eleven, in which his mother had gotten him into therapy with his consent in order to figure out what was going on. but upon realizing his powers weren't really an illness, he shied away from going to therapy and ended up trying to figure out what was wrong on his own. he soon found out a bit more information from his birth mother's family after getting into contact with them. he also found out or at least is trying to pretend that he doesn't. either way, neerav knows that she loves him no matter what she says and most of her fear stems from concern. neerav is also surprised at how much of a mother she is to him despite not being his actual mother and almost always tries to be a good son due to knowing this. • manav bhandari has never been a big part of neerav's life. neerav could tell that, even before his powers, that his father has never really held concern for him. but now his father's just using neerav's powers as an excuse to push him further away. but all the same, neerav never particularly cared for his father's opinions either. • rubeena bhandari is his older sister who neerav isn't the closest with, but does love her. she's very big on traveling, so she's rarely ever home and neerav doesn't really keep in contact with her, but they do always catch up once she gets back home. • prisha bhandari is his twin, actually. the two of them are always arguing over silly, minuscule things but they both care for each other a lot. neerav goes to her a lot when looking for advice and/or wisdom since although they're the same age and twins, they both have very different opinions and views on things that he never thinks about. she's also known to be the more logical one of the two. • samreen bhandari is his younger sister whom he does care for a lot. he tends to play the role of the protective older brother with her, and almost always has her back. he does like teaching her as well, giving some advice and tips and whatnot in hopes of her remembering it incase of any danger she could end up in. appearance / neerav likes to think of himself as a rather unique and attractive individual so he does hold a bit of confidence in his appearance. he stands at five foot eight and weighs about one hundred thirty pounds, making him very slightly under weight, but even so, it's not a big concern. he has a rather lean figure with a nice build that isn't too bulky. people tend to notice his hair, and he does hold a lot of concern over his hair. wavy black locks that reach a little past his chin that he does style from time to time, usually tying it into a bun or just leaving it as is. his eyes are a dark brown and he's generally a very expressive person. height / neerav is five foot eight. weight / he currently weighs about one hundred thirty pounds. body modifications / he doesn't have many modifications, but he does have two tattoos, one of two yin/yang koi fish on his right shoulder blade and another above his left collar bone that reads 'head above water' in loose script. basic clothing style / in dress, he's very well put together most of the time. he takes to wearing a lot of leather and bomber jackets over graphic t-shirts and long sleeved t-shirts. beanies, flannels, jeans, whatever he's got, he'll definitely wear it. he's very specific about shoes, though. he paints all of his vans and converse and occasionally his doc martens just to make sure they stand out. personality / neerav is known to be extremely friendly and charismatic, so socializing and making friends is a strong suit of his despite being a rather quiet person in general. though, his vision of friendship can be kind of skewed, seeing as although he makes friends easily, he does have this idea that no one really wants to hang out with him on their own time, so he puts others before himself, most of the time. his selflessness, although a good trait, can make him be a pushover in the long term when people just want to abuse his kindness. even so, neerav doesn't particularly mind, and tends to take things in stride. he's an adaptable person, so he generally does his best to change based on who he hangs out with. and once friends with neerav, he becomes very loyal, a friend for life, really. his affection and concern for a friend or family member or lover is unconditional. he's also a creative individual, so he does like to express himself through artistic and musical means, most of the time. despite his good qualities, he's got some bad as well. rather than being the type to explore and try new things, he'd much rather sit on the sidelines and watch, being fearful compared to the bold. he can also be overly trusting, putting faith into people and things that don't really have a guarantee of working out well. he's also a bit broody, compared to most, falling into his slumps where he just mopes and sulks most of the day, becoming cynical, rather than his usual cheerful self. likes / record players + vinyls, staying in, URIAH BRINLEY WELLENS
NICKNAMES uriah isn't a fan of nicknames whatsoever, he'd much rather prefer that everyone call him by his full first name instead of cutting his name short and making their lives easier. he doesn't believe in the appeal of nicknames and that's that. but all the same, it doesn't stop people from calling him uri or riah, much to his chagrin. he even gets the occasional wells or brin, which doesn't even make sense to him because he almost never tells anyone what his middle name is.
DATE OF BIRTH uriah was born into the zodiac of a taurus, seeing as his birth date is may fourteenth. and his zodiac definitely shows through, what with his nature to be as stubborn as a bull.
AGE where to even start with uriah? uriah has the physical age of a high schooler yet the brain of a seventy year old philosopher. and the anger of a thirteen year old. ah, yes, he is two times as angry as he is smart, and that's surely saying something about the teen. he's mr. know-it-all with all his corrections and factuality and could share some of the most thoughtful ideas if allowed, but alas, he doesn't speak often. not that he wants to. in all actuality, uriah is an eighteen year old with some screws missing.
GENDER uriah was assigned male at birth, but has gone on to identify as agender. he's never been one to fit in the mold so perfectly, and his gender was just another part of the mold that he wanted to escape. he's never fully been able to identify as masculine, but he couldn't identify as feminine either. actually, uriah never really knew what he was and he soon realized that he didn't need to.

— STUBBORN: if there is one trait that uriah is known for (aside from his anger, of course), it would be how insanely stubborn he is. in everything. he's dogmatic to a fault, and always has to be right, even while wrong. which, if it were a test of intelligence, he wouldn't be, but he's never been good at swallowing his pride and accepting defeat. he will persist and insist and become obstinate until the other party gives because there is no way in hell that uriah will give in first.
— BITTER: bitter is the most mild term to describe uriah. he's always a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode, he's angry and pissed off almost all the time, and he wouldn't change if he could. his bitterness is expressed through his pessimism and his anger sparks at random moments in his mood swings. there's no point in trying to help uriah's mood since he's even stubborn about being angry, people just know to avoid him and let him deal with it on his own whenever he's going through one of his lows.

— stands at five foot seven and weighs about one hundred two pounds, making him underweight for his height despite eating as much as he can. he just has a fast metabolism, which is a blessing, but he also does tend to be questioned about it way too often.
