  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px][justify][size=10][font=georgia]A year exactly had passed since Tama had ascended to leadership in BlizzardClan, and while Sweetophelia had no longer been around when Tama had taken on the heavy role, nevertheless she was very proud for her friend. A year as leader was quite an accomplishment, especially when it was one's duty to run a clan as large as BlizzardClan. A celebration was rightfully in order, and so Sweetophelia had quietly sent word around camp to notify all the other BlizzardClanners. It all reminded her of the celebration she had once thrown for the previous leader's birthday, over a year ago.

This time though, the celebration wasn't centred around Shimmer Lake but instead was situated at the centre of the BlizzardClan camp where set up and preparations had begun immediately once Tama had exited the grounds. It was difficult work but Sweetophelia managed to pull through, decorating the camp in colours of blue and silver - colours that she had always personally associated with the BlizzardClan leader for whatever reason, and it was those colours that was replicated in the sapphire-silver necklace that she had procured as a gift for her friend. Even the cake and other dishes were made along the lines of those colours. And now there would only be waiting left, waiting for Tama to arrive. Hopefully she would appreciate the surprise.

  • [fancypost bgcolor= opacity: 0.5; borderwidth=0px; width: 450px;][justify][font=times new romanl]Pierce had never seen a party before. That is, not a Blizzardclan party. One of his young male owners had a party once, where lots of other young humans came. The serval had been overjoyed to see people, but he remembered some grabbing his tail, and others being frightened. He had spent most of his time under the couch in a tight ball, his tail curling around his paws. None of that mattered now, though. Sweet was throwing a party for one of his clanmates! It was all Pierce could do to join in on the celebrations. He trotted over to Sweet hurriedly, curious as to who this was for. Hearing Squeeks mentioning Tama in a hushed voice, his eyes lit up. Of course! She had mentioned her anniversary in the announcements. He rushed forward, careful not to step on Squeeks, and asked, "Is there anything I could do to help out, or... um, are you done?" Although he had become a bit flustered, still awkward and a bit put-off (he didn't really have an idea as to why) talking around Sweetophelia, a grin was spreading across his face - he couldn't wait for Tama to see this!

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 375px;][justify][font=andale mono]Riddlersgame honestly would not have remembered this was the anniversary of Tama's leadership if he hadn't come across the party that the Head Combatant had set up. As it was, the reason for such a scene clicked in his head instantly, and he surveyed the scene with a glint of contentment in his eyes. "Looks good, Sweet," he meowed as his gaze found the ragdoll, giving a fond nod in her direction.

It was sort of funny to remember when Tama was a little girl, new to Blizzardclan - that was when Riddler had first befriended her. She had been so small and naive back then, and he had always felt like something of an older brother to the serval - protective, trusting, and proud of who she had become. Turning his attention away from Sweetophelia and the party decorations, he looked around for the leader, wondering where the guest of honor was.

It had been longer than a year, since she had arrived, that was for certain. However, it had been precisely a year, since her leadership had begun. Quite an ample amount of time had passed, hadn't it? She was rather curious as to how many meetings she had made.. As to how many decisions she had made, and whether or not they had been the right ones, or the wrong ones. Perhaps, in comparison to some, a year wasn't a particular strenuous amount of time - and they were right, it hadn't been strenuous at all. Perhaps, it was somewhat bittersweet, to see comrades and family, come and go. However, she had enjoyed the previous year. There had been moments in time, when it had been a rather stressful experience, as with any leadership, or slender thread of responsibility given to her. Yet, there had been moments during which, she had been back to return what her clan had done for her.

Thoughts traversed her mind as she weaved her way back to camp, traipsing through the copse of trees. Her mind remained elsewhere, only tugged from her contemplation by the slight and prominent glimmer of silver, and azure, interwoven with eachother. She'd pick up her pace, expression riddled by bemusement as she pondered as to what could possibly be occurring. The idea of someone throwing her a party.. Well, she hadn't realised that such was possible - she mentioned her thanks during the end of the meeting, though she had doubted that anyone had caught on, and she had certainly been content with such. However.. a party? Perhaps, for Christmas? Or another festivity which occurred throughout this final season of the year? A slight anticipation drew her heart to pound, though she was unsure as to why, given that she still hadn't come to the conclusion that someone would have possibly.. pulled something this grand, together, for herself?

She staggered to an abrupt halt as she finally reached camp, vision embraced by several images of silver and blue, strewn throughout camp. The servaline paused, mingled awe and confusion skirting her countenance, as her leaden orbs admired her surroundings. She pivoted, about to ask the copse of silhouettes present, as to what such was for. Rid, Squeeks, Misty, and Pierce. Her gaze shifted towards them, blinking briefly. "For.. For Tama?" She'd stammer, words skimming her parted lips, whilst her eyes would widen in surprise. "But this is.. This is.. This is beautiful and, a-and-" The servaline would murmur, chest tightening as her head spun, and tears budded in her eyes. Overwhelmed by the efforts by which Sweet had put into the celebration, euphoria tugged at her chest, drawing tears to express the abrupt joy and gratitude which couldn't have been displayed through her smile alone.

The beast wandered over next, a rare smile gracing his features. Flicking his four ears and dipping his head respectfully, he chuffed happily, "This was awful nice of you Sweet." Assuming it was meant for Tama, since he also knew that this was the anniversary of her leadership. Tama... she was such an incredible wife and leader; he was honored to be so close to someone like her... and the thought of her ever not being leader made his stomach churn. Oh well, those worries could be put off until a later date. This day was about Tama.

    Speaking of angels.

Matty watched Tama's joyous expression happily; seeing her so happy made him feel wonderful. Making a rough 'purring' sound, he leaned over to brush his big head against hers briefly before chuffing, "Congrats, dear." Even if they were happy tears... he didn't want to see her cry. But in this case maybe... maybe those little tears were okay.
