  • Meh, I'll start I guess. Here goes the dreaded first post xD

Satoshi blinked as a white light suddenly flashed him, and instinctively raised his hands to shield his eyes, however by the time they were up, the light was already gone, leaving his vision blurred. There was a few gasps of shock, and Satoshi looked around, trying to blink out of the fuzziness. However something was off, as above everyone's head there was words just... floating above them. And a health bar. And a level number. He blinked some more, not willing to say anything. Was he hallucinating or something? He didn't want to look weird and point out the things above their heads.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;][I]What the...?! Panic surged through Nicolia--or as she preferred to be called, Nico--as a white light blinded her. However, it was over almost as soon as it started. She blinked, confused and dazed. It took her a minute, but soon Nico realized something was... off. Different, if you will. She studied her fellow classmates and soon realized what it was. [I]Are those... nametags? And a health bar? Confusion hit her in the face like a baseball. Unable to hold back the question, Nico's gaze scanned the room as she said hesitantly, "What's going on?"[/fancypost]

  • Mayume sat in pure shock as a bright light blinded her. Before she knew it the light was gone, but she was still in a state of confusion. 'What... What happened..?' she thought blinking as she looked around. She immediately noticed something was going on and it was weird. Her classmates had what looked to be words above their heads. 'What is going on with everyone?!' she looked toward Nico. "Y-You see the words too right..? Or am I going mad..?" She asked nervously

  • "Your not" Satoshi's words rang out suddenly, in fact, there was a sort of excitement in his voice as he realised that he wasn't going crazy, and he actually started investigating everyone else, looking at their names and their health and levels in awe, "This is pretty cool... hey, everyone seems to be level two or three, which am I?" he asked out loud, having a level 2 beside his name above his head. What could he say, he was a fan of games, and it was every gamers dream to get sucked into a game and live out their characters lives, however it was a bit weird, as they didn't seem to be in another world.

  • She quickly looked toward him and looked above his head. "..You're level two! What am I?" She asked with a smile, trying to look up at her own, which was a level 2 even though she couldn't see it. "What does this all mean..? I can't tell if it's good or bad.. But it seems almost like an RPG game.." She murmured as if she was trying to figure things out. "Are we supposed to go on quests or something..?" She joked, half seriously

  • [align=center]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;]"Level two, I think." Nico assumed hers was the same, as they all probably had around the same. Nico studied the other student's nametags, levels and health bars for a moment before realizing something. "Well, don't games that have stuff like this have, you know, classes and skills?"

//Currently too hungry to put anything better ;-; So sorry. I'll be eating soon.[/fancypost]

  • "hmm..." satoshi said as he squinted at the space above Mayume's head, before nodding, "same as me" he finally stated, running a hand through his hair quickly, "oh yeah, that's right. I bet if we have classes, some of us will be heroes!" he said quite excitedly, then paused. How did he see his own stats? "Status?" he almost asked, and suddenly a profile page came up in front of him, making him jump back off his chair. He was the only one able to see it, and his eyes almost gleamed in glee, "Satoshi Rei, lvl 2... Oh! I cant tell if y strength is normal, or above average..." he asked, but what was his class? He quickly scanned the status page with his eyes, searching for the information he was looking for.

Rin looked around, a mix of excitement and adrenaline rushing through her veins instill from the white flash. She ran her tattooed hand through her hair that was tied in a half ponytail. Rin remained silent as her classmates figured out what was happening to them, no one needed her opinion, she'd rather let the others solve the problem instead of her. Man, this is just like that anime..except we're in the real world... Has it has this happened to others before us? Is it only happening to us? Rin questioned herself rubbing her neck nervously, her eyes darted around the classroom before she stood up. "So what are we going to do now? It's not like we can tell anytime else except each other, and what if this thing is slowly killing us? Did anyone feel anything out of the ordinary while the flash?" Rin questioned, forcing her voice to sound calm and a little bored.

