    </woltlab-spoiler></span></p>
    <p><woltlab-spoiler data-label="Plot"><span style="color: black">Demonic creatures known as Kegare roam a parallel universe known as Magano, where everything looks just like hell and acts just like that living nightmare. That being said, there are still the exorcists who use spell power, talismans, and their guts to purify those Kegare. The strongest of those exorcists, however, are a group called the Twelve Guardians, who inherit the powers the 12 familiars had decided to pass on to them. (More on 12 Guardians below)

    <p><woltlab-spoiler data-label="Plot"><span style="color: black">Muse A is known as Suzaku of the Twelve Guardians, the Vermilion Bird, and the only exorcist that is ever allowed flight until he either dies or cannot continue as an exorcist anymore. When he was sent out from Kyoto to eliminate a Basara in Narukami, he enters an area filled with miasma, only to discover that Muse B, an ordinary highschool student, has followed him inside.

    <p><span style="color: black"><woltlab-spoiler data-label="Plot">Due to the amount of miasma, Muse A is completely shocked, because only people who have more spell power can defend against the horrible atmosphere. Noticing that Muse B is completely fine, it only raises his suspicions. Once the duo take care of the Basara, Muse A takes Muse B to Kyoto to speak with the head Exorcist about what to do with them. Coincidentally, the spot for one of the 12 Guardians is open (One of your choosing), and with Muse B's immense amount of spell power, Muse B is put underneath the training of Muse A, which would further enhance their friendship. A few days later, they are to discover that they hold the roles as the Twin Star Exorcists. (More about them below) From there, the roleplay would continue.</woltlab-spoiler>
    </span></p>
    <p><span style="color: black"><woltlab-spoiler data-label="More Information">There is Suzaku, Taijō, Tenkū, Seiryū, Genbu, Daion, Kōchin, Rikugō, Tenkō, Tōda, Kijin, and Byakko, all with their distinct powers. Some, however, are completely unknown.<br><strong>Suzaku</strong> is the Vermilion Bird, the one with the only power to allow flight and is only available to the people with the best optical range. Their wings are not just only for flying, they can also be used for attacks.<br><strong>Byakko</strong> is the Tiger, in which summons an inhuman white arm with several claws, only allowed to be worn by the one most willing to use their strength to protect.<br><strong>Daion</strong> allows the manipulation of dolls, and can force them to grow larger, as if to act as some sort of mega suit.<br><strong>Rikugō</strong> summons a powerful Scythe that requires great strength and will to even hold, and can summon an arrow that can kill an almost-Basara Kegare. <br><strong>Tenkū</strong> can summon a celestial avatar, a giant robotic figure. The attacks include Destroy: releases a massive blast of energy from its hands, and Rising Dark Room- One of the abilities of the Avatar, she makes a blue ball that shoots a beam<br>The person who holds the title of <strong>Seiryū</strong> can summon scaled gauntlets that can extend with such an inhuman speed, they can make sharp turns and pierce their enemy. <br><strong>Genbu</strong> is the more defensive, able to summon an enchanted barrier that defends against attacks from impurities. They can also pour out water, which is propelled through a target and then reflected off several mirrors to hit the target multiple times.<br><strong>Kōchin</strong> can control the earth element with their own will. They can enchant their hammer and strike it against the ground, using the earth to their benefit. They can also use a similar method to set up barriers.<br><strong>Tenkō</strong> can unleash every single one of their talismans, and forms guns, in which vary with how much spell power they put into summoning those guns. They can pick up two guns at a time.<br><strong>Kijin</strong> can slice through their enemies and bring destruction even without talismans, and are the strongest of the Twelve Guardians. They require several, several, several years of training, exorcising Kegare, and a very clear mind. <woltlab-metacode data-name="s" data-attributes="">Not recommended for your OC</woltlab-metacode><br><strong>Tōda</strong> has one of the most destructive and chaotic powers, and requires a calm mind in order to operate their moves, such as flying serpant.     <p><woltlab-spoiler data-label="More Information"><span style="color: black"><strong>Basara</strong>, also known as Kegare Corruptions, are humans who are corrupted by Kegare, and become kegare themselves. They are much stronger, can eat up/use their spell power, and require the 12 Guardians to work in groups in order to defeat one.

