[justify][size=8]Vanillapaw gave a sideways glare at the rainbow scarf-wearing lynx. If she had to choose between the two, the serval would always choose the latter. She would rather not have been tortured by Shadowclan. "I'm.. fine." She grumbled, tightening her flannel scarf.

"Well, I wish I could," The medic apprentice them growled, the comment being directed at both Rudy and Ross. She knew that she wasn't going to be getting away from the Shadowclanners anytime soon.

Vani then gave a harsh glare to Faustus, finding it somewhat ridiculous that the saber tooth expected her to hand out information without question. "It's none of your concern," She responded blankly, slightly sticking her chin into the air. She then rolled her eyes at the saber tooth's next retort, not even caring enough to respond. Well, she did care, but she was an angsty prick and wasn't going to let it show as much as she could.

Her eyes then widened with a mixture of worry and confusion as Radioactiveplague told them her rank. "Do you really think I'm that special?" She asked, swallowing. "I'm just an apprentice, they have plenty of apprentices that aren't broken like me." Vanillapaw hissed, glancing backwards towards her leg. "Riverclan's medic team doesn't need me, anyways."

Vanillapaw felt frustration rise in her chest as Sango spoke to her. She backed up as the fem leaned forward to speak. She sunk her claws into the snowy ground, tempted to make a snotty comeback. She didn't really have much self preservation, but she had enough to know that telling a Shadowclanner to 'fuck off' would get her killed. "You aren't going to get anything out of them.."

Spectrum looked at her, and purred. "Suit yourself." As the apprentice spoke, the lynx tsk tsk'd. "Oh dear, I think we will. Maybe if we hold ya under water until they agree to the terms." Glancing to Sango, she shrugged. Before looking at Vanillapaw. "Riverclan can hold there breath.. Right..?"

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:11px;line-height:1.5]Ah, Radio. Faus' kind of guy, and one the sabre could appreciate. A low rumble of just such appreciation left his lips when he heard of her rank. A medic apprentice? So not just morally important, but they were obligated to come after her.. a double plus.
Glancing to Vanillapaw's leg, he scoffed. He'd seen medics without eyes, without three of their four legs, missing more than just appendages. They needed her and she knew it - her rebuffs were both weak and futile. She'd dug herself into a hole, and he didn't know why she thought she could get herself out of it.

"I'm coming with you," he grunted to Sango. Not only did he want to see the looks on RiverClan's stupid faces, but he wanted to be apart of whatever brawl broke out.

//ahh is that cool if he comes?? it's okay if not!! just figured i'd ask ooc so it doesn't seem rude (^B iM nice i swear!

"Must we break the peace by picking a fight?" Caligula murmured in a disapproving tone, hazel visionaries defensively narrowed into slits, almost into a subtle glare. To her knowledge, RiverClan had done nothing to provoke ShadowClan - sure, they made a mistake in retaliating back - but that still meant that this feud could not be justified. Plus, someone had to grow a pair and work this out logically, why couldn't that be ShadowClan?

Rudy growled as this RiverClanner growled at him and Ross. He ran his claws along the ground, wanting to retort back and threaten her for showing attitude, but he saw that Sango was planning to head out, possibly with Faustus. He stared, "I'll come as well. You'll need more backup if they show aggression." Just like they did to me.

He turned to Caligula, a glare still evident on his features, but it was a little softer. He didn't want to yell at Caligula, but this wasn't the time or place! "If you haven't noticed, there is no peace." Rudy said, probably coming out more sharply then intended.

    // oooooh sh*t

The willowy femme flinched at the sudden and unexpected exclamation from Rudy, hazel visionaries narrowing into irritated slits as her head slowly turned to the side to face the Labrador. How could he say that? Naturally, Caligula would mentally remind herself to bite down on her tongue, keep her turbulent temper under control, but this was a situation that she took very seriously and tried hard to defend. The situation was that, seemingly, nobody was getting the fact that this feud was pointless. How many more had to die at the paws of others who lacked communication? She had not forgotten Coralie Mae and her unborn litter. The thought was enough to fuel anger. "If you haven't noticed," Caligula scoffed defensively, even though at this point her tone was calm enough to not come across as a snap, "She has done nothing wrong. There have been no attacks from RiverClan lately, hell, we even had them attend Radio's medicine training session. How hard is it to accept someone's mistake? We could just take the logical option and give her back, move on from this stupid feud. The Cartel have been posing a greater threat to us than RiverClan, yet we're doing nothing about it...don't you think we ought to focus on them?"