  • "Cool!" She cheered when she heard her level. She looked up when he said the word 'Status' and watched him jump back while looking at something unknown. "What did you do..? I can't see what you're doing.." She murmured and then repeated him. "S..Status...?" She called out hesitantly before a profile came up which also made her jump. "W-Whoa... What is this..?"

  • [align=center]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;]Nico tilted her head as the others said the word 'status' and a page came up, displaying information. Naturally, she repeated the ritual and a page of her own came up, showing different tabs next to her basic information that displayed her name and level. Here were things labeled Inventory, Professions, Gear... But the one that drew her attention was the one labeled 'Stats', which she knew was short for Statistics. Tapping it with her finger, it changed the display.

Scanning the page, it showed things like her mad hp, her defense and attack stats, but most importantly, her class. Right in the top right hand corner was a small picture of a staff over a green cross, like the ones you see on hospitals. Underneath she read the word 'Cleric', a healing class used in some MMORPGs, and one of her favorites. "I found it! Look in the top right corner of your stats." Nick paused to let them check their own before announcing happily, "I'm a Cleric!"[/fancypost]

  • Satoshi was still examining his own page when he heard Nico's voice reach his ears, and his eyes scanned over to the place where it displayed his class. Naturally, he had always imagined that he would get a class directly involved in fighting, and his face suddenly dropped as he read his class, 'Relic Smither.' He closed the status page immediately after he saw that, his earlier excited attitude disappearing and being replaced by a solemn one. Finally, he heard what Rin said, and hushed her with a raised hand. "Firstly, how do we now that everyone in the world didn't just get the same ability as us, seeing as everyone here just got it? As secondly, even if it was killing us what could we do? And I was too busy trying not to become blind to have kept my eyes open.

  • She listened to Nico and poked at the stats. ".. Um... Oh! I'm an.. Illusionist..? Sounds so cool!.. But.. What is that..?" She asked curiously looking at the her class and the symbol that was above it, which looked to be a optical illusion of a triangle. Satisfied, she closed her page and looked up. "I don't think it's killing us... At least It doesn't seem like it is.. Anyway is there an objective to this..?"

  • [align=center]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;]"I donno, but hey, you gotta admit, this is pretty cool, no?" Nico put in, her endlessly optimistic side coming out. She was still going through her profile, finding the skills and abilities tab and going through them. She had five skills, Healing Rain, Nature's Cure, Mending, Heaven's Light and Sacred Blessing. She apparently had an ability too, something called Final Stand. Each seemed to have a level next to them as well. Excitement was clearly showing as she went through them, trying to put together what each of them exactly did.[/fancypost]

  • "Yeah, it is." Satoshi agreed, although was reluctant to call his status page back up once more. His class, 'Relic Smith' was something he never would've even imagined existing, and so he looked into his skills quickly. He seemed to have gained a crafting class, and as expected, he had a smithing ability. But what was a relic? "Do you recon a relic does the same thing to us as they do in a game?" he asked nobody in particular, and huffed slightly, furrowing his eyebrows in thought.

  • [align=center]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;]"Can you elaborate? It usually varies depending on the game." Standing, Nico walked over to Satoshi, curious on why he had asked the question. She looked over to see what class he was, and read the words 'Relic Smith'. "Interesting..." So then they all got different classes then, probably. She got Cleric, Satoshi got Relic Smith... "I wonder how many classes there are..." She murmured, half to herself.[/fancypost]

  • "Who knows?" Satoshi replied to the question, and looked around the classroom quickly. If he was a relic smith, someone was probably just a normal blacksmith... right? He imagined that the only skill different to him/her he had was the relic creation skill. He wanted to try it out, and dismissed the status page with a wave of the hand. "Now... what are we gonna do next?"

  • [align=center]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify; line-height: 11px; margin-top: -7px;]Nico shrugged, but then thought of something. "Why don't we go out and try and figure out what these new 'skills' do, or maybe see if the same thing has happened to everyone else?" She raised her gaze from her profile to look at the others around her, a curious and excited look on her face. She may be intelligent yes, but she was also considerably childish--an interesting mix to say the least.[/fancypost]
