So you've found yourself stumbling across this school, and you're interested! Very good, since Badlands Preparatory School is one of the best boarding schools to go to in, well, just about America! It'll look good on your college applications, for even jobs you apply for. Everyone is interested in what's behind the gates of Badlands Preparatory School, maybe even yourself. You probably wonder well, what could I possibly have done to get in? Well, for starters, your grades are important, at least that's what they'll tell you. You're wondering what I mean by that, but Badlands, while how your academic level is pretty important, they like those who holds themselves well, won't make an embarrassment out of them. And the most important best way to get in? Well, either you've got to have talent, or your family has got to be important. Don't be bummed out about this, however, because once you join Badlands, plenty of opportunities follow right behind you. Please, don't be shy! Enjoy your stay at what will be the next four years of your life!
URBAN LEGENDS There is an urban legend going around this boring school that there are ghosts. The story goes that there is a parallel universe somewhere within the school, drawing interest from famous paranormal shows such as ghost adventures. Many people only think it's an urban legend, believe it's silly, but only those who are stuck there truly know the story, the ghosts who live their lives secretly throughout the school posed as students themselves.

HOW TO JOIN If you are interested in joining, please pm me basic details about their characters. the basic things i will need is their name, age, grade, circular activities that they are in, as well as a little about them from personality traits to a brief explanation of their history. you will at least need to be a semi-advanced literate roleplayer, i will not be too picky as long as you give it your best. Once you are accepted you [i]MUST have a subaccount for this character and especially if you have a high position, you must be active. if you are absent for at least a month your position will be given to someone else, unless there is an inactivity notice so I know of your absence. You being accepted comes with other awesome members who have joined along with you and roleplays that will include fun events for badges and roleplays that other members could join with as well as well as relationships and friendships of your characters.
RULES I am not too picky on what happens, as long as you follow basic ff rules, although I am going to bother you with another few details to branch off of that, just so it doesn't go unnoticed and there's a big freak out.
i. You must be semi-advanced to advanced roleplayer. I won't be too picky with this, as long as I can get 2-3 paragraphs out of you each post, I prefer no one liners. ii. you must remain remotely active with your roleplayer, especially if you have high positions. If you believe that you will be inactive, please pm this account to let me know. However if I don't hear from you for over a month, you will be removed from the list. Once you come back you will be added on along with your high position as long as it hadn't been snatched. iii. a faceclaim will be provided, but those already in use cannot be used again. taken faceclaims will be listed below. iv. be nice to everyone, but this is obvious. if you're rude and call anyone rude names outside of ooc this can be reported and results in automatic expulsion from the thread. v. while playing ghosts is a possible thing (which no one knows they're ghosts but them), these ghosts do not have supernatural abilities and/or powers. they do however, have the ability to influence the mind. don't go overboard with this, though. vi. there is no other supernatural forces beyond ghosts. badlands is just a school full of snobby rich folks trying to find a way to have a good time. vii. again, you must have a subaccount. you must. vii. you cannot join any thread in relation to badlands until you have been accepted! ix. have fun!
