Oh, this was all so very, for a lack of better words, worrisome, troubling, strange. It seemed so far, from his short time in WindClan so far, he was often the most anxious one. People found him to be quite strange, but he didn't particularly care about their opinions of him, rather their actions involving him. How they perceived him did matter, but it was the instant gratification that imminent action produced which he was most concerned. They saw him as skittish and jittery, but it was the newfound face of Jin-Ri that he considered to be most reminiscent with such. Not that he frowned upon it. Only, their interaction so far had been shaky, to say the least. He'd already succeeded in causing her to react so violently as to flinch from his actions, and he knew how crucial the actions of others were. Therefore, him leading her to camp quietly was, well, stranger than most other encounters he's had, because he had to be the one to truly watch how he acted.

Not that he particularly minded, after all. Being a gentleman of high standards, Aristotle would go into great lengths to ensure the comfort of anyone. As they neared camp, the tabby remained alongside Jin-Ri, peering at the cabins in the distance. "The- the expanse of the moor is quite immense, but the camp is welcoming and comfortable, quite like the people." the scruffy tomcat hummed, a gentle smile placed tentatively upon his features. Green-blue eyes flickered over to the smaller cat, sweeping over the sight of the snow-covered hilltops. "It's very cold." he furthered mused in sarcastic observation, a faint distain trapped in his tone, the tilt of his lips growing somewhat more wry.

From when she could hear, her mother had entertained Jin and her siblings with awful tales of the outside. Vicious, ravenous dogs and birds of prey, swooping down to gobble little kittens like herself up in a single gulp. She and her siblings had laughed, saying 'Momma! We're brave and strong, we'll fight them off!' But when push came to shove, the lot of them scattered like the cowards they were at heart.

But Jin didn't like to dwell on the past, she preferred to focus on the here and now. The camp was rather lovely, it seemed to be a calm and cozy area. Perhaps it wouldn't be too hard, fitting in here. She listened quietly, giving a slight nod, feeling a little more at ease than she had before. "I-It is cold." She commented in response, forcing herself not to shiver as blast of icy wind blew past. "What do you all... do around here? What kind of jobs... How can I... Earn my keep?" That was a lame question, but oh well.

The sight of warm cabins topped with snowy roofs filled his gaze as the two of them padded into camp, golden glows of activity filtering through their windows. It was cozy, and while he had yet to situate himself with a cabin of his own, he admired it fully. Turning his gaze, the scruffy youth glanced over the expanse of the camp, narrowly avoiding making eye contact with the straggling few that lingered outside, despite the icy chill which dried the air of its moister and painted the landscape with powdery snow. Lapsed into a moment of quietness, Aristotle took in her words in a silence consideration, a hum of thoughtfulness rising from his throat. "Well," the islander began after a moment, words eloquently pressed with his thoughts. "You can patrol the borders and keep an eye out for people at the border. You could hunt for the clan, or even hold little events for people to participate in. People have recently been passing out scarves to keep others warm in this chilly weather, for example." Aristotle paused, pale gaze flickering down to the ground as he continued lightly. "You don't really have to earn your keep, Madam. As long as you treat people kindly, we're happy to have you, regardless."

Shrugging his shoulders in one fluid motion, Aristotle's blue-green eyes turned back up to the cabins, caught on one of the larger cottages amongst those flanking them. "Ah, that's the medicine cabin, right there." he'd informed, flicking an ear absently. Mulling over a thought, his countenance was brightened, the tilt of his accented voice lifting to something a tad more enthusiastic. Turning to Jin-Ri, he informed almost excitedly: "There's a library, too, if that's something you'd want to see."

Jin-Ri looked visibly perplexed by this thought, fictional brows coming to slightly furrow down. Her mother's words echoing once more in her mind. "Jin, sweetheart, if you dare to go outside they'll use you. No one's going to keep you around if you can't provide, that's why you'll stay with me and June-Ke." She remembered opening her mouth to protest only to be hushed by a gentle touch to her cheek, "Mother knows best, Jin, dear." And she'd always left it at that.

To be quite frank, Jin didn't have any idea how to do anything. She couldn't hunt properly, instead feeding off of scraps leftover by wolves or larger predators, she didn't know how to fight, she knew squat about herbs. The realization hit her quite quickly, and she was both ashamed and relieved to know she didn't have to earn her keep. But a place such as this must need helping hands - or paws - around, she was sure. Shaking off the thought, the caramel feline continued listening to Aristotle's words.

A medicine cabin and a library, huh? He looked excited about the library, and so the smaller feline couldn't help a smile tugging at the corners of her muzzle. When others were happy she couldn't help but feel the same. "Yeah, I'd love to check it out." Jin-Ri nodded, tail swaying excitedly behind her. "I've never seen a library before."
