• The plot is that our two characters live in the same apartment complex. My character just moved into town, and since he has a different outlook on life, our characters get off on the wrong foot. Although everyone isn't without their demons, maybe his dark past still haunts him. He's immature and knows how to have a good time, she's sophisticated and does everything right. Opposites attract right? Or will they just end up ripping each other to shreds. Just put your form and first post together and we'll start.

    Name: 'Crow' Davis
    Age: 23
Appearance: please excuse that I'm stuck on mobile for now until I get a new laptop but here's a link. (Before you ask yes I will be including his sister. I think she'll add some well needed comedic effect.)

History: Crow's history is a bit of a mystery, and to why people call him crow and don't know his real name is another mystery all on its own. While yes he is immature most of the time, he is actually quite smart and intelligent. But he doesn't really show it, it takes him awhile to get adjusted to new faces but he's a kind soul.

IC: It was a cool spring morning and black clouds loomed over with the occasional sound of thunder. It was Crow's first day moving into the new town, moving day not really something anyone looks forward to, due to all the packing and unpacking. His black old Ford ranger stopped in front of the apartment complex. "Well at least it looks decent," he mumbled to himself, stepping out of the truck grabbing the first load of boxes. This is going to be a long day.

  • i to am on mobile and will not have a computer until tonight. do you mind if i track. i have a character to use but it is hard to copy and paste on mobile.

  • Xena had been looking forward to this day for a while. She had recently set out to start a life without her grandfather and cousins, whilst they wished to stay behind in Greece. She pulled up in her silver 2016 Chevy Malibu and looked at the complex before her. With a childish grin, the girl stepped out of the car. She noticed the black Ranger in front of her but chose to ignore it for now. Slipping her grey cardigan on over her knee length white dress and grabbing her purse, Xena tucked her phone and car keys into the white leather purse. She had sent in the money for everything a couple weeks ahead of time. She grabbed the first box from the front passenger seat and closed the car door with her hip.

Xena quickly made her way up to her apartment, pulling out the keys she had received a few days ago. Unlocking the door, she opened it and stepped in with a smile. She smiled and quickly set the box down just out of the way of the door. Heading back down the stairs in excitement, she hurried out to her car and opened the back right door. A series of meows came from within, making the girl's smile broaden. She pulled out two pet carriers, both containing a piercing blue eyed, seal point Siamese. Xena made her way inside with the two cats and was soon putting them in her apartment. She headed to where her bedroom was and let the two out, closing the bedroom door. Thankfully most of her furniture was already there due to her friend's boyfriend helping her with it. The official move had been set for today but the furniture need to be in place first.

She quickly made her way out towards the car yet again. As she heard her phone ring, she pulled it out and looked at the text. Her friend, Hannah Jackson, was texting her to ask how she was doing. Xena was just beginning to reply when she ran into someone. She stumbled backwards, a sharp pain racing through her abdomen as she looked at the person before her. He was carrying a box, hence the pain. 'I'm so sorry.' she said.

  • OOC: Sorry for the late reply I got home late last night.

IC: Crow moved forward towards the lobby doors of the complex boxes in hand. It was quite hard to see since the boxes blocked his view. He silently hoped that he wouldnt run into anything causing the precious contents to break. Suddenly bumping into something, "Crap did I hit a pole, hopefully I didn't break anything," was what he first said in concern. Until he heard a voice speaking, Crow put the boxes down seeing what had caused the little accident. "It's fine, are you alright," he asked with an outstretched hand offering to help her up.

  • it's alright. i wasn't sure if it was saying it posted on my end yet hadn't on yours. it's done it before so sometimes i repost to be safe.//

Xena heard him as he wondered if he'd hit a pole. She resisted the urge to laugh as he put the boxes down and offered her a hand up. Gladly taking it, Xena was hauled to her feet. 'Yes, I'm alright. Thank you.' she said straightening her cardigan. 'I assume you're moving in as well?' she inquired. She offered a smile to the stranger before her, unknowing of what would come about in the future. She patiently awaited an answer, all the while praying her cats were occupied with the toys rather than her bed frame this time.

  • OOC: Again sorry for the late reply

IC: Crow picked the boxes back up as the women was back up on her feet. "Yeah just got into town not to long ago," he said looking up at the sky as it grew darker. "And I'd better hurry up moving in or my stuffs going to get caught in the rain." Before he continued towards the front door of the lobby he turned back around. "You wouldn't happen to know where apartment 132 is would you?"

