The old building was repurposed in 1998 and given to Seymour P. Dixmont to use for his dream, a private school. It's been operating since 1999, and no one suspects anything. It seems pretty normal, but there is something that only the staff knows. DRF stands for Dixmont Rehabilitation Facility, or school for the mentally insane. Most students who attend don't know that they have a severe mental illness, and aren't aware that the classes and treatment they get are to fix them. 'Fix.' If anything, it can make them worse. Some students are killed within the process but the other kids don't know. It's all behind closed doors, these going ons. Most students are sent against their will, and some come easily, but they come out different. That's alright though, they're not Dixmont's problem then. GROUNDS ;; The front of Dixmont looks like this. The back is surrunded by trees, but has a large fenced in clearing like this. The inside is rather devoid of color with halls like this, and rooms for two like this. Some inmates, ahem, students need to be alone because of their behavior, so their rooms look like this. They have classrooms that look like any classrooms and a normal cafeteria as well. The only thing different about these is that the kitchen is guarded and nothing sharp is kept in the classrooms. The front desk looks something like this, and behind the doors start the classrooms. Then come the activity rooms, which look like these (x.x.x) and then the staff wing. There are full blown medical rooms down there, but they are hardly ever used. Upstairs, the rooms are kept as well as the regular nurse's office like this, and snack area like this. WHAT TO KNOW ;; Dixmont is Kindergarten through 12th grade, so kids of all ages are brought here. The different hallways on the second floor are separated into grade groups, unless there are more kids then rooms in the grade. The basement is strictly off limits, and going down there has extreme punishment. The Headmaster, Seymour, or, Headmaster Dixmont is in charge. All the staff eventually reports to him, and he seems to be all knowing. Don't cross him. STAFF JOB DESCRIPTIONS ;; The Headmaster is like the principal. They take care of all relations and everyone works for them. They keep everything under control. The Assistant Headmaster is liek the vice principal. They work directly for the Headmaster and when the Headmaster is gone, they take over until they return. The Surgeons work in the medical rooms. They aren't used very often, but they are kept within Dixmont so they won't go around telling people what they do. (They don't preform surgery often but they can be roleplayed around the compound. They also do work like broken bones and such.) The Nurses take care of small things like cuts and scrapes, and hand out medicine in the morning. They are just like your nurse at your regular school. Hall monitors are just that. They get the kids where they need to go, and make sure the kids don't go out after curfew, and make sure no one gets into fights. Teachers are teachers. They teach their specialty class, and the teachers for the younger kids have them all day. Cooks make the food. That's it.
