Because she felt it. She felt it so strongly that her muscles were reduced to spasms and her heart palpated, her forehead sweated. Fear didn't make her feel good. And other then fear, she felt sad. Sad that something so traumatic had happened to her body again and once more, it was her fault. She was to blame. She didn't want to tell them what had happened because then they'd know that it was her fault. She catches sight of a pale grey blur that stands near the orange one; Colin. She doesn't even know him well but her eyes which are glazed with tears and shock are begging for an escape. His words are again incoherent to her. The shock is causing her body to go in complete and utter shut down. She can't hear, she can't see. She feels tired, worse then she'd ever felt so before. Closing her eyes once and for all would be good. "P-plea.. lease... I tried to k-kill them..." She lets this out and once she does, her belly flops over. And suddenly the orange one puts a stick in her mouth and she freaks out, thinking back to the moment the tail was stuffed in her mouth. Her eyes go wide open but there is nothing she can do to remove the stick as Colin would be holding it in and her arm hurts too much to do so. What is this? What are you doing, Fraiser? I thought you loved me! Her fear was hijacking her and making her think this way. She was being delusional.

But then the orange one said words, still that she couldn't hear. But words. And a lot of them. Littlepaw tried to listen, cocking her head, face contorted in pain but she couldn't make it out. Then something weird touched her stub tail. At first she didn't react. Then the searing hot pain stuck her in the rump like a massive needle and she howled, mouth clamping down on the stick, tears bursting out. "NO! NO!" Her voice was muffled because of the stick but it was clear enough to see what she was saying. It hurt so bad. So bad that... she felt herself fading to unconsciousness. And like that, her eyes closed, her head lolled but her heart kept beating.

He didn't possess the ability to teleport around, so how did the Shaman find himself approaching Littlepaw and the group, with no prior warning? No sound of pawsteps, no flap of his wings. One moment the feline wasn't around, yet in the next blink of an eye, he was. Shining's eyes, studying the broken and unconscious Hawkclanner, were glowing a bit stronger and brighter than normal. He wasn't carrying his satchel of herbs.

"Stand back." An order, not a suggestion. Shining's voice didn't have the same happy, lighthearted tone that his friends had grown accustomed to. It sounded too neutral. He waited a moment for O'Fraiser and Colin to step away before he positioned himself over Littlepaw. The bleeding had slowed down slightly due to the seapanther's actions, but it wasn't quite enough. It wasn't clear what the Shaman was preparing himself for, seeing how he had no herbs in his possession.

There wasn't much for an unconscious person to do. What she was doing in her head, however, was another story. It was all dark. She saw nothing and she saw everything at the same time. It was a strange world in her head. Outside of her head, her fur ruffled as a slight breeze passed through the small surroundings. Her eyes were half lidded but there was no sight of the pupils as they had rolled back. Drool was rolling down the left side of her face and her tail and broken leg was continually bleeding.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=;border:0px;width:440px;text-align:justify;font-size:10px;line-height:130%]The Shaman raised one of his paws, resting it on Littlepaw's bloody stump, where the base of her tail used to be. Though the air had been stationary, a sudden breeze ruffled up his fur slightly. The area around Lit's wound and Shining's paw started to appear distorted. The blood began to dry; the female's open skin closed up abnormally fast. And just like that, the bleeding stopped. Shining reached down and did the exact same procedure with the bleeding leg. Each wound patched up in just the span of a few heartbeats.

"O'Fraiser, pick her up gently and help carry her to my treehouse," the Shaman instructed, backing away. There wasn't any time for questions at the moment. He'd have to take care of the rest at camp, where he had access to herbs. Shining's right paw was somewhat covered in blood, sticking out against the white fur.

  • O'Fraiser's face is scrunched up harshly at the pain he's causing the young feline, but he doesn't see another option at that time. She's only a small cat after all and exsanguination could occur before even half of her blood is gone. He's pretty grateful for her passing out as he drops the cool metal, unable to keep it here to for long due to the surrounding cold and his own churning stomach. That's when Shining comes up and he moves out of the way quickly so that the Shaman can work. He looks on in intense concern before it milds some due to a new emotion of confusion toward what the winged feline is doing. O'Fraiser once had the ability to remove pain, but he lost it when he was reborn, replaced with manipulation of water. He's never actually seen someone heal like that though, what he's seeing now and it's hard not to press Shining with questions immediately- of Little's health and this power. He nods and moves forward, picking her up with his maw as gently as he can since he can't otter walk with his broken leg. He goes as steadily as he can with his hobbled walk toward the Medic's treehouse.