    <p><span style="color: black"><woltlab-spoiler data-label="More Information">The <strong>Twin Star Exorcists</strong> Are not twins, in fact, they are two people, one a male and one a female whose fates are to intertwine, to fall in love, and bring forth the Miko who is rumored to stop the battle between Kegare and mankind.</woltlab-spoiler>

Glancing down to his side to check if he had his talismans ready at hand, he could see people backing up in their shock. <strong>"I-isn't that Hideaki? The person who has the title of Suzaku?"</strong> He could hear them mutter, in which caused him to sigh. Despite the huge power difference, it wasn't as if he wasn't even human.
    <br><br>Upon explaining the reason why he was there, the masculine couldn't help but look at the large crowd one last time. <strong>"If there's this much miasma and this many people who had to flee, this Basara is pretty strong. Perhaps it would have been a better idea to come with at least one or two more Guardians..."</strong> He muttered, finally picking up his head and marching into the potent mist.
    <br><br>Once he could sense that the miasma was basically cloaking him, he pulled out a single talisman, one of the few that only Suzaku could hold. Glancing around him to see if there were any Basara or Kegare around, what sharpened his cerulean and green gaze was the sight of a girl. <strong>"What are you doing here?"</strong> He demanded coldly, frowning.<br>[/fancypost]

    ic: Tansho definitely did not imagine herself ending up here. All she did was pass through the strangely broken fence right by the side of the road, and there she was. Some weird area she had never seen before. It was around 5 pm, school had ended an hour ago, and whilst the female student was making her way home, she couldn't help but wonder what was inside. She heard strange noises, but that didn't stop her from going through the small indent in the fence that was ripped open. It was almost as if someone purposefully got through. Letting out a small hum, Tansho continued her way through the road that was on the other side of the fence.




    Pacing her way through the dirty ground, it was undeniably a very odd place. Dusk was all around her, and it was as if someone turned on a smoke machine. Whilst behind her, the sunlight was still visible, everything in front of her began to turn into nothing but darkness. She noticed the footsteps on the path, figuring someone else broke through and got into here.




    Tansho stopped the moment she noticed a tall, male figure in front of her. His eyes caught her attention immediately; they were different colors? "E-Excuse me? I should be asking what you are doing here, I simply followed your footsteps." The female explained, crossing her arms and raising a brow. The boy's cold tone slightly intimidated her, he wasn't from school, in fact, she had never seen him before. "Who are you, exactly?"

    Tsking in disappointment, Hideaki strolled up towards the other juvenile, observing her appearance up and down. "Hasn't anybody told you never to follow an exorcist with a black uniform into dark mist?" Raising an eyebrow as if he wasn't impressed, he slipped his talisman back into his talisman holder. "And to answer your question, my name is Hideaki. If you call me Suzaku or something else- that's all up to you." Narrowing his eyes in further suspicion, he turned away, instead pulling out another talisman. "You seem to have some spell power, perhaps you can assist me in this Basara mission." Holding the small piece of paper between two of his fingers, three words were made loud a clear. "Magano Gate- Open!"




    The calligraphy written on the paper seemed to vanish from the paper, reappearing in front of the duo with a golden light. With the patterns extending, the lines representing the gate moved forward. Once passed, the dead, yet parallel, universe known as Magano replaced the world they once stood in. "Now for the Basara..." He muttered, crossing his arms.

    ic: An exorcist? Now that was new. Of course, people over at her school would talk about them for days, but she was skeptical about them actually being real. She never encountered a Basara before, thus that led her to the conclusion that it was all just a myth. But this time, her idea has been proven to be wrong. The female blinked a couple of times as she watched him, eyeing him from top to bottom. "Even if I was told that I wouldn't listen, Hideaki-kun, a-and--" before she could finish her sentence, the male had turned away already.




    Tansho couldn't help but roll her eyes slightly, sighing. He didn't even ask my name, how impolite.. She huffed, before figuring it would be a good idea to follow him. She wasn't going to leave this place that easily. Besides, this seemed like a start of an adventure for her, so why not? As the girl was about to walk closer, her eyes widened when Hideaki spoke once more. "A spell what a what?? Me?! Help you?! What are you on abo--" again, her words were cut off by the gate that had opened before them. The young girl watched, being completely awestruck by the sight. "W-Wait how in the world did you even do that?! Don't tell me I can do something like that!"