    [hr]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 420px; margin-top: -6px;][justify][size=8]"The Cartel? What the hell have the Cartel done that poses such a huge threat? What? Throw a few snowballs that you got pissed about." The act itself had been childish and nonlethal. Just a bit of sport that wasn't no more aggressive than a kitten laying at the border. The whole medic thing had been solely his own idea, we was not involved in it. He hadn't gotten permission to ask Riverclan but his own justification was of the medic standard. They worked together and not apart for the betterment of all clans. They were not apart of the political bullshit that controlled the thoughts and minds of clans. "It's happening so just deal with it Cali. They are an enemy and I doubt that will change."

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=;border:0;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt]
Rudy frowned as Caligula argued back. "We don't know anything. What if they're planning an attack? One already attacked me. We need to show that we can't be walked over. We're not a pro-clan; this is what we do." He retorted.

He glanced to Radioactiveplague and parted his jaws in surprise. Had he not heard? "What have the Cartel done? They nearly killed my brother!" Rudy barked. "This is why we need to show our enemies that we're made of."
    [hr]

  • [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 420px; margin-top: -6px;][justify][size=8]He hadn't heard and his eyes widened a bit to show that. Alek had been attacked and nearly killed. His pelt bristled and he took a step back, eyes looking away. Why.. wasn't he called? How did he miss that? He shivered suddenly and looked away, eyes flicking over his missing leg. Why was he even defending the Cartel? Because Twilight was there. His ears flattened and he gave a nod. A slow one. "I'm..sorry. I didn't know."

    Deal with it?

Jaw clenched tightly, the willowy femme drew in a deep breath and relaxed her tense shoulders as she straightened her posture, maintaining a calm facade. "Change will not come if we just accept it", her hazel visionaries briefly flickering to her mentor. "I'd rather try to stop a useless war breaking out than let it happen when it could have easily been stopped. Nor do I expect us to be allies, but enemies don't have to be at each other's throats all the time". Allies and enemies were never permanent, were they? If that were the case, there would be no history.

Again, her attention was diverted back to Rudy, auricles leaning backwards at a subtle angle. "Precisely. One attacked you, and now we want to fight all of them? For goodness sake, there are kids living there. They shouldn't have to take the blame for what someone else did". Caligula certainly didn't consider the whole of RiverClan as her enemy, hell she had family there, and if it meant that she would have to take their side to stop something devastating breaking out then so be it. Her loyalties lay to ShadowClan, yes, but she held personal allegiances too. "You sound like an Exiler" Caligula snapped back without a restraint over her hostile tone. This is what they do? "Go on then; go to RiverClan, start something, and bring back someone to torture while you're at it. It's what we do, after all" As much as she cared about Rudy and the rest of ShadowClan, she was too blinded by her own frustration to care at the moment. At the end of the day, she wasn't the one losing her morals.

[justify][size=8]Vanillapaw's bit down on her lip as she watched an argument break out among themselves. She felt comforted that not all of the Shadowclanners were mouse brained. She let out an impatient huff as they fought, irritation growing in her pelt.

"All Riverclan wants is peace, I didn't come here for the sake of screwing with you, I just want to get out." She growled,

Spectrum hissed. "For wanting to get out you sure have a snarky attitude." Looking to Caligula, she opened her jaws to reply, but shut it when the female compared them to the Exiles. However, she quickly caught her spice back and stood with a glare to Cali. "We are an anti-clan for a reason. If you're against capturing an apprentice, and hell were not even going to torture her. Were just gonna hold her for ransom. She'll be fine." She wasn't afraid to take on this wolf. Stepping closer to Caligula, she hissed. "Well, sweetie, how about you go to Thunderclan if this just hurts your precious feelings to much? Or maybe Riverclan. I'm sure you'd fit right in." She kept her voice calm, but she had a smirk. Waiting for Cali to come back with a predictable argument or butthurtness.

Rudy snorted. She was acting like RiverClan was an innocent, angelic little pro-clan that wasn't capable of fighting back. That sounded just as ridiculous as walking plants. Duncan was violent; who's to say that they couldn't retaliate as well? The yellow lab glared at Caligula and growled, "And you sound like one of them." If she didn't want war then she could just join the Knights of Eden! War was going to come no matter what, so she ought to get used to it.

Too frustrated to stay here, he would turn around before adding, "Tell me when you're heading out." He would direct that to his mother and whoever else was going to RiverClan. He winced when he heard Spectrum telling Caligula off too, and part of him wanted to defend her, but he was standing by what he said.
