Rivermist couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, casting a brief glance at Briarpaw. She didn't want to endanger her apprentice; she had been entrusted with his safety and he was hardly capable enough as of yet to take on a fox. "Good to know, Rivershade," she thanked the other warrior with a soft smile, "you all were awfully brave to drive it off."

the tortie looked up when her name was called looking at the tom and listened to what he was saying. her eye slightly narrowed before nodding her head "stonepaw, good job. i'll look into it right now foxthistle, in fact you and stonepaw can come along." her eye looked over at the apprentice "that is if you want."

Stonepaw's head shot up, his blue eyes round with both surprise and anxiety. "Err," he hesitated, "o-okay." The thought of going after the fox unnerved him, but at least it would give him something fun to talk to Robinpaw about when they both returned to the apprentices' den later on.

"Alright." Redpaw nodded and shuffled his paws crouching. He dashed at his mentor, looking like he was going to attack head on. Then he dodged to the right, slashing at Darkfall, dodging to the left and doing the same. He was trying to confuse his mentor, but he was smart and Redpaw wasn't sure it was going to work.
Faywhisker looked out at the entrance. "Oh I woke up a while ago, I believe I was out of the den before you checked the herbs." She glanced back over at him.

fleckstar smiled at the apprentice moving to his side "your brave for coming along," she purred. turning to foxthistle walking over to him "alright, lets go." the tortie didn't want to wait even if it was just one fox they were still dangerous. she stopped at the entrance looking over her shoulder at her new companions.

Mudstream nodded as he got to his paws "well it was nice talking to you faywhisker." He dipped his head and started towards the enterence to go on his morning walk/look for herbs.

Stonepaw's ears warmed under the praise of his leader, and he glanced sheepishly at his paws as he padded alongside the others.

RiverShade glanced at RiverMist. "It's not bravery that helps you. I was as scared as any kit could be if it saw a huge fox even if it was injured and frail it could have really hurt me, but it's my job to protect the clan. Just like it is for any warrior." He said wrapping his tail around his back legs.

The patrol found a wounded fox anf two leg trash. They moved t off the land.

fleckstar smiled at the two then paused for a moment looking along for heavystar. "you two stay here. i'll be informing heavystar," she told the two toms as she moved to the white furred tom. he couldn't have gone that far since she was sure he hadn't left camp yet.

Lichenbreeze sat quietly in camp, his long pelt ruffling slightly with the faint tickle of wind that brushed by. Mute green eyes flicked around the clearing solemnly, trying to catch the opportunity to spark up a conversation with someone. He would rather have a one on one conversation with his clanmates, but if he was to join a group, he was perfectly fine with that, though he was a tad bit awkward at that point. Standing, his expression was hopeful as he started padding softly around camp
