Massive ears would rotate ever so often as Armitage seemingly appeared to be listening for something. After quite sometime did he end his search, a growl of frustration drawing itself out of the back of his throat. Contracting the muscles in his legs, the dane attempted to rise to his paws, but the ruined tendons in his hind legs prevented him from doing so. Hindquarters collapsed back onto the ground, his front legs following soon after. There was no way he could leave this place in his condition. While his wounds were beginning to close, it would be a long time before his legs became functional again. Expelling a breath, Hux rested his head upon his paws, eyes narrowing as he watched a small cluster of children tumbling about. As they neared, one of the kitten's fell into Hux, spooking him and causing his to snap at the kitten. Frightened, the child squeaked and raced off, cowering behind the others.

He remembers a time where he was so sleep deprived, that when a bunch of kittens came playing outside his den, he threw large rocks and other dangerous items at them to make them get the hell away from his resting area. "Not a kid-friendly type of guy, are ya'?" Don snorted with a quirk of his eyebrow. The abnormally massive tiger would take a seat at a fair distance. Although the action was just some kind of instinct from being startled, the tiger wouldn't hesitate to tease.

"Considering I've raised three of my own, no." Children were only good for... Well, not much. His children's mother had died on a mission when they were young, turning Hux into the main guardian. "What do you want?" the canine inquired rather sharply.

Don casually mentioned. Actually, from the beginning he knew he would get negative reactions, but that didn't stop him from trotting over. The abnormally massive beast would tilt his head. "I guess I came to the wrong guy." He sighed. Nowadays everyone was so serious and annoyed--he was a hypocrite because Don tended to slip into moments where he has uncontrollable anger.
