In all of his fonder memories, the most recent to come into light has left Aristotle somewhat restless. Upon finishing morning duties of patrolling, the auburn-tinted youth's mind wandered with his strolling, his legs working mindlessly as his thoughts travelled. There was a song on his tongue, foreign to those around him, but he held it down by clamping shut his maw. The last time he'd sang, he remembered, he'd been presented with such a collection of praises that he'd nearly fainted from the joy. Not only was his voice complimented, but as was his ability to chatter in the common French of his isle home. Amazement struck his fellow clanmates as they listened to the tilt of his speech, so much so that when he mulled over the occurrence in his head, an idea came to light, and he went to work.

Arriving somewhere in camp with a book and charcoal writing utensil in his possession, Aritotle buzzed with energy, a humble excitement radiating golden from his frame. The chill in the air did little to deter his excitement when he'd called to address those in proximity. "Would anyone like some lessons in French?" he would enquire airily, accented tone smooth as he spoke.

"alright, i'm listening," the hunter announces as he limps over.

Atticus was outside of the territory for a while, he kept himself at a far distance where no eyes could peer into his business as he unbandaged scarred up forearms and stuck needles into them. Once every day, he'd relieve himself with a dosage of Morphine. He no longer used it for pain however, his severed hind paw had healed into a stump that occasionally throbbed with pain that wasn't too intense. The Morphine was more of an addiction rather than a healer now, but Atticus was organized enough to leave quickly to take an injection and return just as rapidly without any signs of suspicion.

When the coyote stalked through grass with his forearms covered in bandages, he had finally arrived at camp, readying himself to get a bit of rest. He wanted to get some introverted alone time that Atticus had so desperately needed, but a voice caught the coyote's strong ears and he couldn't help but halt in his pace and look over attentively. French lessons? That seemed interesting. Atticus knew his own array of languages, English, Hebrew and basic German. None belonged in the Roman family of languages, he doubted that he'd be any good at French, but the coyote walked over to put some effort into something new.

"French. Tha'd ought to be be interestin'. Count me in."

Negan happened to be close by cuddled up to Lucille when he heard this strange announcement, not bothering to lift his head. Did he want to learn French? Not really, no. He didn't really see a need to (Other then the fact it was apparently the "language of love". Although didn't people say the same thing about Spanish? Who even knows anymore). But at the same time, he didn't want anyone cursing him out in French (*cough*Dean*cough*) without him knowing what it meant. So he'd at least half listen to what was going on.

Cherviltea would resound, additionally, making his way over and drawing to an eventual halt beside Atticus. His steady, canary-hued oculars would proceed to shift towards Aristotle in an amply curious manner, rather interested in picking up a few words and phrases, especially seeing as there had been a few French-joiners as of late. There was no doubt that French was a popular language, after all, and with good reason, at that.