    Tansho wasn't simply confused, she was a little terrified too. What did he mean by her being able to help with his mission? What mission was he talking about? The female yelped as everything around them began to disappear, and instead had been replaced by a world she had never seen before. Everything happened too quickly for her to process. Oh goodness, what mess did I get myself into..

    "Huh? Are you telling me that you don't have a single exorcist in your family, and you're standing here? I channeled through the talisman with my spell power, that's simple knowledge." Shrugging, the masculine continued to frown in his concern. "And if you were an ordinary person, you would have passed out with that much miasma. The more spell power you have, the more immune you are to it. So if you don't want me to tell you that you can summon the gate from Magano and Reality, then I won't- but I will say that you could."




    Pulling out a sword-like object, it happened to look as if he could do nothing with it. After all, it looked slightly cracked in some areas, but then again, Hideaki readied yet another slip of paper. "Whatever you do, don't stray away from me. If you do, then you can say that your death-bed is going to be inside a Kegare's stomach." Strolling forward, he continued to give no signs of emotion besides how focused he was. "And there aren't many exceptions to that rule."




    Burrowing his chin a little further into his muffler, the male could see no sign of the Kegare-Corruption just yet. There were some smaller Kegare roaming around, but he was sure that they knew to steer well clear away from him~ he was sure that he had demonstrated his power to this area a little more than enough times already. That was how mysterious Narukami was, there were more Kegare than any other place, and their strength was rather abnormal.

    ic: Tansho gulped quietly, rubbing the back of her head whilst she looked completely lost. She couldn't have come from an exorcist family, her family had never mentioned having some sort of powers, but they could easily have been hiding it from her with some sort of purpose. "Well, quite frankly I am pretty sure I do not come from an exorcist family, I have no knowledge what's so ever about this whole thing, n-no one has taught me anything!" The female shouted as she followed close behind him. Whatever this place was, it definitely did not look welcoming, and as much as she didn't want to, she needed to pay attention to what Hideaki was telling her. From what she had heard already, apparently, she wasn't an ordinary kid, and that did seem a little concerning.




    The female sighed slightly as she realized they needed to run through this place, otherwise she'd be left stranded around here with some abnormal creatures trying to eat her. Tansho wasn't all about physical acitivity, she despised it greatly, but guessing that she had no other choice, she followed as closely as she could by Hideaki. Her red orbs glanced towards him, and she noticed just how focused he was on running. Does he himself even know where we're going? Goodness..I have so many questions.. She tried to get rid of all her thoughts, it seemed like a fairly critical situation they were in right now, Kegare were all around them, yet they didn't dare come close to them?




    "W-Why aren't they attacking us?" Tansho mumbled as she noticed the creatures in the distance, nearly stumbling over her own feet, but luckily she didn't let herself fall. "H-How long until we get to place we need to be in? Ahh I have so many questions, Hideaki-kun, at some point you're gonna have to explain everything!" Tansho spoke loudly, seeing as he was very focused and probably wouldn't hear her that easily.

    Pulling into a stop, Hideaki tried his best to retain his annoyance. "I know this is sudden, but judging by how potent the Miasma is, even I can't purify the Basara without somebody in the rear. Don't ask any questions, just follow my instructions." Pulling out a few of his talismans for himself, Hideaki undid the talisman holder around his waist, extending his hand to give it to the female who he was yet to identify. "These talismans are some of the more basic ones, you will provide support from the back. The two you need most are here." Holding up two slips of paper with Arresting Hold and Air Fissure Bullet scribbled on them with black ink, he placed them back where they originally resided. "Just make sure not to bind me, or we're both dead."




    Upon waiting for the student to hastily tighten the strap around her waist, Hideaki crossed his arms. "And to answer your last two questions, I've been visiting Narukami frequently, so Kegare are at least smart enough to stay away. For your final one, I would say that if you choose the life of an Exorcist, then perhaps somebody can explain. I cannot be certain that this person will be me." Beginning to walk forward, it was still a bit of a surprise that the Basara had not come around yet. With so much spell power he just so happened to contain, they would have immediately come to pursue him.

    ic: Tansho stared blankly at the talismans that the male had given her, examining them in her hand. She figured it's best if she didn't ask any questions for now, she could tell Hideaki was becoming fairly annoyed not only by her presence, but by the fact she knew absolutely nothing of how this was supposed to work. I swear if I fail I can already see the end of me.. "How am I even supposed to activate these.." She muttered quietly, feeling a little intimidated by all the talismans. Tightening the holder on her waist, Tansho looked up as she listened to the boy intently. All she could really do is obey for now, considering if she made just a tiny mistake, it would end both of their lives.




