Maybe there was a chance she'd been taking it too easy. Scratched, there was a chance - a big one - that she'd been taking it too easy. It was strange, really, how much things had changed lately. She was happier, more relaxed and in all honesty she didn't know why. It wasn't like the Captain had actually done anything good for herself lately. Not like she was complaining, anyway.

Currently the femme was sunning herself in Biome One, stretched out on her back, one paw thrown lazily over her eyes to block out the sun. One of Lucy's books had been pushed to the side. Hell, she was getting to lazy to finish anything anymore, let alone a book. She didn't know when it'd started, but she sure as hell knew when it hit. The sensible part of her said to go back to town, find something to do. The other part.. was half-asleep.

Ah, she wanted to be surprised.

    /lol what a starter

She was living in an enemy Clan and if she forgot to cover her scent or if someone found out the truth, she was in trouble. And not just her either; RiverClan would be, and Rick would be. This wasn't a thought that crossed her mind often, though, since she was sure she would be fine.

She had come to visit once more, but didn't plan on seeing Rick or Tara, and instead wanted to explore the different biomes. She started in the first and eventually came across Curtaincall, who didn't seem to be much younger than the body she resided in. "Hello," she greeted softly, hoping not to startle her. [color=#E0D8D1]"Can I ask what you're reading?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; line-height: 1.20;][hr]Emilia didn't have to worry about startling her; Curt wouldn't have flinched if the Riverclanner had come up and screeched in her ear. As the feline approached, Curtaincall would prick her ears, expecting to hear the curious voice of a kitten or apprentice come to ping her off. She was instead met with the pleasant sound of a voice she could only really describe as breathy. She let out a small sigh of relief before rolling onto her stomach, a groan suppressed as her muscles protested the movement.

"Uh, hey!" She'd greet the stranger with a smile. Oh. Yeah. Stranger. She'd never seen Emilia around before (given that Curt herself hadn't been out that often). Taken as the situation was, Curt could assume that she was probably a Colouredclanner, or at least had a dual alliance, so she wouldn't question it. "Oh.." Reaching across, Curt nudged the book until it was flipped closed. "This? Ah, 'Six Easy Pieces'. It's about science.. physics and stuff." She'd always been a fan of fiction, but her mum's old home only held so many novels especially considering Lucinda's love for.. science. Curt couldn't really relate, but to each their own.

The Captain would take a second or two to study Emilia. Certainly easy on the eyes, but there wasn't much to note about her other the chains that hung from around her neck. Very stylish. "I like your chains." Guh, she wasn't good at meeting people. "Ah, what's your name, if you don't mind me asking?" Unless they were meeting her at the boarder she refrained from giving out her own name. Despite her lowered suspicions Colouredclan had been subject to spies before, and she was sure it hadn't been the last time. "New to Colouredclan?"
