she wasn't a new face to thunderclan.
mant moons prior, when she was a young apprentice, she'd visited to seek refuge from redwater. her fathers had led it, and she couldn't stand with them, but couldn't stand against them. she'd come for the end of dapplestars reign, and remained until her friends retirement. she missed dapplestar - or mangledheart, near the end.
they'd been enemies once. she'd rallied bloodclan to stand against the fem, to fight her. she'd had something of a mental breakdown, and a moon later, she'd gone to the leader and spologized for anything, everything, she'd done.
the more recent of her visits was to aid in the dog attack. her own son, sheogorath, had send the creatures wild into the territory, and palemoon had done her best to aid. to make amends for the monster she'd created, by his half-bloodclan birth and the name she'd given him. she wanted him to be strong and good and kind, she wanted her fathers name to go down with praise, if not for him then his grandson. instead, he'd been reincarnated. she'd lost the last of her litter, not to death but to bloodclan.
but thunderclan was her last sanctuary. she couldn't stay in riverclan, she couldn't handle the anger that bubbled and boiled in her chest.
she had no other option but to find a new home. so, palemoon took a seat in front of the border, the ten month old looking so much older and tired.