    Aside from all that, Tansho did feel quite excited. She could only really dream about being able to use magic, or anything of that sort, she could only see such things in movies, and was almost covinced that nothing like that even existed in the real world. The young girl definitely felt like not just your average human, she was far more than that, surprisingly. Out of all people, Tansho felt like she was the last person who'd have abilities like these, especially since during weekends all she really did was sleep through the entire day. The life of an exorcist, huh..Doesn't sound too bad to me, that's better than going to school every single day~ Tansho thought with a small, but evident grin on her face.     "Yes, the species we call them are Basara. Don't take this subject lightly, Arima-sama called me out and told me to take care of this situation all while I'm down in Kyoto. As for where he is..." He abruptly paused, holding his sword-like object and talisman a little higher as an explosion took place in front of the pair around twenty meters away. "He is already here."




    Once the dust and the smoke had subsided, a single being with pure black skin and one demonic eye simpered as they stared down at them. "How fun, I have the honor of taking the head of one of the legendary Twelve Guardians..." He mused, clasping his hands behind his back and leaning forward. "And he's brought a little girl whom I can play around with once they are both dead, yes, yes. Welcome to your death-beds, puny humans!"

    late cause for some reason i decided to try baking but then realized that i suck at cooking in general so just lied on the couch reflecting on my life ?? then got distracted and scrolled through social media on my phone then decided pizza wasn't enough so hoarded a bunch of snacks and just ate those T.T




    ic: "HE'S ALREADY WHAT--" before Tansho could say anything else, the explosion had strartled her, making her stumble over and nearly faceplanted right next to Hideaki, but thankfully she had caught herself mid-air, and got back up. The wind from the explosion paced towards them, collecting dust and dirt off the ground. The female quickly put a hand up to her face, protecting herself from all the possible things that could hit her in the face. She stood behind Hideaki, watching as an actual monster was standing right before them.




    Ahh I take my words back..when did I sign up for this I never signed up for this I'm just a simple school girl living a simple life who said I ever had to go through this and WHAT in the WORLD is that thing in front of us?!.. The female's thoughts were all over the place as she stared at the Basara, her burgundy eyes full of shock. "H-How terrifying, do you seriously have to go through seeing these things everyday.." Tansho mumbled behind Hideaki, her mouth forming the shape of an 'o'. But she couldn't possibly be standing there looking helpless, the girl figured since she had powers herself, there was nothing to be scared of, right? She just needed guidance, that's all. Tossing his talisman, the scribbles enlarged themselves, only then did he thrust the object he was holding into the patterns. What he ended up holding the next moment was an enormous blade, but he wasn't finished yet. "Vermilion Wings, come forth!" At once, robotic wings sprung from his back, yet another two talisman that only Suzaku could hold.




    "Imagine your spell power, stored inside of you. Hold out either of the two talismans I showed you from before, and imagine that it's flowing into the talisman. I'm going to draw his attention away, hold him still or attack him so I can get an opening, you got that?" Springing into the air, Hideaki left no time for questions or answers.

    late cause it was actually like 1 am where i live so i wanted to sleep but then decided nope and played pokémon instead, and then it was 2 am but there was really strong wind outside so i couldn't fall asleep but eventually i fell asleep and now i slept in




    ic: "Hmph, well I had to scare that Basara somehow so it wouldn't think I'm the weakest one here.." Tansho mumbled back to him, narrowing her gaze slightly. Seriously, he's colder than ice.. The girl watched as Hideaki activated one of his talismans, the large blade appearing in his hand, as well as two, robotic wings that were now visible behind his back. Tansho's eyes widened as she gulped in, realizing that the only person who could defeat the Basara was him, not her. She has never trained for this, and now he expected her to just hold out a talisman and get it right from the first time? Tansho seemed a little skeptical about that, but they didn't have enough time.