  • She looked out and nodded. 'Same here.' she said with a smile. She looked back over at him when he asked where apartment 132 was. 'Oh, you live right across from me. It's up on the sixth floor, left side.' she stated kindly. 'Sorry to run but I need to hurry and get my things or I'll be doing it in the rain.' With that, Xena hurried outside and began to pull out a few more boxes. She had pulled out three. That left seven more and then suitcases and duffel bags. Pushing her car door shut, she carefully but quickly hurried back towards the complex, hoping that it wouldn't rain until she'd gotten everything in.

  • Sixth floor on the left side, he thought as he saw the apartment number appear on his left side. Upon opening the door and lingering smell of perfume swept by him. Crow assumed that a younger woman must have lived here before him. He however was a simple man with only two boxes to go and a decently sized duffle bag that looked like it was going to explode. He placed the three boxes he had heard placed down by a couch that was already available in the apartment. With that he left back down stairs to retrieve the last two boxes and his bag.

  • She returned to her apartment, opening the door and placing her things inside. She could here her cats meowing before she closed the door. She turned around as the stranger she'd accidentally bumped into came out. She nodded to him and headed back towards the stairwell, not wanting to waste her time with an elevator. She was soon out and bringing in more boxes as thunder rang through the air. She needed to hurry.

It took two more trips to get the boxes and one trip to get her suitcases and her duffel bags. She pushed the suitcases over to the elevator and pressed the button, relieved when it quickly opened. As she reached the sixth floor, she gladly walked over to her apartment. As she opened the door, she saw the rain pouring outside her window. Stepping in and shutting her door, she walked over to her room and opened the bedroom door. The cats moved as she brought her things inside and set them on the bed. She let the felines go and roam the apartment as she walking out and began placing boxes in certain rooms. After everything was sorted, it came down to the tedious task of unpacking it all.

  • Crow walked into the elevator drenched from head to toe. At least the stuff inside the boxes was dry, it would have gone quicker if one of the boxes wasn't caught inside the tailgate of the truck. With a ding the elevator doors opened as he grumbled placing the boxes on the floor. "Well I guess it could be worse today," he said sliding the boxes into the apartment with his foot.

  • Xena heard something outside. Poking her head out, she saw a drench man. 'What happened?' she asked before he stepped inside. She stepped out and closed the door to keep her cats in. His box seemed unscathed. If only she could say as much for the man before her.

  • "Box flap got caught in the tailgate of my truck and now I most likely have hypothermia," he said sarcastically. "Sorry didn't mean to come off as angry, although it's natural in this situation." Crow turned around before speaking to the woman directly. "By the way I didn't catch your name," he said.

  • She listened as he spoke. 'Xena. Xena Alexiov.' she answered. 'Tape works great by the way.' She was just teasing. At least she hoped that's what it came off as. People always told her that they could never tell if she was or not.

  • "Sounds like an interesting name I'll admit I've never heard anything quite like it," he said. "Names Crow by the way, Crow Davis," he introduced himself as he opened up his apartment leaving the door open as to carry on the conversation. "So what brings you this way to town," he asked changing out of the drenched shirt.

  • She leaned against his door frame. 'That's because it's Greek.' she informed him. 'I came to America to start fresh. I used to figure skate for my country. After I returned, I had gone skatong with mt cousins. I fell through. I ended up needing stitches on my leg and when I was kept in the hospital with hypothermia. My grandpa told me he was scared that I would die due to my condition. After that... Well, let's say that was the last time I skated.'

  • "Huh sounds like a tough break, but it could be worse," he said throwing on a t-shirt that hugged his torso as it was a tad small but it would have to do. "I'll admit wasn't that difficult for me, sounds like you got the bad end of the deal to me." With that he reappeared in front of the doorway.

  • 'Well not everyone is lucky.' she said rather bitterly. 'I ned to go. It was nice talking to you Crow.' With that she turned and headed off into her apartment. She was greeted by meowing cats and the piles of boxes. With a huff, Xena went to work unpacking.

  • Hmmm, seems like an interesting woman, wonder how she'll settle in once she realizes who her real neighbor is, he thought walking back into the apartment. Crow had already moved in somewhere in town close by, so the question was who's stuff was he unpacking.

    Ohhh plot twist.
