It effected the youngest people of the world from ages 0-6 and the eldest members of the population 50+ the most to where they died off faster then the teenagers and the adults. It's been 50 years from the start of it and there is less then 25 percent of the Earth left then what it used to be. The virus is still around on the planet and can effect anyone at any time killing them. People have very very slim chance of living past 50 now and there is a strong chance that children will die before their 5th birthday due to the virus effecting them get harshly. The population keeps shifting up and down due to people dying and it seems that the world is failing and dying.


    This is all told in the eyes of a group of teenagers that call themselves the Destrians. They are a group of teenagers who have grown up through this and where in the small percentile of people born in this time living past the age of 5. Somehow their families disappeared for reasons or died leaving them on their owns before they found the little group of teenagers like them. After all, the teenagers have a greater chance of fighting of the virus, right? Why wouldn't they form a group as a form of protection against the more hostile groups who kill for supplies and shelter.


    During the first few weeks of this, maybe even days, people began to realize, this was gonna be harder than expected. The people that died had slowly began to come back as some type of reanimated corpse. The only way to kill them was the stab them in the brain, nothing else would kill them.


    This is their story. The story of their struggles to survive and make it past this horrible time to see if they can help save the planet in any way.

    This is basically a group of teenagers that were born in a rough time and didn't have parents to guide them as they grew up. The group is their family and practically all they have known. There is more hostile groups in the world that are left and will fight and even kill for things that they has to face along with predators such as big wild cats that have migrated from where they originally were and are now everywhere, and of course they have the zombies to fight off.


    When they are away from their camp they all assigned eachother little code names so their 'real identity' is saved from other hostile groups.


    It wouldn't be rare for them to see tattoos and piercings that they gave themselves. That doesn't mean they all have piercings and tattoos, but some do.


    They are nomadic and often travel after staying at a place for a week to three weeks. They like to keep moving so they don't get found by other groups and attacked.

    ii. This is an advanced thread, meaning 2 well written paragraphs and punctuation. I don't care what point of view you write in but, be consistent with it.
    iii. The ages. For the ages I am having it be between 13-19. That seems reasonable, right?
    iv. Faceclaims are required, I don't particularly like it when people use pictures that don't even have the same face.
    v. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues. No one is perfect and I don't expect anyone on this thread to be.

    CODENAME firecracker. he earned himself this nickname because of his wildly changing moods, and because of the fact that he is so reckless and spontaneous, and his carelessness gets him in trouble sometimes. he's also a bit disorderly and all over the place in terms of material things and his emotions, and for some reason, the word just seems to fit with his determined and competitive nature and all of his drive, impatience, inability to make proper connections with others, and charisma.

    CODENAME fish, and i bet you can guess as to why he received this nickname and if not, i'll tell you. he was named after that one disney fish, nemo. he tries to change it and pronounce his name as something edgier, like sharknado, instead because he feels like the name is undermining of him but people don't take him seriously so he reminds fish.

    PERSONALITY much rather would avoid your conversation, and suspectedly to be angry most of the time by those who pick on him, nemo is the kind of boy that would rather play video games and spew on his own adventures with a small group of his close friends rather than hang out with a bunch of people he barely knows and try and throw middle school parties. Nemo is stubborn, and often tries to appear as if he hardened around the edges when really he's got the soul of a sponge cake on the inside. He's not the most popular, nor does he aim to be, preferring to not catch anyone's attention if possible, but is often the victim of bullying from time to time, but he tries not to let that bother him. If you wound him up enough however, there might be a time he snaps. Nemo has a one track mind and there are times where he can stray away from one thing or sometimes be even forgetful. But overall, Nemo is an overall hopeless romantic for a boy of age of thirteen (he hasn't realized this yet because he never dated) and when nervous, can be quite talkative. He's loyal with actions often depended on his feelings. When he cares, he cares strongly and has a leaderly streak about him.
