  • // do leaders share a den?

the tortieshelled molly poked her head out of the leaders' den her tail twitching. a whistle moving through the caves as winds blew inside as well as the cold. a small sigh left the feline's mouth as her eye peered out of the cave where there was sleets of snow. there was a small annoyed look on her face though she could only hope it would lighten up. slowly fleckstar got up to her paws looing back at the nest she wanted to stay in for just a while longer.

  • [align=center][color=white]OOC: Yes and no. The leader's den is kind of split. There's only one entrance to the leader's den, but inside there's what looks like a doorway for another den that's connect to it, so it's two dens in one. :-*
    I'll rp in a second

// please excuse the fancy post, the pictures are messed up atm!

Snakepaw was sitting at the entrance of the apprentice's den, shivering and curling his black tail over his chilled paws. His teeth chattered and he folded his ears, trying to preserve as much body warmth as possible. "[b]Great StarClan, its freezin'." The British tom growled, the cold only making him more irritable. "We'd better not be training today." He muttered.

    ic& Cloudleap
The calico Maine coon lie quietly in her nest. She listened to the rustling of ferns and moss as cats slowly got up and left to go into the frozen caves. She herself wasn't as cold as she could be. She hated the summer heat, but loved the winter weather because her fur kept her from the cold. Blinking open warm amber eyes, she spotted her charcoal colored brother slip out of the den. His shoulders were tense. He had had another nightmare. Sighing, Cloudleap followed after him.

    Darkfall
The big tom kept his eyes as low as he entered into the freezing caves. He barely felt the cold on his paws as he padded out. His left shoulder ached from the deep scar that ran along it. During the cold, it always hurt especially after nightmares. He closed his eyes, pausing to try and shake away the images of foxes. It helped, but barely. Suddenly, a warm breath on his face made him open his eyes. It was Cloudleap. Her warm amber eyes flickered briefly with concern before becoming blank again. Same old Cloudleap.

  • fleckstar's paws curled around her paws before hearing heavystar's voice enter her ears. slowly she turned her head to face to white furred tom "to a point, yes." slowly the molly got to her paws turning her attention once more to the older leader "be careful by the enterance, there could be ice. I don't want you to slip and get injured," fleckstar told him obviously concern with his safety for the time being. the tortie gave the tom a smile before exiting the den and to the apprentices' den.

  • Mudstream yawned in his den to see his breath escape his jaws. "Brr." he hissed crawling to the back of the med den to avoid the leaf bare winds, which was just as cold at the back of his cave. (in a hurry)

  • Robinpaw crouched just inside the apprentices' den, her shoulders hunched and ears flat against the cold. "You can say that again," she agreed, glancing at Snakepaw as she spoke. The vivid orange and black molly surveyed the camp with weary amber eyes. She was searching for Brindlepelt, her mentor.

"We've seen worse," Stonepaw input from his place at the back of the den, his dark-tipped ears twitching. It was extremely chilly, but it was nothing LostClan hadn't experienced before. As he spoke, a small shudder rippled through his body, and he folded his paws beneath his chest.

Breezepaw lifted his head at the sound of movement in the den, and blinked open bleary green eyes, squinting slightly in the gloom. "Mudstream?" He called, his voice slightly hoarse.

Rivermist parted her jaws in a yawn, her green eyes scanning the dimly-lit warriors den. A bitter breeze washed over her, stirring her fur and causing her to flatten her ears. "Certainly is cold this morning," she remarked to nobody in particular, hauling herself to her paws. The dark grey tabby she-cat shook out her long fur and rolled her shoulders as she stretched before she exited the den.

  • Briarpaw woke with a start, his ears twitching nervously. He let out a large yawn, and licked his lips. He stood up and padded silently out of his den, looking around camp for his mentor.

Brindlepelt woke up and stretched, looking around. Once again, she had forgotten where she was. She soon remembered she was in LostClan camp. Shivering, she padded outside her den to look at things. The deputy yawned again, her eyes droopy. Her pelt shivered once more, searching around the camp.

Softfern looked down at Sandkit. "Sandkit, wake up honey. Your siblings are playing outside, and Lynxkit and Silverkit are waiting for you." The queen nuzzled her kit with her nose. The queen looked over at her other kits, sleeping soundly. Silverkit and Lynxkit were the only ones awake.

Lynxkit flicked his ear as he sat down by Silverkit. Even though they were three moons old, they seemed like they were 5, playing how they did. Silverkit twitched her tail tip while waiting.

