The sort of day where people would much prefer to be curled up in the shelter of their nests than out and about. The wind was blowing something shocking and there was a light splattering of rain, the sun hidden behind dense clouds. Yet there was still someone out and about.
Ocean blue eyes were flickering over the swamp, ears flicking as they strained to pick up sounds that might suggest someone was nearby. The fluffy white cat's fur clung to her in some places due to the spitting rain. Ala was somewhat on the short side but a girl of a stocky build, solid instead of wiry and thin. In the swamp lands, she was a sight to see, sticking out like a sore thumb.
She was by the borderline now, pink nose twitching as the suddenly heavy scents told her it was time to stop. She couldn't see anyone, but that didn't mean they weren't there and so she spoke up. "Hellooo? I'm Alabasterpaw - if you'd like then Ala is just fine - and I'd like to join." She was a softly spoken girl, but she wore a friendly enough smile on her maw and her blue eyes were twinkling.