    Nodding to Hideaki, who had already sprung up and left her on the ground, the female took out one of the talismans, she figured it was the one which enabled the Air Fissure Bullet. Taking a deep breath in, the high school student tried to do exactly what Hideaki had told her. She shut her eyes, before holding out the chosen talisman, and in mere seconds, it had been activated. Tansho couldn't believe herself, was she actually able to use spell powers without having any background knowledge of them? As the scribbles had enlarged, the talisman had transformed into a large group of flying bullets, that were flying towards the Basara at such a high speed, they were definitely cutting through the air.

    Darting to the side to avoid getting hit by any bullets, Hideaki took the opportunity to attack, swooping in to make his first move. "Not bad for her first talisman, but she needs more aim..." He murmured, only to realize that he had disobeyed the one rule for an Exorcist~ never lower your guard.




    The next thing he knew, he was slammed into the ground, none other by a bunch of strings that were controlled by the fingers of the Basara. "Now that's no fun, I thought an exorcist was supposed to make sure that they always made sure of what is happening around them? Goodness, right on the first move too!" Pressing his fingers to his temples while shaking his head in disappointment, he only turned to target Tansho. "Might as well crush the both of you, don't you think that it's a good idea?"




    Not quite out of the woods just yet, Hideaki managed to sit up in the little hole his body had created due to the impact with the ground. Using his left hand to wipe away some blood underneath his azure-hued optic, he managed to thrust himself back into the air, completely fine despite the several grazes and bruises he had just earned himself.

    late cause i overslept, then decided i had no motivation to do anything so slept again, then realized it's like almost 12 pm, so now i'm trying to not fall asleep again




    ic: Whilst Hideaki was up there together with the Basara, Tansho couldn't contain her excitement. She just activated a talisman, she just made those bullets fly up, even if her aim wasn't that great, she did it. "DID YOU SEE THAT?! I AM POWERFUUUULL!" Although the female obviously hadn't done much of a significant damage to the Basara, she was just happy that something she was absolutely sure she could not do actually worked. Tansho jumped on her spot, her arms flailing around like she was some kid who just heard they'd be going to an amusement park so now they couldn't stop shouting and laughing and grinning. But there clearly was no time for that.




    The female's eyes darted towards Hideaki as she saw him loose focus and be attacked by the Basara. She blinked a couple of times, her expression full of shock. "H-Hideaki!!" Tansho screamed, unable to yet see if he was alright or not due to the dust that surrounded that area, but once it had cleared up, she noticed that he was moving, and had already sprung up to continue fighting the Basara. Right now came the worst part, though. The Basara was after her. Taking a few steps back, the female shook her head. Oh no no no no.. She took a deep breath in. Okay, I've got no one to guide me right now, but I can do this by myself..I know it.. Tansho closed her eyes once more to concentrate, taking out the same talisman as before, seeing that it was best to attack him from a distance. This time, she didn't just envision the bullets darting towards the enemy, she tried to make sure she controlled them in place, so they wouldn't be flying off into different directions.

    Shaking his head to rid of his blurred vision, Hideaki could only catch a glimpse of Tansho's second attack. Using the bullets as a distraction, only did he finally manage to throw in a blow or two. His combat boots skidding against the ground and kicking up dust behind him, he didn't dare to even glance to the side again~ if he kept loosing his point of focus, he was bound to die. No, that was just part of the deal- they were both going to die.




    "No need to celebrate until I can actually exorcise him, neophyte!" He had called over, narrowing his optics. "Just focus on your job, and I'll focus on mine." Grunting as he hovered around ten or so centimeters off of the ground of Magano, he began to greatly reconsider their chances. Even if we keep this up, we'll just end up using up all of our spell power. I'd like to use my Trump Card, but if I do, then it needs to have a guaranteed victory for us...

    ic: Tansho huffed slightly at Hideaki's loud comment, but realized that he was kind of right. It was way too early to celebrate, they haven't even hurt this Basara in any way. Luckily, her bullets did distract it, and Hideaki could finally damage it with a strong attack. The female panted lightly, doing all this focusing for spell powers wasn't an easy task, she knew the fatigue was coming, yet she needed to keep herself together. As much as she began to dislike Hideaki for his harshness, she wasn't going to leave him alone here. Although it did seem like he could take care of this Basara all by himself, without the help of a rookie like her. What good am I if he's a professional exorcist..And I'm a mere highschool student who just so happened to have powers..




    When the Basara had moved to focus on Hideaki, Tansho held her head slightly. There was a slight buzzing sound that made her feel weak in the knees, but she kept herself together.
