    Luke swallowed thickly, listening out for anything.


    Raiden blinked, and walked straight past her and into the living room. He removed his shirt to reveal black veins crawling up his back towards his neck.

    Amber began to get quite nervous as she didn't know what was happening. What will happen to Aroura???


    Aroura's eyes widened. "What the hell happened Raiden??" She said in disbelief at the veins. She took a step closer with concern on her face.

    "Raiden? Talk to me you idiot!" The nine tail said with her tails lashing. She was worried and angry at the same time. And she took a few steps closer.


    Amber became afraid and placed her warm hands on him. "H-Hey.... What is it?" She asked in a very VERY quiet voice... She was trembling and she didn't even know what was happening.

    Luke suddenly raised his head.
    "Amber......Where's your sister?" He asked with caution.


    Raiden looked over his at Aroura, growling. He turned to face her, his eyes fierce and his fists tensing.

    "S-She's downstairs..." Amber said. And her eyes widened as she realised.. that isn't a good place to be.


    Aroura stopped and looked at him, shocked at his new expression. "W-What the f*ck happened?!" She said. "Its him.. He did something right?" She added with a fiery gaze.


    "Raiden! Snap out of it!!"

    Luke stumbled out of the wardrobe and ran down the stairs, to see Raiden encountering Aroura, a dangerous glint in his eyes.
    He ran in between them, holding out his arms. Raiden seemed to relax a little at the presence of his younger brother.
    "Aroura..." He said, looking into Raiden's eyes. "Run."

    Aroura's eyes widened and when she looked at him in the eyes..


    It.. It wasn't him.


    It wasn't Raiden...


    Taking a couple of steps back, she took Luke's word for it and knew she should get Amber.


    Running up the stairs and easily finding her sister and holding her tightly, the nine tails held the vulpix close as she headed to the door.


    She couldn't do anything to help... And fear overruled her...


    She hated to do it, but she ran out of the house and sped off down the street.

    Raiden watched them go with deadly eyes. Looking back to his brother, who was trying to stop him from moving. However, Raiden pushed him to the side, before running out the door after the girls.
    He caught up with them fairly easily, overtaking them and standing in their way.

    Suddenly Aroura stopped and put Amber down who looked shocked at how Raiden was...


    Now.. Aroura knew she had to do it.. She had to.. She had to fight him. Otherwise she and Amber would get hurt... And-


    "AMBER!!!"


    The vulpix suddenly dashed out and sprinted over to Raiden. "Amber!!! GET BACK!" She yelled. But the Vulpix didn't listen.


    She kept on going.


    And as she approached him, she hugged him tightly with tears flowing from her eyes.


    "R-RAIDEN! PLEASE. DONT HURT US!!" She cried. "THIS ISNT YOU! PLEASE!!" She squealed as her grip only got tighter.


    Aroura was now terrified with Amber being in danger and ready to do anything to get to her. ANYTHING.

    Raiden was slightly shocked at the vulprix's hug, that it seemed to awaken another side of him.
    "No....this isn't......this isn't me........" A voice said inside his head, a gentle one.
    The luxray shook his head slightly, clenching his fists and opening his eyes.
    He was about to strike the small girl when suddenly there was a white flash and his red eyes turned back to a golden yellow colour.
    The veins that once covered his back were now fading away.
    He was frozen for a little bit, before he looked down to Amber who was desperately hugging him. He bent down, pulling the small girl into a hug.
    "Amber...." He said, his voice somewhat croaky.

    Aroura was absolutely frozen. Her eyes were wide and she had tears bordering her eyes that didn't fall.. Her eyes were dark red before returning to normal.


    She... She almost went to attack him when he was going to strike Amber..


    But she didn't have to. Yet... Yet she was unsure.. Wary of him.. She may even dare to say scared. Her tails were straight behind her as if they were giving a warning signal and her face was completely blank.


    ------


    Amber hugged back tightly as she trembled. "Yay... Your back!!" She cried into his shoulder as she hugged for dear life. Despite trembling the kid was so happy Raiden was back to normal...


    Giving him a teary eyed grin, the vulpix hugged him again for a little moment longer.

    Raiden burrowed his head into the girls shoulder.
    "I......I'm so sorry......." he said to both Amber and Aroura.
    However, he soon released her and stood up straight.
    He looked to Aroura, tears beginning to brim in his eyes. He gently nudged Amber towards the ninetails, before taking a few steps back.
    "Take her and go.....please don't come back.........I-I don't want to hurt you." He begged.

    The nine tails looked hurt, confused, angry, and upset. Amber wanted to argue but Aroura picked her up despite her arguing.


    "B-But we don't want to!!! Raiden!!"


    "Amber..." Aroura said.


    The vulpix looked to her with wide eyes. "B-But Aroura!! No- WE CANT-"


    "AMBER!" The nine tails said, looking at the ground with her hair covering her face.


    "We have to go.. Okay?..."


    "NO! WHY?!!"


    "Amber...."


    "TELL ME WHY! YOU CARE FOR HIM SIS!! I DO TOO! AND-"


    "I'm sorry Amber.... We can't... We can't stay... Raiden doesn't think its a good idea. We have to-"


    Suddenly, the vulpix fought against her arms and jumped down.


    "WELL... YOU CAN GO ON YOUR OWN. IM GOING TO MELS SISTER'S HOUSE AS SHE IS NICER THAN YOU!!


    I HATE YOU!!!!"


    Aroura took a sharp breath in as the vulpix ran away from her. And she soon disappeared.


    The nine tails seemed defeated... Depressed... And.. Shocked.


