive, grew some flailing arms and started hissing and growling at everyone.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=none; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; width: 370px;font-size:8pt;line-height: 130%;][justify]Cherviltea had arrived shortly after the others, just as Kate and Harley spoke, and shortly afterwards, the stranger began to writhe in their blanket, as if it was constricting them. His fictional brows knitted in a rather concerned manner, whilst he'd draw to a halt beside his group. "Calm down, this blanket is going to keep you warm, alright?" The canine would attempt to assure her, before gesturing towards Kate. "Kate here is a medic, she can help you." The collie added. "And I'm Cherviltea Xerses. We're all members of Windclan, and we want to help you." Hopefully, with an explanation, the child would be able to calm themselves a little, and allow for them to help. He could understand that it might've been somewhat.. frightened, by being thrown abruptly into the unknown, and a part of Chervil had to wonder as to whether they'd want to listen to him, or not.. But, he truly hoped that he had gotten through, somehow.
