Brindlepelt looked over. "I will have you go, but then I will leave, leaving Foxthistle to lead this patrol." She then separated herself from the rest of them, hurrying acrost the camp back into the tunnel, to the training area. "6 cats are in the patrol, so I decided they would be better off without a 7th. Foxthistle is in charge of it." She told Fleckstar.

RiverShade grinned. "Well I guess we won't have to worry about CrystalClan attacking us." He said hinting to the fact their were going to be 6 cats on this patrol. He glanced at the cats avoiding eye contact with FoxThistle for obvious reasons. The big tom then lashed his tail.. not in an angry way just slightly impatient. He shuffled his big paws casting another glance around the cats.
(OCC: RiverShade is the weirdest character I have ever played. He enjoys conversations, but he still feels uncomfortable and even slightly unwelcome among these cats... and he isn't very aggressive either.. Man I can't even figure out my own characters thoughts XD)

Foxthistle twitched his ear, watching all of the group. He then led them out into the forest toward CrystalCLan border. When they arrived, he sniffed along the edges, CrystalClan's fresh over theirs. He muttered something, then started to refresh their border.

The tom glanced around as he drifted into thought. He knew battle training was what he wanted to do, but he hadn't been thinking about exactly what they would be training. "I will assess what you know," he stated. He flattened his ears slightly. He had sounded detached and cold. Hastily, Darkfall added with a faint grin, "Then we will see how to progress from there." he gestured with his head to one of the caves many extensions as he padded down a well worn path.

The white and calico she cat watched the patrols depart from her spot near the den. She sat with her chin raised and ears angled for the slightest sounds. She trusted her Clanmates. She hoped they trusted her, but she couldn't help but feel uneasy. Like she was being watched. She quickly scanned the cats departing and assessed each one, trying to remember them. Foxthistle was just as prickly as his name. One of the deputies. Cindertail was the she cat who had a crush on Darkfall. A good group of cats. Trustworthy. Clan born... she flattened her ears, turning her head to look at the cave wall.

fleckstar eyes perked at the return of her deputy nodding her head "okay. go see if the medicine cat is low on herbs, accompany them on their outings until the snow lightens up," she told the other molly before looking at the grey tom. "well the most easy attack is the frontal blow. you just use your forepaws to swipe a blow at whomever your fighting," she explained letting out a chuckle. without her right eye sometimes her hits weren't the most accurate but they were powerful whenever she landed one.

"Alright, but I haven't seen them yet..." She turned her head back to the entrance, and sighed.

Briarpaw looked up at Rivermist. He padded into the training area, and even though his paw hurt, he practiced some moves. First, he stood on his hind legs and took his claws down into an imaginary cat's shoulder, leaping to the other side before the imaginary cat could swat him, then he landed a bite into its neck.

Redpaw nodded. "Great!" He smiled. "I hope I don't disappoint you." He trotted after his mentor not bothered by the cold anymore. He trotted into the cave and looked around all the while reciting the battle moves his mentor had tought him and ones he had seen being performed.

The tom was suddenly immensely glad that he was walking in front of Redpaw. The scowl across his face had nothing to do with heading into the caves, but everything to do with his past. The younger tom sounded so much like a younger version of himself, trying to please his mentor and earn his place amongst the Clan. "I'm sure you won't disappoint me," he dipped his head to the younger cat.

Redpaw purred and looked around. "What's first?" He asked and pricked his ears swishing his tail back and forth.

fleckstar watched the apprentice with a smile and nodded her head. "good job stonepaw," she mewed though it was a very easy move though was great in battle if he landed it. her tail wrapped around her paws, she wished snakepaw was this obedient like stonepaw, no comment or back talk. "now how about the teeth grip? you attempt to grab your oppenent's leg, scruff, or tail with your teeth as said in the name. this can allow you to have your claws free to use on the other cat," she explained to the grey tom.

Faywhisker trotted over to Mudstream, the other medicine cat. "Hello mudstream." She sat down next to him and curled her tail around her paws. "I checked the herbs this morning, did you re check them?" She looked over at him, pricking her ears. (If you didn't know, she is also a medicine cat)
