The small penguin could be found at a small puddle where he let out several chirps as he splashed about in the water, he really loved water but the only downside was that his feathers weren't built for water just yet thus they were soaked. He flapped his flippers excitedly letting out more happy chirps only to glance up with a small smile on his beak, the small penguin had a name, it was a great name too. Though he wouldn't brag about his name just because he thought it was great, he was too afraid to state it either way. He was afraid in general and easily startled, the small Emperor penguin's name was Gunther. Gunther simply continued to play just splashing around with joyous chirps, he would start saying his own name since that was the only word he knew besides brother and mama.

[i'm sorry mei but killua is gonna be jealous of gunther lol]

Killua didn't know it. Killua didn't know that there were points where he would end up getting jealous. Where he would actually get jealous quite easily. It had happened to the him back in Riverclan when he noticed how happy everyone there seemed to be. Killua didn't know what that emotion was, as he was never taught what it actually meant and what it meant to deal with that emotion either. The ivory hued wildcat didn't remember the times he had been jealous when he actually had a family back in Riverclan. He just didn't remember them because of what his brother had done to him. Illumi taking his memories from his very soul and practically destroying them so that he would never get those memories back either. The assassin didn't know what it was like to deal with emotions properly, the reason being why he commonly just didn't approach others. Or why he didn't know how to interact with others instead of just teasing or making fun of them. He knew that he had the capability to kill most of the creatures that were in Blizzardclan, but he didn't do killing for fun either. It was just his job and nothing else. The assassin had a lot on his mind right now as he was worried about what his future would consist of. Since his last kill, he was beginning to hesitate during his kills. Which isn't good because it's something like that that could ultimately end up getting him killed. He can hear Illumi in the back of his mind repeating the words that were drilled into his head. Twitching one of his large ears Killua was leaping from tree canopy to the next. The only thing that was making a sound while he was doing that would be the trees bending under his landing weight. While he was doing this, he heard something that sounded like a bird, and landed on a tree that was over the top of the puddle. A confused look spread across the males facial feature as he dropped from the canopy onto the branch below. There he was able to get a better visual on what it was. A blue penguin. An emperor penguin from the looks of it. It still had its down feathers and was playing in a puddle. No care in the world. No care in the world. Oblivious to the tragedies that are happening around it. Killua could feel his throat tighten. All the assassin secretly wanted was to grow up like every other creature in the clans. Laugh. Have fun. Not kill for his damned family anymore. The assassin dug his claws into the branch that he was standing on. When he realized what he was doing, he surprised himself and forced himself to calm down a second after those emotions were expressed. "Oi kid. You're going to catch a cold. Or freeze to death if the temperature drops." Killua states, but there doesn't seem to be a hint that he cares about the other's well being. Would he secretly help the other if the other got into some trouble? Probably. It was just a kid after all, but jealousy is a powerful emotion that could force anyone to do anything without thinking.

"Ah, Killua's right," The servaline would have perhaps, taken pause, and realised that such had been the first time she had made such a statement. "It looks like you're having fun and all, but ah, don't stay in there for too long! You might catch a cold!" She'd add, fictional brows knitting in a small expression of concern, though she sought to conjure and prepare a towel for them, when they eventually decided that they wished to conclude their time in the river. Seeing as they were a penguin, she wasn't as worried, considering that the cold was likely natural for them.. Though, they were still a child, and therefore, the solicitude lingered in her tone, naturally.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=#; border: none; height: px; width: 400px; font-family: verdana; font-size: 11px; color: white; text-align: justify;]Now, of all the strange and curious animals that Tovi had encountered since joining the Clan of Blizzards, this one confused him the most. He knew what birds were, of course, and had heard tales of birds that lived among ice and freezing winds, like winter but all year round. It had never made any sense to the badger when he was a cub. Birds flew to where it was warm in the winter, and then went back to their homelands in summer. That was how birds worked, and until this very moment, such had been a hard fact of life for the male.

Nonetheless, he stepped up near Tama and Killua, taking a sniff of the child. "Hello." He seemed harmless, except to himself perhaps with the icy cold water, and altogether too young to know his full abilities - or those of his species - quite yet. It made Tovi wonder if the male would ever learn these things, as he seemed to be separated from others of his kind.
