Where had Gary been all these weeks and months? That was a very good question considering that it had been a long absence, he had taken the time to slip away when Ash hadn't noticed only to try and search for any survivors from home or anywhere from their former universe. He had gotten horribly frustrated pausing somewhere near water as he felt his green eyes starting to bloom with tears, there was nowhere around so might as well cry his eyes out where Ash wouldn't see him doing such a thing. "God dammit, Gary. . .Pull it together. . ." He began wiping the salty tears from his eyes biting his lower lip glancing over to the small lake that he had found, he stared at his reflection flicking his long ears back. "Gramps. . .Fvck, why couldn't it be me instead? You had a whole lot ahead of you. . .I was just some snob nosed brat. . ." He gritted his teeth digging his claws into the soil underneath wanting to scream "Why did it have to be Gary? I admired you, Gramps. . .I wanted to be like you. I wanted to uphold your legacy as professor. . .But now, you're gone. . .There is. . .No. . .More. . ." He paced back and forth only to hear something move in the lake, he found a small frown on his maw.
"Why are you crying like a little b*tch? Ranting about who knows what,"
The voice was grouchy and Gary caught sight of someone who appeared like a servalline but had these weird mutations, he swallowed feeling his throat growing dry catching the sight of sharp teeth in the mouth of this unknown being but instead of just saying anything just yet. Gary wiped the tears from his eyes and muttered "Y'know calling people things like that won't get you anywhere. . ." The hybrid serval would crawl onto the banks being followed by a shark tail, he blinked both slate blue eyes at the coffee brown serval in front of him simply giving a roll of his shoulders stating with no emotion in his voice "Hey, does it look like I give any fvcks, Princess? I was just asking, my way of asking that is. . .So, I suggest you get used to it. . ." Gary frowned at this shark-like serval deciding that he wouldn't bother the other and started walking away in the direction that was probably Blizzardclan. The shark-like servalline didn't even say a word and simply returned to the lake without a word.
Gary had some trouble during the journey.
He blinked exhaustion out of his eyes as he glanced at the staircase that he remembered racing up with Ash, he found a frown on his maw knowing that he wouldn't be racing up there any time soon. He had lost a leg, who knows what happened to the limb; only Gary knew. Blood dripped from the wound that he covered up with bandages being smart enough to use marigold though he had a few scars on his body that bled freely. The coffee brown serval limped up the staircase taking a deep breath, he would arrive at the top. He was sure of it and he was determined to make it. Once he made it up to the top, he slumped to the ground horribly tired as he gulped air greedily. Jesus. He coughed feeling a chuckle escape his maw as he spoke "Gary Oak. . .Rejoining. . ." He suddenly went unconscious.
Truth be told but the only reason why he returned to this lousy place was because Ash was here. Ash and his little friends. The only place he felt like he belonged.
