aeciliana had decided just a little bit ago that she would travel to a clan she'd not been to before to ask if they had any books she might be able to trade for some tea leaves. She didn't have much more, really, other than anything she'd had on her, and she didn't want to trade any of that away.

Now she, being herself, hadn't been raised in a clan environment. She could go into detail, but her home had been much more kind, blunt, and relaxed compared to here. Just earlier she'd been ridiculed for wanting to go to a party that the Exiles so kindly had invited them too, and everyone had told her that they were bad. Someone then ahd the audacity to curse at her. At her! The thought made her stomach churn. It had been thouroughly upsetting. Now she was here, unaware that Riverclan and Shadowclan were enemies.

"Excuse me, can someone perhaps help me? Uh, I have just a couple questions." After all, she not only needed to know where this was, but to know if they had books. The Ghost Town in Riverclan had some, but most were ruined by the moisture in the air.

It, of course, depended on what the stranger needed help with. He couldn't do anything that required a bunch of physical activity due to his current injuries nor could he do anything that would require a certain amount of height to complete a task (look at him, he looks like he's ten months old when in reality he was sixteen). Whatever. He'd try to help anyways.

The former Shadehunter would step out from the foliage, white tipped ears twisted forwards. His tawny gaze settled upon the lithe femme that stood at their border, momentarily taken aback. Whoa... "You're pretty." Oh crap, did he really just say that? Clamping his mouth shut, he shook his head and looked down at his paws and mentally chastised himself. What? Why did he say that? Clearing his throat awkwardly, Shōyō shuffled his paws and tilted his head. "I- erm... ignore that. What's wrong miss? What can I do to help?" Shōyō hadn't really been around recently to hear that RiverClan and ShadowClan had some crap that happened between them. And the boy couldn't smell that well since his nose was busted up due to his earlier practice with a volleyball.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0][justify][sub]"Hiya," a friendly sounding voice was the first to respond to the friendly-looking stranger. As Lydia caught sight of her, she assumed that (from the looks of it) this was by no means a joiner. Instead following up on their questions with a friendly "Whatcha need help with?"

he immediate response from a young tom surprise her, making her smile quietly as he approached and spoke. His comment made her smile, and she had to be honest, it made her day feel a lot better. "Oh, thank you," she murmured, shuffling her front paws and nervously sitting down. "Well, first I'd like to ask what the name of this group is," she started, knowing that it was indeed a group by the way it had a border around it. The smell was new to her, and she had no clue what it was; putting a name to a fregrance would help...

Also, that giant skeleton was the most beautiful, magestic thing she'd seen yet. She was doing all she could not to get up and run over to inspect the wonderful macabre spectical. "And second, I'm looking for some books, actually. Something to read at all. I've got some tea leaves with me to trade, but I'm afraid that's all I have on me thats material and I'm willing to give up," she gave a timid giggle, like glass wind-chimes. "Any books would do, really, if you're okay with giving them up."

While Pyrrhicwar enjoyed learning, he didn't actually read that much. When he did, he usually reread books he read in the past, or read books that were purely information - such as books about stars or powers or religion. When he heard that this stranger wanted books, Pyrrhicwar perked up a bit. He joined Lydia and Shōyō at the newcomer's side, smiling faintly. "ShadowClan," Pyrrhicwar answered, before hurrying to speak again. "I mean, this group is ShadowClan." He said, internally cursing his own stumbling. Quickly shaking himself from his embarrassment, the Siamese continued. "Do you have a certain genre of book you're interested in?"

    APPEARANCE
⋆ Blue point Siamese with blue eyes. No mutations.
⋆ Pyrrhicwar chose this body because of its resemblance to his birth body. It's a simple blue point Siamese. His eyes are a blue that resemble a clear sky. His fur is of medium length, meaning very little maintenance. The entirety of his appearance is very average, average for a blue point Siamese, except for his tail which is a bit longer than usual. Sans wings, he is quite similar in appearance to his father. By what he can remember, at least.

