Pastelpaw had never felt at home anywhere she went. The child was born and mainly raised in Colouredclan, it was also the same place she watched her mother's life slip away right in front of her with nothing she could do. That place never felt like a home after that day. She tried clan after clan after she left Colouredclan, but nothing fit. This hopefully was the last clan she would try to join.

The German Shepard swooped down from the sky, her pale blue wings shining in the moonlight. As she landed, the child tucked her long wings into her sides with a soft sigh. Pastelpaw looked up at the stars as they stretched overhead.

She then quickly glanced around, admiring the surrounding view. Willow trees surrounded her, and she felt a small bolt of hope. This place could be nice, it had a territory she liked, hopefully whatever clan dwelled here wouldn't chase her away.

Her ancestors were, too, she could feel it, as well as her two companions, Eastburden and Tranquilmeadow. After all, for so many moons, they had flourished here alone, resting and growing stronger after their eventful arrival. Now they were ready to really start rebuilding. Especially when they had so quickly secured SolsticeClan, despite it being by force (in her defense, they didn't even put up much a fight). Following the stream from the ravine, the slim feline sought out the tree for comfort, if for nothing else; after all, she had all the guidance she needed, with her two friends by her side. However, as she neared the large willow tree, she found a figure standing there, who was tall and winged, a mix of albacore and a hue of blue that caught her eyes particularly. "Um, ah," her voice held a small tremor, but nothing more. How did this person get here? Approaching more slowly, now, the small feline blinked, confused. Unlike her father, she wasn't upfront and rude, or guarded and brash. She was kinder, surely, and her heart was softer despite the death she had been witness to for many moons before. "What are you doing in DeerClan territory?"

Pastelpaw's ears perked up as Summerdoe approached, beginning to feel anxious. The German Shepard backed up slowly, hoping that they wouldn't be too confrontational. "I... uh," She quickly racked her mind about what she should say. Spit it out! She harshly told herself, shaking her head with confusion. "um, I- I'm Pas-Pastelpaw." The child murmured, shifting her paws around in the grass. She then realized that she didn't answer the question, and bit her lip. "I.. I don't- er, no.." Pastelpaw shook her head, feeling frustrated with herself. Just speak! "Can I join D-Deerclan? Is that.. that this clan's name?" She then asked, biting her lip in frustration.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 375px;][justify]how peculiar. Elijah strolled to the border and took a seat near Summerdoe, a confused and skeptical glance being shot toward the apparently flightworthy German shepherd. "dude, that's really weird. that you fly and stuff." he pointed out bluntly, not too concerned regarding his apparent rudeness. "whatever. I'm Elijah. welcome to deerclan."

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; color:; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify; overflow: auto; width: 500px;][font=times new roman]The German Shepard was so skittish, and Summerdoe tried not to giggle at that fact -- she was so much smaller, and incapable of harming even a fly. The idea that anyone would be scared of her was something to find hilarious, but out of respect, she dipped her head and refrained from laughing, only a tight smile set upon her pretty face. "Well hello then, Pastelpaw! I'm Summerdoe, the leader of DeerClan. And yes, you're free to join; anyone is, for a matter of fact. Would you like a tour, maybe? We're having a meeting soon -- fairly soon, in fact -- and it'll give you and all of the other newer members time to adjust and take in everything."