  • Rowanflame was already awake and observing the Clan from a point on a high rock. She looked down and saw her fellow deputy, Brindlepelt, padding out of her den. Bounding down from the rocks, she approached Brindlepelt. "Good morning!" she greeted her.

  • Robinpaw let out a small groan of frustration as she spotted her mentor. However, she hauled herself to her paws, and trudged out into the main cave. "Brindlepelt!" She called, her amber eyes round, "Are we going training today?"

  • Brindlepelt's fur was shaking from thw cold wind. "Good morning, Rowanflame. How are you?" The deputy asked her friend. When her apprentice popped up and asked her if they were training, she looked down at Robinpaw. "Yes, we are going to go hunting before all the prey has hid in their dens, so we can stalk the pile." She answered with a sling nod of her head.

Foxthistle growled as he spotted his apprentice, Stonepaw. "Stonepaw! Why didn't you come over to me earlier? I had something planned before the storm has risen!" Foxthistle snarled, his ears pricked and tail lashing.

  • Robinpaw nodded, blinking up at her mentor with owlish amber eyes. "Okay," she agreed. Upon hearing Foxthistle's sharp hiss, she spun around, her ears flat. Her foster brother and Foxthistle's apprentice, Stonepaw, stood before the bristling tom; his head was bowed and his eyes were fixed on the floor. Oh, what I wouldn't give to feed Foxthistle a taste of his own medicine, a voice inside her head growled threateningly.

Stonepaw hung his head, his ears flat and his gaze fixed on the ground by his paws. "Sorry, Foxthistle," he mumbled, refusing to look up at his mentor. "I didn't get much sleep last night, so I was tired..." He didn't bother to finish his sentence, knowing that no matter what he said Foxthistle would still be angry at him.

Rivermist searched for her apprentice, Briarpaw.

  • "Alright then, lets go. We best hurry." Brindlepelt nodded, soon looking at Foxthistle, then over at Rowanflame. "Sorry I have to leave. See ya later." The deputy started to walk over to Foxthistle, her ears pricked high and her posture clean as she faced him. "That is no way to speak to an apprentice! Leave the poor apprentice alone! Ih he's tired, let him sleep! And for StarClan's sake Foxthistle! Just stop yowling! You're going to wake the whole camp if you keep at it!" The deputy started into Foxthistle's flaming amber eyes as he stared at her in fury. But Foxthistle knew better to fight with a deputy, so he turned around to stare at his apprentice. "Now listen to me Stonepaw! If you go back to sleep, your missing out on battle moves..." He whispered into the apprentice's ear, and walked away.

Briarpaw looked up as his mentor came forward toward him. "Rivermist! I'm sorry, I just got up. Last night worked me hard, staying up half the night. I'm so sorry.."

  • Redpaw padded out of his den. The leafbare winds didn't make it to him but caused the cave to be cold. The sharp air battled to get passed his thick, fully red fur, but failed. He trotted across the cave floor, the chilly stone feeling like nettle pricks on his pads, yet he didn't mind.

  • Robinpaw breathed a sigh of relief; at least Brindlepelt had intervened. She waited patiently behind her mentor for the order to exit the camp, her head tilted to one side. She met Stonepaw's eyes and offered him a sympathetic glance, mouthing the words: "I'll shred him if he does it again, don't you worry." The small molly smiled as Stonepaw shook his head, the tiniest grin appearing on his own maw. Of course she was only joking.

Stonepaw nodded, still refusing to look at Foxthistle. "It won't happen again," he apologised, his voice low, and sighed through his nose. He glanced up at Robinpaw, and couldn't help but return the smile she flashed him, amused at her empty threat. Robinpaw never failed to cheer him up, no matter what the situation.

Rather surprised at the panicked apology of her apprentice, Rivermist blinked. However, a purr began to rumble in the back of her throat, and she stretched forward to touch her nose to the top of Briarpaw's head, giving him a friendly flick on the shoulder with her tail. "Oh, don't worry yourself so much," she reassured. In a quieter voice she added, "I'm not Foxthistle, I won't bite your head off. Now c'mon, let's head out before we get shouted at for dawdling."

  • Bridlepelt watched Foxthistle storm off, and she let out a sigh of relief. Touching her apprentice with her tail, she took him out of camp.

Briarpaw looked up at his mentor and nodded. He stood up, shook his pelt, and followed his mentor.