    PERSONALITY

    ISTJ - Lawful good
    ⋆ Practical - Polite - Versatile - Intelligent
⋆ Anxious - By the book - Stubborn - Judgmental
⋆ Pyrrhicwar's most notable characteristic is how he puts up a facade of confidence when he is truly not. Worried by everything he says, he once again resembles his father. It irks him (not that he disliked Polarispride) but he wishes to be his own person. In many things, Pyrrhicwar sits on the fence. He is both a lover and a fighter, both an introvert and an extrovert - refusing to simply bundle himself into a certain category. Much of how he acts depends on who he is around, as well. Despite having no children, Pyrrhicwar is fairly paternal. Unfortunately, Pyrrhicwar is quick to get attached, which can definitely leave him hurt in the end. WIP

He seemed to breathe out, releasing a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding, and smiled amiably up at the female. He listened closely to her as she spoke about her problem. Oh, it wasn't really a problem at all though. It definitely wouldn't require any physical work it seemed, so Shōyō was very confident in his ability to help the pretty RiverClanner. Pyrrhicwar had already answered the stranger's question in regards of the first question regarding the name of the clan, and Shōyō himself was ready to answer her second question about books. Man... he really wanted some tea leaves too. "I think I may have a couple novels! They're in Japanese though... you can have my translations if you want!" Shōyō didn't really read them all that often anymore. The only reason he had them was to better himself in speaking English, since it wasn't his first language.

s a newcomer approached, all of her attention switched to politely greeting them with a gentle smile. So the place was called Shadowclan. She chuckled lightly at the repeditive style; were Riverclan and Shadowclan made in mind of eachother? That, she decided, didn't matter. "Oh," she hummed contemplatively, "Well, I do like anything relating to space, and anything psycological and that makes the mind think is always captivating, um, but anything would work, though." She shuffled her paws hesitantly in the dust at her claws. "I'm not picky, and I'd appriciate anything, if you don't mind."

    Wait.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, I am so rude! My name is Caeciclia Lunabella de Chiel Éternal. But everyone calls me Caeciliana, Caecilia, or Caeci." She looked ashamed, her ears back at how impolite she'd been this entire time. "I'm so sorry," she repeated with a deflated sigh. Today she just felt out of place.

Caeci looked towards the younger one for a moment, though she doubted he was much younger than she, as she wasn't an old lady yet; but he offered something quiet wonderful in her eyes. The option to perhaps learn a new language. "Oh, my goodness, those sound wonderful! Could I possibly? I would love to study them." Did she have enough to bargain for something so valuable as translated novels? She frowned, turning to look into the small pouch she'd attached to her hip. There were plenty there, however she felt the trade unfair in her heart. Maybe she'd have to promise something else to the young one if he did give her the books in exchange for the tea. She'd just have to bring it up.

Space, psychology, or anything really? That gave Pyrrhicwar a lot of options. Thinking for a moment of the books he had in his makeshift den, the Siamese decided on one in particular that she may find interesting. He conjured the book from his den, figuring he wouldn't read it again. It was interesting, but perhaps not as captivating as the others. "This is a book on how different personalities respond and react to different situations. Anything from being under a, er, government of sorts to be the one in charge of it. It's interesting, especially when you can identify those you know with certain personalities, and watch how it lines up." Pyrrhicwar really hoped that made some kind of sense. He set the worn book down, glancing at the black leather than enclosed it. It was a good book, but he knew it'd be in good hands with this person.

Shōyō had said once their visitor had introduced herself. He bowed slightly towards her in response, "I'm Shōyō Hinata." He smiled as he sat up and shook out his fur briefly, carefully extending his wings before closing them again. The bones that were beginning to set felt a little weird to him, so he made sure to move them every once in a while. "Oh yes, I'm positive! I got all that I needed from them." He was so pleased that she seemed so interested in the novels he translated. He tilted his head once Caeciliana had looked at the small pouch at her hip, only now realizing that she had it on. Was that where she had what she said she was going to trade with? She seemed a bit uncertain, too... "You can take them now, if you'd like. And you can worry about what you'd give me later. I'm fine with that, miss!"

aeci stared quietly at the space from which Pyrric had transported the book. That was...odd. Delightfully odd, actually. The transportation of particals from out of nowhere, and seemlessly too? She smiled quietly and listened with interest to the explaination of the book. It sounded wonderful to her. "It sounds perfect," she said, her eyes sparkling in their voided-black glory. "Would you like to trade? I have some tea leaves with me is all, sadly..."
    Ah!

She turned her attention to Shōyō again, ears perked with interest. "It's very nice to meet you, Shōyō! So, do you speak Japanese?" She'd never been, but she'd heard of it was all. The language wasn't familiar to her, as she'd never heard it spoken, she just knew it was a thing. Excitement rang through her chest like a bell and she gave a sudden gasp. "Could you maybe speak some? I've never heard before." As for the tea... She felt her face flush with heat, feeling embarassed. She'd not planned on being offered so many books. "I'll find you something nice to trade for them, I promise! I'll get it to you as soon as I find something. Promise, promise." She felt extremely bad about it, making a mental note not to forgot; universe-forbid she forgot.