    She thought she'd never see the day she would say those words...


    But.. She did...


    And it hurt...


    So badly..


    Her tails held no strength and she his them.. And she did the same with her ears.. Her fists were tightly clenched and she refrained from wanting to scream...


    She.. Didn't say anything.


    And as she walked past Raiden... She spoke in a pained and depressed tone.


    "G-Goodbye..."

    As the ninetails walked past him, Raiden felt himself die inside.
    It then started raining, almost like it was pathetic fallacy.
    Slowly, he began walking home, his tail swaying sadly behind him.
    As soon as he walked inside, he was greeted by Luke.
    "They're not coming back.....are they...." he asked with a sad look on his face.
    Raiden shook his head slightly. Luke nodded painfully, a small smile coming onto his face.
    "It's what best...I suppose...." He said, patting his brother on the arm before walking upstairs.
    Raiden walked to the sofa, lying down on it and placing his head in his hands.
    "I'm sorry." He whispered to himself.

    It had been a long evening... A very long evening... Aroura was not in tip top shape and occasionally kept dropping things and going off into space. So much so her boss was concerned a little irritated. But.. The nine tails didn't tell her anything of what happened. Just mumbled a small apology with no emotion left in her...


    Stepping out of the restaurant, oblivious to everything around her apart from the rain, the girl kept walking down the street, not even caring about how damp her hair was and the risks of catching a cold.


    She didn't care...


    She forgot how to that moment...


    "Hello...?" Said a voice she didn't recognise. Her heart sank more, if that was even possible.. And she began to run.. Knowing who it may be..


    The stalker..


    Or a new one..? The voice was... Different..


    But she ran.. And didn't give a sh*t about people she bumped into. She knew she had to call someone.. Anyone..


    And looking through her mobile numbers whilst in a quiet street..


    Only Raiden was available..


    She had no other choice.


    *Ring Ring*


    *Ring ring*

    "Its me.... I know its odd for me to call after what happened. But... Sh*t... I'm.. I'm being followed.. I have no one else to call.. I'm on the rose park street... A-And... And I have no one else to call.


    Huh? Oh no....


    No...


    STAY BACK!


    DONT COME NEAR ME!!


    RAIDEN-"


    Bleep.... Bleeep...... Bleeep..... Bleeep....


    The call.. Was cut short.


    "Haha hahaha hahahaha"


    A laugh was left in the place of Aroura's voice....


    One Raiden.. Would have recognised all too well....

    As soon as the call had dropped, Raiden wasted no time.
    He sprinted out the door, his tail and ears waving in the wind and rain, making his way to rose park street. As soon as he got there, it was empty.
    But he knew where to go.
    he ran to his workplace and straight to his Master's office....
    where he found Aroura.....

    Aroura was on the floor.. Right by the desk belonging to this man's master.. She was blindfolded with a white piece of material and her arms were tied up by a piece of rope that was cutting into her skin.


    "Ahh... You finally turned up... My faithful little dog.." Said the man who held a knife in his hand..


    That would explain the condition Aroura was in...


    Blood dripped from a wound in the girls head. And it ran down over the right eye of the blindfolded woman, staining the fabric red. Cuts littered her neck, shoulders and arms and her tails looked like they had been trampled on and were horribly bleeding. Her legs had scrapes from being chucked to the floor and she was slouched to one side looking... Looking like someone in a horror movie.


    "Look at this new pet you let me have.. Isn't she sweet? Oh her screams were delightful.." The man in question continued as he spun the knife. "Tormenting her was a treat! Oh you should have seen the little beast this woman is.. Fiery.. And fierce.. Definetly an excellent toy don't you think??" He chuckled as he stood.


    He looked from Raiden to Aroura. "No wonder you took a fancy to her.. She is some thing.... Too bad your mine.. Not hers.. I wanted to teach her a beneficial lesson.." He laughed.

    Raiden's eyes travelled down the girls battered body, before looking to his Master.
    "Sir....please....I'll do anything.... just don't hurt her...."

    "Hahahaha.... How sweet..." The man went with a large, cold grin. "You will do anything? Sounds familiar.. You said that about your brothers didn't you? How are those brats.. Probably better than this b*tch here right?" He laughed.


    "I-Its fine.... Raiden..." Said a broken.. Depressed voice.


    The man glanced down at the woman who gave a weak smile. Even if she was in the worst case scenario... It surprised him but he let the girl speak.


    "I mean... Its not like you should worry... We parted... And... Amber doesn't care.. Heh.. I made her angry. And you heard her.. She hates me now... What's the point in her worrying about me..? Hell, even Mel is probably p*ssed off with me.. Nobody cares... So what's the point..... I'm practically useless... No point in me doing anything anymore...


    I'm practically nothing in anyone's life anymore... I'm..


    I'm better off dead right....?" She said with a laugh.. She LAUGHED. Even if blood did spill from her wounds.


    And then.. As she was giving a depressed smile, tears fell from behind the half bloodied rag surrounding her eyes.


    "Nobody cares... What the point?!" She laughed weakly with a slight sob mixed into it.


    "That's enough Aroura.." Said the man tapping her bruised head. And soon, she fell limp against the desk.


    "See...? This is what will happen to you... If you disobey me Raiden... Got it? Now...." He murmured as he pointed to a man holding a case. He walked over and opened the metal case revealing one singular injection needle and syringe with a vibrant orange liquid within it.


    "Let's show you how ferocious our little pet here is.. And use her as.. My way of punishing you...." He sneered as he prepared the needle and stabbed right in to her neck.
