i went to private schools but they weren't fancy private schools like on tv they were just cheap and shitty
and now i go to a voke school which is cool ig but teach me your boarding school ways

also yes that's what i was thinking, a christmas party/or ball so then the teachers can be involved as well. holland would go around, picking fun at those who has dates, that's something that i am sure about.

1) how do dorms/rooms work? are there roommates? do we have a curfew? what's policy to keep the kids from getting pregnant, etc?
2) do we have a uniform/dress code of some kind?
3) is there a town around the school and if so, what's it like? big city, small town with like one diner and maybe a bookstore, one of those picturesque towns that feel like they come out of a tv show?

1) yes, there are roommates. i'm thinking there is roommates between two people, but i didn't address this in the main post, but possibly will with the members. roommates will be decided here, and are course accorded to gender (so no pregnancy). the curfew will probably be til nine on weekends, and technically, genders of the opposing sex cannot visit one another's rooms, but meet elsewhere.
2) this is still up to debate and at first my answer was no, that they won't have uniforms, but go against a strict dress code that skirts can't go too high above the knees, no sleeveless shirts, that typical thing you know.
3) i was thinking it was a smol and simple city because those are my absolute aesthetic and there's typical meetup spots for the teens and such.

ok if there's a strict dress code but no uniform, kadin is gonna be both a) relieved because he's always had uniforms and b) will most definitely always break the dress code either on accident or on purpose (at some point he will try to go barefoot or if it's like my school and they're not allowed to wear flip flops / moccasins he'll def break the shoe policies a lot)

[font=rosemary]@kadin - so, with sick days, you have to go check into the health center (or infirmary, etc. whatever you call it) some time before classes start. At my school, this means either the night before or before 7:45 in the morning if you have a first period class. You have to be sick enough for them to justify keeping you there all day, and then you're excused from classes. It's not a common thing used to get out of classes. If you're just avoiding classes, you can do this thing called fatiguing where you go to the health center and basically when the nurse asks you what's wrong, you start complaining about how little sleep you got, and they'll let you sleep through a class or two in the health center sleeping room.

I'm down for either, but if we're going dress code, how strict is it gonna be? Is it gonna be the whole blazers-and-ties-to-class-maybe-a-sweater kind of thing, or more relaxed? And I agree with the small town, they're my favorite. I vote there's some kind of 24 hr diner that kids will sneak out to get food at, and the diner staff are in on keeping it a secret if you tip well because hey, at least they get money.
