i used to know how to do it, but this is the first time i've been here in a few months and i'm having trouble. When i try to directly upload the file, the gif doesn't move. When i try to use a direct url, nothing shows up. The website i use to upload my gifs is Photobucket, but if anyone has suggestions for a better site to use then i'm down.

[justify][size=10]photobucket does tend to have a lot of images that don't show up here.
i strongly suggest lunapic & choose the option to host the image with imgur- it always works perfect for me!

If it's a tumblr pic, take that url, go to tinyurl.com, put the tumblr url in there, get the 'short cut url' and paste it. It'll work like a charm.

[fancypost borderwidth=0][justify]Just adding on to this, but I totally agree with the imgur method! Sometimes my gifs don't load/play/loop/whatever unless I upload them to imgur. It's a really neat site, too.
